Tanjiro gasps to see such a sight. Tamayo looks away while, Nezuko continues to wobble, while Yushiro watches in horror from the scene. Susamaru chokes from the arm as it reaches for her head. She whimpers while it crushes her head, blood pouring out. Tanjiro watches in horror as he drops his sword. They both continue to watch as it finally finished.

Tamayo crouches by the pool of blood as Tanjiro asks, "Is she dead?" Tamayo answers, "She will be momentarily. That's the curse. The flesh will be destroyed by Kibutsuji's cells in her body. In general, battles between demons are futile... it's pointless. Because they can't inflict fatal wounds on each other. Only sunlight and the swords of the Demon Slayers can do so. Kibutsuji alone appears to be able to destroy a demon's cells." Yushiro ran up to Tanjiro with a cloth, while Tanjiro gasped. Yushiro covers his mouth and says, "You can't inhale Tamayo-sama's spell! It's harmful to the human body! You got that?" Tanjiro just nods. "Tanjiro-san... She is not one of the Twelve Kizuki. The Twelve Kizuki have numbers engraved on their eyeballs, but she doesn't have one. Most likely, the other demon isn't a member of the Twelve Kizuki, either. They were too weak." Tamayo says. "Hm? Too weak? At that level?" Tanjiro asked in confusion. "If Tamayo-sama says so, there's no mistake. Still, who knew there were such stupid demons? They decided to hurt Tamayo-sama. Serves them right," Yushiro said. Tamayo inserts a syringe inside Susamaru's remaining arm to retrieve some blood for her research and puts the syringe into her box, "I hope this blood will be instrumental in developing the cure. I'm going to take care of Nezuko-san. Not only did I medicate her, but she also inhaled my spell inadvertently. I'm so sorry." She starts to walk towards the house as Yushiro gasps and says, "Don't move a muscle! You're on your own now! I won't leave Tamayo-sama's side! Not even for a second!" He runs in the direction Tamayo went. Tanjiro looks in their direction when he heard a faint noise. "Ma... ri..." the body said. "Hm?" Tanjiro asked. "Mari... Meri..." it repeats. Tanjiro's looked at the temari to his left and picks it up. He placed the temari down is it rang. "Here's you Mari," Tanjiro said. "Let's play. Let's play," it spoke. "She's like a small child. Even though she's probably murdered scores of people," Tanjiro thought as the sun rose. The arm, along with the blood, began to disappear from the sun. "She was deluded into believing that she was one of the Twelve Kizuki," he removes the cloth from his mouth, "Deceived... Forced to fight... and now, killed off by Kibutsuji's curse. That's too cruel. As she dies, even her bones disappear without a trace. Is this the price you pay for killing people?" He thought to himself. He shakes in pity as he looks up in determination. Kibutsuji... This is how that man treats even those who revere him! He's a true... demon!" He finished thinking to himself.
Tanjiro walks into the broken house looking for the three. "Tamayo-san! Yushiro-san?" He called out. Yushiro called back, "Over here! Over here!" Tanjiro looks towards the cellar door and walks up to it. "Not that you need to come at all. But if you want to, get down here," Yushiro rudely finished. "Yushiro!" Tamayo yelled. "Only joking!" He shot back. "Hurry down, Tanjiro-san!" Tamayo yelled. Tanjiro went downstairs to see a walking Nezuko again and sighs in relief. "Nezuko!" He yelled as she ran to hug him. "I moved her to the basement, where sunlight won't reach her, ahead of daybreak," Tamayo said. "Hm? Nezuko?" Tanjiro asked as Nezuko ran towards Tamayo. She hugged Tamayo as Yushiro was visibly angered, while Tamayo was surprised. "Why, you! Step away from Tamayo-sama! That's rude!" Yushiro yelled. "Stop it, Yushiro. I don't mind at all," Tamayo said. "Yes, ma'am!" "You have such a kind heart, Tamayo-sama. You're too beautiful to believe!" Nezuko looked up and patted Yushiro's head as he says, "Cut... that... out!" Tamayo says, "Nezuko-san has been acting in this way since she's awoke. Do you think she's all right?" Tanjiro says, "There's nothing to worry about. She's fine. She probably thinks you're a part of our family." "Cut it out!" Yushiro said again. "Family? But I thought the hypnosis placed on Nezuko-san was only made humans look like family. Yushiro and I are demons." Tamayo said. "Cut it out!" Yushiro said as he kept swatting Nezuko's hands away. "But Nezuko has perceived you two as humans. That's why she tried to protect you." Nezuko finally stops and continues to hug Tamayo. "At first, I didn't like the idea of putting Nezuko under hypnosis, so I'm glad to see that she seems to still have a will of her own-" He was cut off as Tamayo teared up. "I-I'm so sorry! Nezuko! N-Nezuko! S-Step away from her! You're being rude!" He yelled. Tamayo sobs as she says, "Thank you... Nezuko-san! Thank you!" Both Tanjiro and Yushiro's expressions soften at the sight.

-Brief Memory of Yushiro's-
Tamayo sits by a futon a sick Yushiro resides in as she asks, "Do you still wish to live? Do you still wish to live even if you're no longer human? If this goes on, you will most likely succumb to your illness. However, to stop being a human means, even more, pain and grief. Do you still wish to live?"

-Present (Still 3rd POV)-
"Yushiro and I will leave this region," Tamayo spoke. "Huh?" Tanjiro said. Tamayo adds, "We've gotten too close to Kibutsuji. We will conceal our whereabouts or it'll be too dangerous for us. Not to mention, even if I think I've concealed my identity, when I interact with humans as a doctor, people sometimes see through me as a demon. The young and the elderly are particularly perceptive. Tanjiro-san..." "Yes?" Tanjiro asked. "Would you like us to take Nezuko-san in?" She asked as Yushiro is scared at the suggestion. "Huh?" "I can't give you an absolute guarantee that she'll be safe, but I believe it will be less dangerous than taking her into battle," she finished. "That might be true. She's right. It would be better for Nezuko to be in their care," Tanjiro thought hard while looking down. Nezuko grabs his hand and looks at him. He looks back and makes his decision, "Tamayo-san, thank you so much for your concern. But... Nezuko and I are staying together. We're not going to split up."

"Never again."

"Very well. In that case, I wish you long-lasting good fortune in battle." She says. Yushiro looks away and says, "Goodbye, then. We'll be leaving after we erase all traces of ourselves. You two get going now!" "Right! Tamayo-san, Yushiro-san, we wish you well! Let's go, Nezuko," Tanjiro says as Nezuko dashes off upstairs. "Hey! Don't go rushing off like that!" He says as he chases her. "Tanjiro!" Yushiro blurted. Tanjiro stops, "Eh?" He asked. "Your little sister... is beautiful," Yushiro admits. Both Tamayo and Tanjiro smile at his remark.
"south-southeast! South-southeast! South-southeast! Your next location is south-southeast," Tanjiro's crow cawed. Tanjiro answered, "I heard you! I heard, so give me a break and quiet down! I'm begging you! I got the message, so please!"

"Please!"
A scream interrupted Tanjiro and the crow's argument. Both Tanjiro and his crow are startled at the scream down the road. Tanjiro sees the boy from Final Selection, but doesn't recognize him, clinging to a girl begging, "Please! Please! Please! Please marry me! I could die any day, you know! That's why I want you to marry me! So please! Please, I'm begging you!" The boy screamed. "Wh- What's up with that? What on earth?" Tanjiro asked.

-A Little Secret-
Throughout his entire life, Goku receives many strange dreams but after training with Urokodaki, the occurrences of the dreams shot higher. There was one where he was in the same exact position but his younger brother Haruka was alive but his name was not Haruka, it was Tanjiro.
To Tanjiro (Kakarot), that particular dream felt too real, as if it was actually happening. He doesn't speak of this to anyone because they're just dreams...
