- Through Sanemi's Life (Narrated by him) -

I didn't even know the existence of the Demon Slayer Corps or the Nichirin Swords. But I didn't die, only because I was lucky that my blood could intoxicate demons. I met a member of the Demon Slayer Corps who was also pursuing demons. - With the Battle -
Sanemi brings his blade up and used,

- Present Day (Sanemi's Battle) -
Sanemi quickly took Genya's gun from his pocket a blocked Kokushibo's attack. After blocking his attack, Sanemi then shot Kokushibo right in the face. Kokushibo was fast enough to block the pellets. Sanemi quickly stood up and thought, "Argh! I didn't even scratch him!!" Kokushibo then used,

"Moon Breathing, Third Form: Loathsome Moon, Chains!"

Kokushibo's attack also reached the ground, causing a lot of dust to fly into the air. As the dust still flew in the air, chains were seen above the cloud. Kokushibo then said, "One appears after the other...unexpectedly." The dust begins to settle with Gyomei appears and says, "The Demon Slayer Corps will never disappear...until we eradicate...all demons from this world."
