Someone who can't even use breathing shouldn't call himself a swordsman," Said Sanemi. Genya said, "But..." Sanemi turns around and walks away which startled Tanjiro. Genya yelled, "W... Wait! Sanemi! I wanted to apologize to you for a long time." Tanjiro thought, "You can do this, Genya! Don't let him win!" Sanemi raises his left arm and waves his hand while saying, "Seriously, I don't care. So get lost." Genya was almost devastated but said, "But... I... fought so hard. I even ate a demon!" This startled Sanemi, who turned to Genya while asking, "What? What did you just say? A demon?" Genya began to tremble while Tanjiro gulped in fear for him. Sanemi angrily asked, "You ate one?" Sanemi then disappeared from Genya's sight which confused him. He thought, "He disappeared?" Tanjiro knew all too well what was about to happen and wasted no time running at him. Sanemi tried to poke Genya's eyes but missed him because Tanjiro pulled Genya to the side. They two slammed into the wall and destroyed it. Sanemi barely grazed Genya and left a small cut on his right cheek. As Tanjiro and Genya broke the wall, the other players watched in horror and yelled to each other, "He's back! He's back! So cold-blooded!" "Get down! Pretend you're passed out!" Zenitsu, who finally caught up to Tanjiro's position, yelled, "Huh?" Genya yelled, "Tanjiro?" Zenitsu held his bag in fear and thought, "Are you crazy, Tanjiro?! He'll kill you! Why are you breaking the wall like that?" Zenitsu watched as Tanjiro got up and yelled, "Stop!" He also heard loud and heavy footsteps. He thought, "What is that tortured and ominous sound?!" Sanemi's hand grabbed the wall and his face came out next. Zenitsu was beyond scared and thought, "Oh no! That guy's on a rampage! Is this how he really is when he's mad?" Tanjido yelled, "What do you think you're doing? Are you trying to kill Genya?" Sanemi dropped to the ground and, with an ominous tone of voice, he said, "I won't kill him. That'd be too easy, but it's against Corps rules. I'll damage him beyond recovery instead! However... If he quits the Demon Slayer Corps right now, I'll forgive him." Tanjiro yells, "Knock it off! You don't have the right to do that! You can't force him to quit! Didn't you say earlier that you didn't have a younger brother? Then keep your mouth shut about what Genya chooses! Whether he has talent or not, he decided to risk his life to fight demons! If you say you're not his older brother, then I won't let you interfere with Genya! If not for him, we wouldn't have defeated that Upper-Rank demon! And I won't let you hurt him... beyond recovery!" Sanemi laughs and says, "Ohhh? Then first I'll hurt you beyond recovery!" Sanemi slowly walked at Tanjiro before going into a full-on dash. Tanjiro put his hand in front of his stomach and caught his fist that tried to punch it. Sanemi thought, "He's more amazing than I thought. Looks like I don't have to hold back!" Tanjiro then kicked Sanemi's head with the same force that knocked him down at the Hashira meeting. Zenitsu thought, "Woah! He got in a blow!" Tanjiro then kicked his head again and used the momentum to push himself back. He then yelled, "Zenitsu! Get Genya out of here, please!" Sanemi grunted as he got his footing and chased after Tanjiro again. Zenitsu mentally screams, "Hey! Are you some kind of idiot? Don't say my name, moron! Signal some better way!" Genya yells, "Tanjiro!" Sanemi nearly kicked Tanjiro's face but dodged instead. Sanemi said, "You got some nerve! It seems you want to die, so I'll just kill you just like you want!" Genya yelled, "Wait! Tanjiro has nothing to do with this!" Zenitsu grabs Genya's arm which caught the attention of Genya. Genya asks, "Who are you?! Let me go!" Zenitsu said, "It's good to separate people who are fighting! So let's get some distance! That guy's your older brother? He's a total freak! I put you!" Genya didn't take that insult lightly and punched Zenitsu square in the jaw. He also yelled, "Don't insult my big brother!" Zenitsu said, "Hey! I'm on your side!"

Narrated by Tanjiro: After that, it was just a big mess. Our fight lasted nearly until evening. A scolding came down from above. Training with the Wind Hashira was suspended, and I was forbidden from even approaching him. And I was unable to smooth things over with the Shinazugawa siblings.

- Time Skip -
Both Tanjiro and Zenitsu head to their next and final training location, which was the Stone Hashira. Tanjiro said, "I didn't mean for this to happen. That mark isn't clear and the training isn't bearing fruit." Zenitsu said, "Actually, it is. You stood up against the Wind Hashira, well maybe not because of that yellow-haired thing you are using right now. But it's still incredible." Tanjiro asks, "Oh really?" Zenitsu then screamed out, "Anyway, who so deep in the mountains? How stupid is the Stone Hashira to have his house out here?!" Tanjiro laughs and said, "I think we're almost there. A waterfall! Someone's there!" Under the waterfall, many slayers, including Inosuke, were all saying, "Thus have I heard! In the presence of the Buddha! When in shravasti! At Jetavana vihara!" Then the two heard a deep voice say, "If you extinguish... Your heart and mind..." The two saw the Stone Hashira with logs and rocks on his back and flames roaring under him. He adds, "...even fire is cool. Welcome to my training site." Zenitsu puked in gear while Tanjiro was wide-eyed.

Tanjiro wants to challenge the Stone Hashira without the use of his transformation one day. Perhaps he could get the chance now that he's at his training location.
