--Andy's POV--

I stood outside the tour bus, waiting for Tessa. Don't get me wrong, I love parties almost as much as Ash, but my role tonight is to protect Tessa. Nothing could go wrong if I was next to her the whole time. She was in the bathroom getting ready while I, surprisingly, was having a smoke. It was good to have Tess back, even if she wasn't sleeping here. I missed her smile, her laugh, and the way her chocolate brown hair fell just below her shoulders. I love how she doesn't quite fit with me, with her being so normal and...non-rockish. She's not the girl anyone else would see me with, but I love her more than anything else. If I lose her, I'll lose myself too. Blowing out a puff of smoke, I watched a figure appear from behind a bus in the distance. The figure neared, and I assumed it was Vic coming to pick us up. I stomped out the cigarette and popped a piece of gum in my mouth to take away the awful nicotine breath. The person was indeed Vic. He gave me a friendly half-wave and smiled, jogging over. "Hey Andy. Is Tess ready?" He asked, the left side of his black sunglasses shining in the fading light.

--Vic's POV-

"Hey Andy, is Tess ready?" I asked Andy, who was proppedcooly against the side of his bus. A bit like a guard dog, if you ask me. He was so protective of Tessa, too much almost. Like he expected her to get hurt if a fly landed on her. "I'll get her." He said in almost a snarl. He opened the door and called for Tessa, whom he called 'Tess.' I heard Tessa's sweet voice reply, 'Coming!' Andy closed the door and we were left alone, two wolves holding back snarls and growls. I don't know Tessa well, but the fact she agreed to go to a party with me makes me wonder if she's a one-night-stand kind of girl. Maybe she'd be willing to. That's what parties are about, really. Hook-ups, beer, and music. If I give her enough of the second one, I could probably get the first one.

I quickly shook the thoughts from my head. She has a boyfriend and deserves to be treated respectfully.
The door to the bus slowly cracked open, and Tessa peered out looking as gorgeous as usual. "Hey Vic." She said with a polite smile. She stepped out of the bus in a very, almost too short dress and black flats that would probably give her a blister. "Hey Tess." I smiled, earning a glare from Andy at the use of her nickname. "Don't call her that." He snapped. Tessa looked at the two of us, confused. "What was that about?" She asked quietly. I shook my head and smiled. "You look lovely. Ready to go?" I asked her, my eyes unintentionally drifting down to her breasts.

Where is your self control tonight, Vic? Tessa is taken, stop with your man-urges...

She nodded and took Andy's hand, loading up into his car. "You lead the way, Andy's going to drive me there. Just drive slowly so we can follow you." She said. Great, so the human watch-dog is coming. He needs to chill out. I may look at her like I'm going to fuck her brains out, but I have my self control. She's taken. "Okay." I said with a wink, walking over to my car.

--Tessa's POV-

The car roared to life and Andy began to drive, a stern look on his face. "What's wrong, babe?" I asked. "Nothing." He said, but his irritated tone gave him away. "Andy..." I repeated. Hesighedfrusteratedly. "I don't like the way Vic looks at you. Stay with me at the party." He said. I threw my head back in laughter. "Well aren't you just Mr. Over-Protective. Vic is just a friend." I calmed. He still had an angry look on his face. "Andy-I promise. I would never do anyth-" He cut me off. "It's not you Tessa, it's him! One-Night-Stands are normal at parties! He looks like he's...Just forget it. Don't do anything stupid." He scolded, making me flinch slightly. The rest of the car ride was silent, but thoughts of the last party crept up my neck. I should listen to Andy, he was right last time. He knows a lot about the people here. I should take his advice and be careful.

He parked down the street and I opened my door, but he stopped me and held out a blue stick of gum wrapped in shiny foil. "If anyone offers you a drink, tell them you have gum and you don't want to spit it out." I nodded slowly and accepted the minty chew, unwrapping it and popping it in my mouth. Vic jogged over from his car, his hands in the pocket of his sweater. It was getting cold. I felt as Andy's arm snaked around my waist, gripping me slightly at my hips. "Alright-y then. Let's get itgoin.'" Vic said, doing a playful dance that made me laugh. Andy chorted as Vic walked next to me. I could only imagine what Andy was thinking.
