--Tessa's POV-
It was getting late, going on 6:00. I sat, curled in a ball and writing about the experience of the tour. I was well ahead on my writing, which would make everything easier for the editors since I'd have spare time to edit my own writing. I bit my lip and reread the sentence I had just written, in doubt of whether I should use the word, 'Stressful' or 'Tiring.' I finally decided to use Stressful and was just about to continue reading when I heard the doo creak open. I looked up, expecting to see Andy. Instead, a very tired-looking Jinxx popped his head in. "Tessa, hi..." He said awkwardly. "Hey Jinxx." I smiled wryly as he came to sit next to me. "What're you writing?" He asked. The tension in the air was so thick you could slice it with a knife. "The article for the newspaper." I said, feeling myself get uncomfortable and I didn't know why. Why /am/ I uncomfortable after all? I've always been close to Jinxx; he was like a brother to me. But as soon as someone offered me their emotions...I just quit. "Cool...About, uhm, what I said over the phone." Jinxx began to say, clearly sensitive and hurt on the topic. I cut him off. "Jinxx, I love you like a brother, but I'm with Andy and you have Sammi. I'm sorry, but that's just...I can't..." I said, almost breaking down at the end. "No, it's---it's okay...Are you crying? Don't cry, I didn't...I just wanted to clear things up. I've been emotionally lately...Sammi and I aren't doing well." Jinxx said quickly. I wasn't exactly crying, but there were definitely tears on their way. I sniffled and looked up at him. "Wh-What's wrong with you and Sammi?" Sammi always seemed so cheery and nice, and they had a great relationship from what I saw. Suddenly, the door to the bus opened and we were greeted by a rush of cold air and the other five. "Hey guys!" Andy said dully, obviously tired. I got up to give him a hug. The scent of his warpaint mixed with sweat creating familiar scent for me, one that was all too well associated with pain.
--Flashback-
As he leaned over me, I could smell the tar on his skin. He looked down at me with his dark blue eyes that almost seemed black. He grabbed my wrist, digging his nails into my skin and drawing blood. "Do not speak to me like that." He growled in a low voice. I nodded, shaking.
--End-
I zoned out for a minute, but shook the thought from my head. Nobody here is going to hurt me. "Tess?" Andy asked, looking down at me. "You okay?" I quickly nodded and smiled, looking back up at him. "How was the concert?" I asked, following him into the bunk room. "Tiring...Good though." He said, watching me curiously. He turned my face to look at him with his hands, leaving his thumbs just under my eyes. "Are you sure you're alright?" He asked, looking at me with his soft blue eyes. "I-I want to...Now." I said. He smiled to himself, chuckling lightly. "That's what you were so worried about?" He asked. I bit my lip and nodded. I know that once I've done that, I won't be afraid of him anymore. I just have to learn to trust again. "I'm getting in the shower. I'll come sleep with you, so don't freak out when I come in your room." I nodded, upset slightly that he hadn't mentioned anything about what I'd said. I knew he was worried about hurting me, but I'm ready this time. I plopped myself down onto my bunk and sighed, listening to the sound of the shower. I twiddled my thumbs, wondering what was happeningwith Jinxx and Sammi. I thought about Vic, and how shitty this all was. Then, a thought crossed my mind I hadn't thought about before.
Maybe Andy didn't even want to have sex with me.
Was I that bad the first time? I heard as the shower stopped running and footsteps shuffled around from the bathroom. Was I too thin? I'd always been a little underweight, like a stick sort of. Sticks are not attractive. Sticks are awkward. He probably wants someone more experienced, not me. Suddenly, I saw a figure appear in the doorway. "Babe, why aren't you asleep?" A wet-haired Andy asked. I stared at him for a moment. He had on nothing but a dangerously-low-placed bath towel, revealing a V-shaped crevice atop his abs. His wet hair dripped down his broad shoulders, and I could feel his smirking blue eyes on me. "Hello? Tess?" He asked, waving at me. "Oh, yeah...sorry." I giggled, blushing. He walked over to me and gave me a light kiss on the forehead. "Andy, where's Sammi?" I asked curiously, watching him plug in his phone. It was a new feeling, finding someone this attractive. Or at least one I hadn't felt in a while. "She and Jinxx...aren't doing well. We're trying not to talk about it."Andy said shortly, a grim veil under his voice. I nodded. "So...you gonna sleep with that towel on?" I asked mischievously. He shot me a playful glare and sat next to me on the bed. "I told you already, Tess, I'm not used to being gentle and the last thing I want to do is hurt you. You even said yourself there's a spot that hurts when you touch it." He said. I frowned. "Is something wrong with me?" I asked. He looked over at me, and to my surprise, he laughed. "Tessa, there is nothing wrong with you. I just can't control myself you're so beautiful." He smiled, leaning over and kissing me. I kissed back, and to my surprise he deepened the kiss slightly and leaned over me until I was on my back and he was on top of me. I wrapped my arms around his back and felt as his towel dropped, but he was still covered by a pair of boxers. Dammit. His wet hair dripped water down my neck, and he bit my collarbone gently. He began to grind against me, his erection growing. Suddenly, as his own hips bucked onto my womanhood, a sharp pain spiraled up my stomach. I gasped and he immediately stopped. "See?" He sighed, out of breath. I looked at his erection, trying not to be obvious. How did that fit the first time? Is it even possible? I nodded, tearing a little. I'll never be what he deserves, I'm always going to be broken. Seeing my tears, he placed a loving hand on my cheek. "We'll try again tomorrow, babe. It's not your fault." Andy said. I nodded and he kissed me, rolling over on his back.
--Andy's POV-
It was 8:00 in the morning, and I was feeling the few drinks I'd had in the pit of my stomach. I hadn't been drunk, but I'd tried a new kind of vodka that didn't agree with my stomach. Tessa was sleeping peacefully in the bed, making me smile. Her brown hair fell over her bare shoulders, like eye candy. I shuddered at the sight, pushing down another erection.
--Vic's POV-
I sighed slowly, wondering if Tessa was going to come back to the bus or just leave all her stuff here. I really did like her, but I shouldn't do that. It was a shitty move, to steal someone else's girl. But what can I say, Tessa is pretty hot. We had a party today, I thought it'd be nice to invite her if she wants to come. I scrolled through the contacts on my phone, a melancholy feeling covering the grey skies today. My eyes finally rested upon her contact, and I pressed down on it firmly. It rang a few times before she picked up/ "Vic? Hi!" She said, her voice sounding so different over the phone. "Yeah! Are you doing anythingtoday?" I asked bluntly. "Uhmmm..." She thought for a minute, and I heard her ask Andy in the background before responding, "No, why?" She asked. "There's this party at 5, you wannacome? It's nothing big." I asked, hoping I didn't sound like a classic highschool boy. Then again, this was a very high-school boy move. Silence. Silence. Silence. "Uhh...Sure. Meet you at your bus at 4:30?" She asked, her voice a little hesitant.
--Andy's POV-
"Meet you at your bus at 4:30?" Tessa asked. She sounded a little nervous. I listened in carefully. The person on the other line said a few other things and Tessa laughed and responded before hanging up with a goodbye. "Who was that? Where are you going?" I asked like a protective father. "A party, I guess..." She said nervously. I clenched my jaw. "Who invited you?" My voice came out unintentionally stern, but I couldn't deal with her getting hurt again. "Vic, from Pierce the Veil." She said simply. "I'm coming with you." I said matter-o-factly. "O-Okay." She stuttered, laughing slightly. "It's at 5." She continued, something behind her voice I couldn't read. "Great. We'll be there." I winked at her, making her giggle girlishly. This better not be Jinxx.
