Wow, hindi ko akalaing makakapagsulat ako ng sequel ng The Katipunero and I.
Ang totoo niyan, wala talaga akong balak gawan iyon ng sequel. Pero ang daming readers na nabitin, and ayan, pinagbigyan ko na kayo hehe. Oo nga noh, bitin nga ang TKAI at ang daming unanswered questions.
I hope you liked this sequel story of EJ and Hannah. Closed book na sila, at wala na akong balak gawan ng book 3, 4, and so on. Ayokong gawing ala-Cardo Dalisay sa haba ng story hehe.

Gusto ko rin makawala sa shadow ng TKAI at makilala rin for other stories. Though I'm really thankful that the readers loved it so much, kahit cringey na ang TKAI for me hehe. Hindi ito kasing-bongga ng mga ibang stories dito na 1 million reads and up, but if TKAI made you smile, inspired you to live well and be a good person, if it gets you through dark days and sad times, I think the story already did its job of reaching the right readers.
Kahit na childish ang tingin ko sa TKAI, I look back on it with fondness. I don't regret writing it, dahil masaya ako nang sinulat ko ito, at never ko inexpect na malayo ang mararating nito.
Biruin niyo, eight years bago nagkaroon ng sequel? Kayo ang dahilan kaya ko ito sinulat.
