- Six Days Later -
Tanjiro fully recovered and begins training with Zenitsu and Inosuke, while Kyojuro and the others prepare for an emergency Hashira meeting. Tanjiro, who planned a starting match with Inosuke, felt the massive power difference between the two. He said, "Zenitsu do you mind if you join Inosuke's team?" Inosuke yells, "HAAH?! I don't need an underling to help me in my fight! I can beat you all by myself!" Zenitsu says, "I don't mind, but I don't want to be on this stinking boarhead's team." Inosuke looks at Zenitsu and yells, "Who are you calling stinking?" Tanjiro begs, "Inosuke, wait! Just this once, please let Zenitsu fight me with you. Just this once pretty please?" Inosuke says, "Fine! Since you asked, I and Ponitsu will fight you and beat you up!" Zenitsu grabs his sword but starts to get second thoughts. He asked Tanjiro, "Tanjiro. Why do you need me on his team again?" Tanjiro scoots closer to Zenitsu and whispers, "I'm whispering this because I don't want to upset Inosuke. But I've been training so hard that you guys got incredibly weak for me. So I wanted you to join him to at least pose a challenge for me." Sure... I guess." Tanjiro says, "Perfect! Once I get into the position I want you to count, all right?" Tanjiro walks to his position and Kanao begins to count down from three to one. As soon as one was called, the three clashed and generated light from their impacts. Zenitsu was beyond terrified at Tanjiro's speed and Inosuke was only laughing.
