Tanjiro, along with Nezuko, walk toward the town that sits near their home. Tanjiro thought, "Man... It's been such a long time since I've been here." Nezuko hums, almost as if she read his mind. Tanjiro looks back at his box and smiles. He says, "Well, it's been over a year since the last time we were here." After a few minutes of walking, Tanjiro reaches the cliff where he and Nezuko first met Giyu. He looked down at the clearing and thought, "If any other Hashira other than Mr. Tomioka was to come here, Nezuko would've been killed. I'm glad it was Mr. Tomioka was the one who helped us." He turns and walks up the path and asked himself and Nezuko, "How long has it been since we last been here? It feels like it has been over a year since our last visit." Nezuko hums again as Tanjiro thought, "Sun Breathing... Hinokami Kagura... I wonder how these two are connected? The Hinokami Kagura is a dance meant to pray, but I adapted it to battle. As for Sun Breathing, it's a breathing technique used back then. After Senjuro showed me the history of all the Flame Hashira, I read that the user of Sun Breathing also had these earrings I'm wearing. It's been over three months since he's shown me, why can't I find out? I'll think about this later after my visit." Tanjiro and Nezuko finally reached their home as Tanjiro said, "We're here, Nezuko. I can't let you out since there's still daylight out. But you probably won't be able to physically visit because we have to get going soon. So a little prayer and a cleanup will do for now." Tanjiro began to walk toward the graves as he started to feel sad and lonesome. He looked at the six graves and walked to them as he started to clean around the graves. After a little while of cleaning, he finally kneeled in front of the six and prayed. He started to talk about what had happened since he was last there. The last time he was there, he was training with Urokodaki in Mt. Sagiri. To be precise, It was approximately six months before he entered the Final Selection. He told them about the people he met and the things he'd done. He also told them about what he'd been dreaming of, especially the funny ones. He also explained what a Saiyan is. He also explained that he now trains with his friends, Zenitsu and Inosuke under Kyojuro Rengoku, the Flame Hashira. He also made two promises. He said, "Mom, Takeo, Hanako, Shigeru, Rokuta. I'm going to make two promises. One, I promise to train as hard as I can before I take on Muzan Kibutsuji. He's the one who killed you all and he's also the one who turned Nezuko into a demon. I'll train harder than I did at Mr. Rengoku's. I'll take him down and get the cure from him if Miss Tamayo doesn't create the cure by then. And two, I promise I'll visit more often and let Nezuko visit you guys as well. She wasn't able to visit last time because of the daylight." After finishing his promises, he put Nezuko's box down and prepared a feast for himself. He finished in under a minute. He stood up and cleaned the area he ate in. He then picked Nezuko's box up and bowed to the graves. He told Nezuko, "You might want to hold on Nezuko, I'm going to fly to our next mission but I'll fly slow." He looked back at the house and the graves and channelled his ki. A white aura grew around him as he mentally said goodbye (for now) and flew to his next mission.

Chapter is a bit cringey, I know but I wanted to create a chapter dedicated to a visit at Tanjiro's Family's graves.

More chapters like this, that include some pieces during Tanjiro's story outside of the narrated story could appear anytime.

I created this chapter sometime after the 99th chapter was uploaded. I originally had this planned sometime during the Entertainment District Arc but scrapped it. I had it redone because the idea popped up in my head again. I also gradually reworked it since the 96th chapter was released.
