--Tessa's POV--
I still had to work today, which sort of brought down my mood. Throwing on a thin line of eyeliner, I changed into my work clothes. "Michael!" I called from my room. "Are you almost ready?" I heard rushed footsteps from downstairs. "Yeah!" Michael responded. I headed downstairs and grabbed the car keys. "C'mon babe, you have to go to day camp." As much as I hate to admit it, it's hard raising Michael. I have to work and get money, but I also have to spend time with him and make sure he doesn't grow up alone. Michael rinsed off his cereal bowl and joined me outside. He hopped into his carseat, waiting for me to strap him in. I figured I'd explain the whole tour thing to him today.
I sat down in front of the steering wheel, jamming the keys into the car. It was now or never. "Michael, in two weeks I'm gonna have to go to mommy camp, okay? Just like you go to day camp, but my camp is gonna be for a long time, so you're going to go visit Aunt Paula and Uncle Hendrick." I said. I probably could have been a little less blunt, but he had to know. "How long?" Michael asked, concern in his voice. "5 months, but you're gonna have such a good time at Uncle Hendrick's you won't even notice! Uncle Hendrick has horses, and cows, and chicken, how cool is that?" Michael furrowed his brow. "Can I stay with Andy instead?" Michael asked. I frowned a little and turned onto the exit lane. "Andy's coming with me, baby, but you will have such a great time there. I promise." I heaved a sigh. There was silence before Michael asked, "Does Uncle Hendrick ride the horses?" I smiled, knowing he was warming up to the idea slightly. "Yeah, maybe he'll teach you!" I pulled in front of the day camp and got out of the car. "Does he have sheep?" I pushed the button on the other side of Michael's seat and his seat belt flew back. "Yeah, and he sheers them and makes big wooly blankets." I said. Michael was silent after that. He hopped out of the car and headed to where his teacher stood by the gate. "Bye hun! Have a good day!" I called. "Bye mom!" I couldn't help but smile a little. Michael was always so good, so cooperative. Always looking to understand. Just like his father.
"Morning, Celia." I said, passing our receptionist in my way to my office. "Good morning Tessa. I heard Margo wanted to talk to you about the press job you just got. She's not here yet though." Celia said cheerily. I nodded. "Okay. I expected she'd want to talk to me about it. Can you call me when she gets here?" I asked, grabbing a cup of coffee from our coffee machine. "Yeah." Celia responded, getting back to her typing. "Great. Thank's Ceel!" I smiled, walking back to my office. I figured I should look over my three new paperwork stacks; The contract for the magazine I was writing for, the contract for working with Black Veil Brides, and the information about the tour.

Blah blah blah blah....
Same stuff as usual. I skimmed it to make sure, but nothing seemed out of the ordinary. I spent most of the day signing away at contracts. Finally, it boiled down to the last paper: the information about the tour. I pulled out the neon pink paper and looked at it, coming to a slight realization. I was going to leave my son for five months to live with 5 men I barely new, most of which I was afraid of, and report for a magazine. All for 1k.
I was going crazy.Bluin, Tessa: Tour Arragements
My eyes skimmed the title. It was nothing professional, it was probably typed up last second.
Hello Tessa! I was going to e-mail you this, but
it was easier to do this. Since you will be reporting
on life inside the tour, we will be squeezing an
extra bunk bed for you on the bus. It is secluded in
a separate part of the bus, and you have your own
bathroom. Sammie Doll will be sharing this portion of
the bus with you. Bring your own sheets, blankets,
sundries, and pillows. As for meals, the boys
go out quite often and will probably bring something
back. Please read the contract for more information on
business matters.

I sat, conflicted. How did I feel about staying on the bus with them? I didn't know who the girl was, but I was a little thankful she would be there. I hope she's not a total bitch. Setting the paper's down, I jumped as my office phone rang madly. "Tessa Bluins, who's calling?" I said in a business tone. "Hi Tessa! It's Celia, Margo is in her office and ready to see you." Celia's sweet voice said. "Okay, great! Thank you Ceel. Bye." I hung up the phone and got up. This was going to be a long talk.
"Margo? Hi." I said, gently pushing the door to Margo's office open. Margo looked up at me. "Tessa! Come sit. I heard about the deal you got with Rock News. He offered you 1k!" Margo exclaimed. I nodded, smiling. "Yeah. It's gonna be a lot of work!" I laughed. Margo nodded. "What made you change your mind about the band?" Margo asked, remembering my illiterate pleas to be dropped from their case. "Uhm, I didn't really change my mind...I just saw money and a good opportunity." Margo nodded, although she didn't seem to believe me. "Well, I just wanted to give you some old Rock News magazines so you could get a feel for it. Don't wanna keep you long." Margo smiled, pulling a stack of old magazines from under her desk. "oh thank you Margo! These will definitely help." I said, accepting the magazines. "It's no problem, dear. If you ever need anything, I'm here." She said, smiling wryly. "Thank you, Margo." I said, getting up. "Alright! Get to writing!" Margo ordered jokingly. "Yes sir!" I playfully salluted her, heading out of the office.
