--Tessa's POV-
I woke up with a blinding headache, and even though I hadn't had anything to drink I still felt sick to my stomach. I sat up and leaned out a little, peering up to see if Sammi was still asleep. And of course, she was. I yawned and rolledout of bed. I could feel huge knot in my hair, so I grabbed my sundree bag and headed into the bathroom. I looked at myself in the mirror. Purple bags had moved in under my swollen eyes, and my hair looked like I'd blow dried it for too long. I washed my face, put on a little bit of makeup, and brushed my hair until I looked decent enough to make an apperance for breakfast.
I could hear conversation from the kitchen, and although I knew it was a childish thing to do I stopped and listened for a moment."She's not gonna be able to handle a tour party, Ethan." Andy's deep voice said sternly.
"I'm telling you, Andy, fans want to hear about the party. She should go."
"No." Andy said firmly. "She can't go. She won't even want to."
"It doesn't matter where she wants to go, it matters where we need her. She should report on this party."
Andy sighed, and I slipped back into my room. I should wait for things to cool down out there before I go out. And I can too go to the party, why does Andy think I'm so weak?! I'll show him, I'll go to the party. I don't care what's there, I'm going and I'm proving him wrong.--Andy's POV-
I sighed and sat back down. I knew Tess didn't want to go to today's party after last night, so I had that to back me up. "I'm gonna go wake everyone up, you guys have an interview and a signing at 12." Ethan said. "Okay." I responded, a hint of defeat in my voice. I might as well get ready awhile before the bathroom becomes a mosh pit of people trying to straighten their hair.
I headed to our bathroom and jumped as a fully dressed Tessa bumped into me. "Oh hey Tess. Why are you up so early?" I asked her, hoping she hadn't heard that conversation. The last thing we needed was her trying to prove a point to me, but I had a feeling she was onto me. "I-I couldn't sleep." Tessa said, looking up at me. Tessa wasn't incredibly short (I'm tired of people writing fanfictions about short girls, tall girls want love too!) but she wasn't as tall as me. "Oh. Well, we have pre-tour stuff today, so maybe you and Sammi can go out for coffee or something." I smiled at her, and she opened her mouth to say something, but closed it. "Okay, that sounds good. Uhm, good luck." She smiled, and gave me a sudden and shy kiss on the cheek. She blushed and hurried back to her bunk. Did that just happen? I smiled to myself a little and headed back to the bathroom. Tessa was warming up to me a lot, but she was still shy around the others. Escpecially Ashley, which was strange. I knew Jake was being effected by all of this, he still carried around a lot of guilt. And so did I. I never wanted to hurt her, I love her. But even I, who had once protected her from razors in her skin, now seemed to be the very thing cutting her open.
--Flashback-
Tessa and I had gone for a hike and ended up in a little field not far from the trail. "Look at this one!" She said, pointing at a small yellow wildflower. We were both sitting down. "Isn't it pretty?" She looked back at me, her hazel eyes shining. "Yeah." I said, smiling at the expression on her face. She flopped backwards, laying on her back. "I love you." She said, staring up at the sky. I layed down next to her. "I love you too." I said, playing with a piece of her long brown hair. "Forever?" She asked, tuning her head to look at me. "Forever." I smiled, kissing her softly.
--End-
"Andy, wake the fuck up. I need to piss." Ashley said, waking me from my thoughts. I then remembered I was standing in the very small bathroom taking up most of the space. "Sorry." I mumbled, moving so he could get to the toilet. I directed my attention back to my warpaint.
--Tessa's POV-
I heard Sammi rolling around in the bunk above me and set down my book. "Morning..." She said in a very hungover voice. "Morning." I responded, a little humor in my voice. She groaned and rubbed her head. "Hungover?" I asked. "Mhm." She groaned. "I have stuff that can help." I said. "Thanks...I thought you didn't drink?" She asked, stepping down from her top bunk. I grabbed a cup of orange juice and a little blue and white pill. "I don't, but I have, uhm, expirience with people who...do. A lot." I said, trying to avoidanything too personal. "Oh." Sammi said, swallowing the pill. "So I was thinking since the boys are gonna be out almost all day,we could do something?" I asked fairly shyly. "Yeah sure! The last writer we had was a total bitch. I'm glad we can hang out and get away from this shitty bus." Sammi responded. "Same. While you get ready, I'll scope out somewhere for us to eat." I said.
"Okay." Sammi called from the bathroom.--Andy's POV-
We arrived at the station just in time for our interview to start. The interview would be on the radio, but I assumed it'd be up in video form too.
"On air in 7, 6, 5, 4, 3,2, and," The interview gave us a thumbs up. "Hello, this is Rock Nation and we're here with the Black Veil Brides." He introduced. "I'm Andy." I said. "I'm Ashley." "CC." "Jake." "And I'm Jinxx" The others chimed. "So, you guys are just starting on Warped Tour, right?" He asked. "Yeah. It's our 5th time." I said. "That's great. What is your favorite part of going on Tour?" He continued. I laughed a little. "Tour is really awesome all around. Meeting fans, and just, just being around ours fans all the time is a really fun expirience." I said. "Yeah, and the memories and fun stuff you do on the tour bus, y'know like, tour pranks and inside jokes and stuff, that's always fun." Ashley contributed. "Yeah. I don't know how great one shower and five grown men go together!" The interviewer joked and we all faked a laugh. "Yeah, there's always a downside." I joked. We all cut the fake laugh and he proceeded to ask us questions. "So you guys have a record coming out in late October, how is that going to coordinate with, uhm, being on tour?" I looked at the others, hoping they would say something, but when none of them did I took the spot again. "It will be, uh, released on the 28th of October which is actually towards the end of our tour, so we will actually pick up and have another tour which is going to be extremely exhausting but we'll be playing new things and exploring our new music, so we're prety excited." I said, watching the interviewer nod. "That's gonna be pretty tiring, dunno if I'd want to do that!" We all laughed. "We love touring, we really do, so it won't be too bad." I smiled.
--Tessa's POV-
"So, what was going on between you and Andy last night?'' Sammi said, lowering and raising her eyebrowns mischeviously. I blushed. "Nothing, he's just really protective, I guess. It's not anything." I assured. She laughed. "Suuuree. Just keep thinking that. He really likes you." She said, sipping her coffee. "Nah. It's just brotherly love." I smiled, my voice a little unsure. Sammi's food arrived a moment before mine, and that changed the topic. "So this party tonight, you going?" Sammi asked. I remembered Andy's earlier conversation and firmly said, "Yeah, of course! Sounds like fun." Actualy, it sounded horrible, but I was going to prove to Andy I didn't need his help. "Me too. I love them, I went last yar and it was crazy. I know you don't drink but they have the best drinks ever." Sammi said. I laughed. "Well good, you can drink!" I joked. Shelaughed, atking a bite of her eggs. "They'll win you over." She laughed, and we ate the rest in silence.
