Tanjiro looks directly at Muzan with a smirk, his tone challenging and defiant, despite Muzan's, almost, omnipotent presence, "One and a half hours, huh? That's all the time I'll need to avenge my family and everyone else who you took lives from." Muzan looks at Tanjiro with an angered scowl, it was safe to say that he was beyond pissed. He then shouts, "I've had enough with you and your revenge!"

Immediately, Muzan sends a plethora of whip attacks in all directions, but both Mitsuri and Obama weave around the whips before confronting him directly.

Both Giyu and Tanjiro join the two man confrontation, turning it into four, with Giyu dodging the whips, effort obviously evident with his expression. Tanjiro, however, was beginning to adapt to his new form as the battle raged on, allowing him to dodge Muzan dodge with, almost, relative ease.

Tanjiro cut most of Muzan's whips, allowing safe passage for Giyu, who took advantage of this and immediately dashed for Muzan, with Tanjiro right behind him. Both Giyu and Obanai target Muzan's neck, hitting their mark but to their shock and dismay, it looked like it phased through. Obanai begins thinking, "I cut his throat but he's not dying! He's not weakening a single bit!"

All four slayers were at a shock, with Mitsuri the first to voice her thoughts out loud, "Eh?! Eh?! We hit him? We definitely cut him!" Giyu then thought, "No! We DID cut him, I'm sure of that! But this monster... He regenerates the moment we cut him!" Obanai also thought, "We can't even cut his neck. His regeneration is way too fast to slice him?" He the gasps as Giyu shouts, "If we can't slice him, being too close is dangerous!"

Muzan unleashes his spine whips everywhere, causing Mitsuri, Omani and even Giyu to flinch, but they all were soon saved from two factors. One of them being the weaker demon slayers using themselves as shields to take the damage that was meant for the Hashira, and the other being Tanjiro, who targeted Muzan's spine, cutting every single whip off. Muzan, of course, regenerated but he immediately targeted Tanjiro by swinging his first backward.

Tanjiro responded, not by blocking the attack, but by punching Muzan on the jaw. Both met each other's intended targets with a massive blow. The two staggered as the weaker demon slayers band together, with one of them shouting aloud, "Go! Keep advancing!! Become human shields for the pillars! Remain alert to give Muzan some brawl at the very least!"

Muzan's whips target the demon slayers around, even the Hashira, who were shielded by the weaker slayers. Both Muzan and Tanjiro were in the middle of it all, meeting blow with blow, with the occasional slices of Muzan's arms. Tanjiro was too focused on Muzan to even dodge the blood. Besides, why would he dodge his blood, right? His own immune system withstood Gyutaro's poison to some extent, so Muzan's blood shouldn't pose that much of a threat. Boy, was he wrong.

Tanjiro doubles over from the pain on his damaged eye, letting out a shout laced with pure pain and agony. This frightened everyone around, even Muzan. The battle halted as Tanjiro holds his right away. He begins thrashing around, taking a few steps away, before Muzan continues his brutal assault on all the demon slayers, and finally on Tanjiro, whipping him. His body was too durable for a simple attack like that to be smashed open, so he was sent flying.
