--Tessa's POV-

When I awoke the next morning, Andy was gone. I knew how busy he was with the first days of tour, but something inside me still churned at the thought of last night meaning nothing at all. I shook away the bothersome worries, but I could still hear Jinxx's voice in my head.

'Stupid, stupid, stupid! You fell for him, you forgave him just like that!' The voice pushed on.

Vic had spent the night with some girl, so he was nowhere to be seen. Jaime, Tony, and Mike were still sleeping. I decided I might as well get that laundry done since I don't have any shows or anything I really need to see. Andy would probably be less than thrilled to find out I've been doing the laundry (and pretty much all the other cleaning) around the bus. I just feel like I need to thank them for letting me in with them. I got pretty good at housework after spending all that time cleaning up Andy's parties, but I don't mind. It's sort of relaxing when it's in small quantities.

I hauled the heavy laundry bag into the back of my rental car and drove off to the Laundromat a couple blocks from the lot. It was pretty convenient, but I'm sure none of the bands actually wash their clothes. I made it in point to do the Black Veil Brides cleaning too, but I don't know how welcome I am on their bus with both Jinxx and Andy there. I frowned at the thought of Jinxx. He had changed so much. The only one I was hoping would stay how he was Jinxx, and he changed. He got so much more...obsessive. I parked in the drive way and unloaded the laundry. The nice thing was that I didn't have to separate lights from darks, because there were no lights. I threw the first load in the washer and slipped a few coins to the slit. With a loud grumble, the washing machine began to toss and tumble the clothing. I thought about last night. Was I wrong? Why is everything getting so complicated? Why can't I just have declined the tour deal and kept my plain little life going just as it was? Inside, I knew there was no chance of me ever doing that. I still loved Andy, and there was no cheating it. No matter how many times I thought about the past, what he did to me, it doesn't faze me. How can I love him after all this? The washing machine bleated and I began to unload it, folding all the clothes neatly and putting them in one of the baskets they had. Jinxx was right, I'm so stupid. I fell in love with him and it's all going to be my fault eventually. I tried to focus on something else, but the topic kept coming back to my mind. I continued to laundry, still pondering my own stupidity and questioning Andy's feelings for me.

--Andy's POV-

I sat in the interview, bored by the question's I'd already answered in at least 5 other interviews. My mind drifted to Tessa. I have to stop denying myself from her. She wants me back, but I can't help feeling she's going to get hurt. I'm going to hurt her, or rush her, or scare her. The interviewer awoke me from my trance with yet another boring question. "What makes this next album different from the ones you've previously released?" He asked. "Well, I think we're bringing back some of our old stuff, in a way. It's definitely heavier, and maybe shorter guitar solos. We're also incorporating some of Jinxx's violin still, but we're keeping it electric." I said. The interview nodded and proceeded to ask me the same boring-ass questions. I answered each one fully and purposely, trying to eliminate any side questions that might bubble off from unclear or vague answers. When the interview was finally finished, I thanked the studio for having us and headed out. I had a signing at 3:45 and a quick meeting at 6, and it was 1:15 now. That gave me time to relax on the bus, but I instead called Tessa. I should check on her and make sure she's...stable. I pulled out my cell phone and hopped in the car, Tessa's number on speed dial. I hadn't actually gotten her number from her, I actually found it out through her phone when I...well, when I went on it to see if she had Jinxx's number. It's not like I was snooping through anything personal, I just wanted to make sure there was nothing...going on. I slid the green call button across the screen and held it to my ear, pulling onto the freeway exit and back into the small town that eventually fed into the lot. "Hello?" Tessa's voice sounded into the phone. I jumped slightly. She sounded different on the phone. I smiled to myself and said, "Hey Tess,it's Andy." I said, wiping the smirk off my lips. "Oh, hey Andy! How'd you get my number?" She asked. "You, er, gave it to me. Remember?" I lied through my teeth. "Oh, okay! Is everything okay?" She asked. I could picture her bting her lip lke she always does. "Yeah, I was just wondering if you were in the bus so I could stop by and spend some time with you. I have about two hours before I need to leave for a signing." I said, turning into the town. "Yeah, I'm in the Pierce the Veil bus, doing,uhm...laundry." She said. "Laundry?" I questioned. "Yeah." She said sheepishly. I furrowed my brow. "You're a writer, not a maid. You shouldn't be doing all their cleaning, Tess. Are they making you?" I asked protectively. "What? No! Of course not. I just wanted to give something in return for them taking me in like that." She said. 'Taking you in. I sighed. "We'll talk when I get there. Bye Tess." I said. "Bye Andy." She said, and I hung up. I was just pulling into the lot, perfect timing. Should I tell her about Jinxx? I probably should. I shouldn't keep secrets like that, it'l only ruin what we have. But it doesn't matter much. She's safer in Vic's bus anyways, much less drama there. I won't tell her. I approached the white and green bus with the Pierce the Veil logo in splattered green letters and lightly knocked on the door. "Come in!" Tessa's voice called. I opened the door and smiled, covered in small snow flurries. "Hey." I said, "Hey." She smiled back, folding a bit of laundry. She was up to her neck in clothes to fold. "You don't have to do that, babe." I said. She didn't respond. "You're a writer, you're here to write. Not do chores all day lie fucking Cinderella." I said calmly. She laughed a little. "I don't mind it." I dusted off my jacket and sat down next to her, not wrapping my arm around her yet. I knew I'd have to ease into physicial contact, she was still shaky about that. "How were the interviews today?" She asked, throwing a black muscle shirt into the pile of folded laundry. "Good." I said without much of a thought. "What've you been doing? Please tell me you haven't been doing this all day." I said, a small glimmer of hope in my eyes. "I have, but it's not that bad babe. I promise I'm just doing it by choice. It's not like they've got a slave house or anything, you worry too much!" She said, pushing me playfully. "Says the one who-" I stopped myself, and neither of us spoke. "Sorry."I mumbled. "'s okay." She said, giving me a wry smile and continuing to fold. I snaked my arm around her waist and pulled her back onto my lap, making her drop her shirt. "Andy..." She sighed. "Tessa." I replied jokingly, making her smile. I tucked a piece of hair behind her ear and looked into her beautiful hazel eyes. She blushed but didn't break the eye contact. "You know..." I began, moving her so her head rested on my shoulder. "Someone on this bus is very pretty and it's not me." I said, my hand playing with the loose strands of her hair. "Is it Vic?" She asked, looking up at me with asmirk. "Yeah! How'd you know?" I joked. She laughed and scooted back to her laundry spot, making me frown. "Are you gonna sleep here tonight?" She asked. "Not tonight, babe. I want you to get a good night's sleep, I take up most of the bed." I said. She nodded. "Okay." Suddenly, we heard thedoor open and Vic's loud, "Heyyybrochachos!" Sounded throughout the bus. The others followed close behind him. I looked over at Tessa, an expression on her face I couldn't read. "Oh hey Andy."Vic said, a blush spreading over his cheeks at his own weirdness. "Hey man, sorry to just show up here." I said, giving him an awkward, sideways high five. For some reason, I found myself getting protective over Tessa. My arm snaked around her waist and I pulled her closer to me. She tossed the shirt she was folding into the bin and looked at me dissapointedly. "Andy, I'm working..." She scolded. Vic looked at the two of us, a thoughtful look on his face. "But Tesssaaa...." I whined with a smirk on my face as I pulled her back towards me. "ButAnnddyyy..." She returned, wriggling free. Vic's gaze did notfaulter, and I found myself getting more and more caught up in the idea of losing Tessa to whatever Jinxx had going on here.Vic had seen Tessa and I together, what if he told Jinxx? What if they had some sort of....I shook away the thought. I was just being paranoid.

I stayed 30 minutes after Vic arrived before heading out, a feeling in my gut I couldn't explain. "Will you walk me out?"I asked Tessa, my voice laced with worry. "Mhm." She said with a light smil as she layed her laundry down. We walked outside and she looked at me with...with that face, that thing she does where she's beautiful without even trying. I pulled her into an unsuspected hug and sighed into her neck. It was a rare side of me, but as soon as the news reached Jinxx that Tess and I were somewhat dating, I knew he'd 'relocate' her. "What's wrong?" She asked, pulling away and looking up at me. "Nothing, babe."I said, faking a smile. "Here, I want you to have my numberincase you need me." I said, handing her my phone. "Just enter your number and I'll text you saying something." I said with a smile. She nodded and gently pressed in her phone number. "Is everything okay? You're acting weird..." She said, her voice a little shaky. "Everything's fine. I just... I don't ever want to lose you again." I said. Her hazel eyes shined in the bright sunlight, and she wrapped her arms around my chest. "You won't."
