Zenitsu sleeps

"Here goes... Comin'... Through!" Said the Demon Slayer

-3rd Person POV-
The Demon Slayer launched toward the demon while it repeats, "Infuriating! Infuriating!" It struck the drum again, flipping the room to its roof. All but one, Teruko, landed safely. Tanjiro yelled, "Teruko! Hold on to the furniture!" The Demon Slayer used Tanjiro as a thing to jump off of and launched at the demon again. "That one's a demon with supernatural powers! Stop attacking it so recklessly!" Tanjiro warned. All while the Demon Slayer just laughs. "Infuriating! You damn insects infesting my house!" The demon said as it struck its drum twice. The room flips back to the normal floor. Teruko lands while the Demon Slayer steps on her making her yell in pain. The Demon Slayer laughs and says, "The room spun around! This is fun! This is fun!" Tanjiro notices what he is doing and throws him off of Teruko while saying, "Don't stomp all over her!" "Who the hell are you?" The Demon Slayer asks. Tanjiro, with veins visible, says, "What do you think you're doing, stepping on a little kid like that?" The Demon Slayer laughs, readying his blades, and says, "I like it! I like it! No human's ever sent me flying like that before!" The Demon Slayer lunged at Tanjiro slicing him. Tanjiro just jumped back and asks himself, "Why is he coming after me? Isn't he a Demon Slayer?" "My swords will hurt you. Because they're not the kind of swords you gentlemen use. The way they shred through flesh... That's what I pride myself on!" He explains. Tanjiro yells, "Knock it off! There's a demon right there!" "Like I care!" The Demon Slayer yelled while lunging at Tanjiro. "Damn insects! Begone! Die!" It said while striking the drum on his abdomen. Tanjiro and the Demon Slayer jump back to see a huge scratch mark in between them. "The floor shredded all of a sudden! At the same speed as the sound of the tsuzumi! In the shape of a beast's claws!" Tanjiro thought. The demon struck the drum, while the Demon Slayer dodges it. The room spins right, then back to left while Tanjiro lands safely with Teruko and thinks, "spinning right! Spinning left!" "Damn insects! You damn miserable insects!" The demon said while striking two drums. Tanjiro and Teruko land safely, while the Demon Slayer is kicked out of the room.

-Tanjiro's POV-
"I think I got the hang of it now," I thought. I look up at the demon, hearing its mumbles. I also hear two more tsuzumi drum beats. The room switches twice, separating us from the Demon Slayer and the tsuzumi demon. "We're in yet another room now? But what does this mean? That demon didn't strike his tsuzumi just now. I can smell multiple demons in this mansion. Is there another demon with a tsuzumi, then? Is that why," I sniff the air, also letting go of Teruko, and smell a scent, "the scent of blood," I finished thinking. Teruko whimpers which cut me off from thinking. I say to her, "It's gonna be all right, okay? Just stay behind me." She nods and says, "Okay!" I poem the shoji door looking left, then I look right to see a bloody corpse, "Another human ripped to shreds and devoured!" I thought. Teruko asks me, "Wh-What's the matter?" I say, "It's all right. There are no demons around. Come on, let's head over there. Don't look back. Look straight ahead, okay?" While walking, I smell another scent and thought, "Now there's another scent. A unique scent of blood I've never smelled before. Seems like there wasn't that much bleeding." I gesture for Teruko to stop and be quiet. I slam the shoji door open to reveal a kid in an orange kimono. He prepares to strike the drum.

-With Zenitsu (3rd Person POV)-
Zenitsu and Shoichi walk down a hallway. Zenitsu shakes and breaths uncontrollably. "Excuse me, Zenitsu-san," Shoichi, out of nowhere, says. Zenitsu screams and growls at Shoichi. Zenitsu clung to him and says, "Signal... Signal... Signal... Signal me first! If you want to talk, don't come at me all of a sudden! My heart nearly flew out of my mouth just now!" "I'm sorry," Shoichi apologized. "If that had happened, that would've made you a murderer for sure! Do you get that?" Zenitsu finished. "It's just that... You've been sweating, gasping, and shivering so horribly," Shoichi says. "What about it? Aren't I doing the best I can here?" Zenitsu yelled. "Well, forgive me for saying so, but you're making me nervous, too, so..." Shoichi says. Zenitsu yells, "Oh, no! Sorry about that! But... But... If we talk too much, those demons and all will... They might find us, right? That's why... I think it would be best to be as quiet as possible! Right?" Shoichi sees the demon emerge from under a deck, and is immediately scared. Zenitsu slowly turns around to look and sees the demon as well. The demon laughed and says, "Children. They should taste good." Zenitsu screams, "What did I tell you? There's a demon! The demon showed up, see?" Zenitsu immediately grabs Shoichi and runs down the hall while saying, "Stay away! Stay away from us! Stop that!" The demon follows suit. Zenitsu warns, "W-W-We don't taste good! I'm sure we taste awful! I'm serious, okay? This kid's all skin and bones, so he's all dry and tastes ghastly!" The demon laughs, then says, "How will I know until I have a taste?" It throws its tongue toward them. Zenitsu and Shoichi barely able to dodge it, slam into the room, the tongue hitting a vase instead. "What was that? Quick-tongued! Splitting a vase in two! That's just not possible!" Shoichi is the first to get up and says, "Zenitsu! Get up!" Zenitsu answers, "Aah! It's in my knees now! 80 percent of my fear is in my knees!" Shoichi complains, "This is no time to whine, all right?" "Just leave me behind, okay? Make a run for it!" Zenitsu says, groaning. "I can't do that!" Shoichi said. Zenitsu gasps and thought, "what a great kid! Even though I can hear the sounds coming from him are caused by fear... I gotta find a way somehow! If I don't protect him, what will become of him? Dying before he reaches double digits would be way too tragic! But I'm so horribly weak!" "Get up!" Shoichi demands. "I don't have the ability to protect him..." Zenitsu finishes. The demon enters the room with a sinister laugh, "I'm gonna guzzle your brains through your ears!" Those words finally got to Zenitsu, knocking him out due to fear. "Zenitsu! Zenit-" Shoichi was cut off from shock, seeing Zenitsu sleep. Zenitsu snores away, while Shoichi thought, "He's fast asleep." The demon laughs, "What's up with him?" Shoichi, trying his best, drags Zenitsu's sleeping body across the room, as the demon gets closer. Shoichi doesn't have any room left to get away and is not beyond scared. "Die!" The demon yelled as it launches its tongue at the two. Shoichi screams, "Zenitsu! Please wake up!" Before the demon's tongue could reach Shoichi, it was cut off. Shoichi saw Zenitsu standing in front of him in a defensive manner. He then gets into a perfect stance preparing an attack, hissing out his breath that sounds like thunder. "Wh-What's this sound? This guy... he seems completely different now!" The demon thought. "Zenitsu..." Shoichi said. Zenitsu brings his sword out while saying,

Thunder Breathing, First Form... Thunderclap and Flash.

Zenitsu unleashes his attack on the demon in the blink of an eye. Before he stops his attack, the demon's head falls to the ground. Shoichi is surprised to see Zenitsu do such a thing. Zenitsu wakes up and sees the demon's decapitated head, trying to render what had happened. He screams, "It's dead! All of a sudden, it's dead! What the hell? I can't take this! What is this? What is this?" While Shoichi is confused. The first thing that comes to Zenitsu's mind is Shoichi being the culprit to cut off the demon's head. He gasps and asks, "Shoichi-kun... Don't tell me..." he lunges at Shoichi and hugs him yelling, "Thank you! You saved my life! I shall be eternally grateful to you for this! Why didn't you tell me sooner that you were so powerful?" "Uh... what's going on?" Shoichi asks. Zenitsu stops whining and asks, "Did you say something?" "Huh? No. Uh... oh, no. Forget it. Should we go now?" Shoichi asked.

2: Inosuke felt the pressure when approaching the room Tanjiro and Kyogai were in but thought nothing of it.
