*Before I start this chapter, I want to clarify one thing, Tanjiro will remain in his SS state during all of his training to try and master it. He will also train by himself so he's not stuck holding back."

"Even though I'm a demon?"

- Back With The Training -
Tanjiro, who is transformed, was still training with Mitsuri (A/N: I started here because Tanjiro passed Uzui's training before talking to Giyu). Tanjiro was all smiles as the other trainees were all blushing in embarrassment because of the outfit they were in. Everyone danced to music and most were confused. The part that scared Tanjiro was the flexibility exercises. Mitsuri had a slayer do a full split as he screamed in pain. Tanjiro watched in horror because he was next. Mitsuri let the slayer go and turned to Tanjiro, who was ready despite knowing it'll be hell.

- Time Skip -
After training with Mitsuri, Tanjiro was sore but felt more flexible because of it. While moving to Obanai's training location, he'd often fight the air because of how good it felt. When he arrived, he was greeted by a not-so-happy Serpent Hashira. Obanai said, "Tanjiro Kamado, I've been waiting for you!" Tanjiro smiled and yells, "I'm looking forward to..." He was cut off from Obanai yelling, "Shut up or I'll kill you. I heard about you from Kanroji! She says that you had quite a lot of fun in training! (the two exchanged letters). I won't go easy on you as Kanroji did!" Tanjiro thought, "From the very start... He totally hates me!" Both entered Obanai's estate and were greeted by a bunch of people who were tied to beams or poles. Tanjiro put on a face of fear and thought, "Is this an execution chamber?!" Tanjiro then asks, "Did these people commit some sort of crime?" Obanai said, "Yes, that's right." He then looked coldly at Tanjiro and adds, "The crime of being weak! The crime of not learning! The crime of being a pain in the butt! And the crime of irritating me!" Tanjiro was unfazed but thought, "Uh-oh. This is bad. Then I'll just go all out not to show him I won't be looked down on." Tanjiro smirked (Not a kind of evil smirk or anything) and followed Obanai. After being given a T-sword, Tanjiro and Obanai started the match. Tanjiro was passing by a tied-up Corps member while thinking, "Iguro-san's attacks weave between these poor Corps Members. It's really dangerous! Because of his style... His attacks bend in strange ways!" He was almost struck in the face by Obanai's T-sword. Tanjiro did a quick flip to avoid it while Obanai thought, "Perfect." Tanjiro continues, "He has a wooden sword like me... So why does it bend so much? His attacks slither through narrow openings... just like a snake." While battling Obanai, Tanjiro heard the pleas of the trainees, which frightened him. After a day, Tanjiro was able to strike back without hitting the other Corps members or the poles and beams. Tanjiro cut part of Obanai's haori and angered him. He said, "All right! Due, you scum! And don't get too friendly with Kanroji!" Tanjifo thought, "I'm just sad that he still hates me." He said, "Th-Thank you..."

- Later -
Before going to Kyojuro's, Tanjiro decided to train by himself for a while. He placed his luggage down and got into a position. He created fake enemies in his mind and began to fight them, which was the air. He kicked a person's face and punched the other that charged at him. He kept it up till around twenty minutes but decided to stop because it kind of felt like cheating. He wiped the sweat off and picked up his baggage but was greeted by Zenitsu. Zenitsu was doing his best to power through every training because of the motivation that was given to him by Tengen's wives. Tanjiro says, "Hey, Zenitsu! Are you also headed to Rengoku-san's?" Zenitsu looked a bit beat up but lazily said, "Yeah, I'm scared to know what he'll make us do." Tanjiro begins to walk beside Zenitsu while Tanjiro asks, "Where's Inosuke up to? Wait, isn't he with the Stone Hashira?" Zenitsu put a thumbs up but Tanjiro continues, "I'm pretty sure Rengoku-san does something about confidence in strikes... Something like that. If that's true then maybe it'll help you a lot." He laughs as Zenitsu had a shadow gloom over him while saying, "Hey, that's a harsh thing to say."

- Time Skip (At Kyojuro's) -
Kyojuro took notice of Zenitsu's lack of confidence in his previous battles and decided to strengthen it further. Tanjiro watched as Kyojuro gave Zenitsu a stance to get into. Zenitsu followed along with a few mishaps here and there. Tanjiro did perfectly fine because he didn't lack any confidence in himself. After a few minutes of practicing stances and other techniques, Kyojuro said, "Ah, Kamado-shonen! I heard you defeated an Upper-Rank demon with the help of Genya, your sister, and Kanroji! That's a commendable job well done! You made it quite far into the Demon Slayer Corps! I have absolute certainty that you will defeat Muzan without any help shortly if you keep up with the training!" Tanjiro rubs the back of his neck while saying, "If I didn't accept you as my trainer, then I wouldn't have made it this far. Thank you, Rengoku-san." Kyojuro laughs and says, "Now! Let's get back to training!" He pats his back a few times with a smile on his face.

Surprisingly, after a day, Tanjiro passed on to the next Hashira, leaving Zenitsu behind. Zenitsu watches in horror as Tanjiro left for the next location.

- At Sanemi's -
Tanjiro finally started training with Sanemi, who was more serious and violent than Obanai. Sanemi and Tanjiro we're throwing blows at each other, with Tanjiro holding back of course. Sanemi focuses on the weaker trainees and then switched to Tanjiro. Tanjiro and Sanemi's training is finished for now which enabled Tanjiro to get some more infinite striking to be done.
After a few minutes, the swings he counted until now was around 578. He then continued with some more before hearing, "Sanemi! Wait!" Tanjiro stopped and thought, "Genya's voice?" He placed the T-sword down and walked in the direction of the voice. He entered Sanemi's home and saw Genya and Sanemi standing beside each other with Sanemi facing away from him. Genya said, "I want to speak with you." Sanemi's face had veins bulging out while saying, "Yiu just don't know when to give up. I don't have a little brother. If you don't knock it off, I'll kill you!"

- A Little Secret -
Tanjiro does feel a little tired here and there but he can definitely feel the difference between how much energy the transformation uses. If he keeps up with the harsh training, he predicts that he can master the transformation in a month.
