"Bakit dito sa Maldives?" I asked Sun as he dipped his feet in the waters.
"Wala. I just heard that it's a beautiful place. Gusto ko bago man ako mawala, makapunta man lang rito kahit isang beses lang." He smiled.
"It's indeed a beautiful place." I sighed.
"Yeah. Just look at that view. It's a very beautiful scenery." He grinned.
"I'm looking at it." I said while looking at him. Napatingin siya sa akin.
Natahimik siya. He couldn't look at me.
"Look at me." I cupped his face.
Nakita ko na lumuluha siya.
"Hey! What did I do to make you cry?" I wiped his tears.
"If I die, you'll lose your sight to that beautiful scenery you're looking at." He hugged me.
I froze. Right. He's my beautiful scenery. And I'll lose sight of him someday.
"Sun. Can we just be happy for this trip? Ayaw ko na pinapaalala mo sa akin na mawawala ka balang araw. Pakiusap lang Sun, maging masaya muna tayo ngayon ha?" I cried.
"Gusto ko lang maihanda ka." His voice broke.
"Ayaw ko maging handa Sun. Kahit ihanda mo pa ako, masasaktan pa rin ako. Mas mabuti kung di ko mapaghandaan ang araw na iyon para kahit papaano matanggap ko. Matatanggap ko na mawawala ka na sa buhay ko." I hugged him tighter.
"Sorry. Ayaw kong saktan ka pero di ko kontrolado ang sitwasyon." I faced him.
"Wag kang mag-sorry. Lahat naman talaga tayo may hangganan. Mauuna ka lang sa amin. Hintayin mo ako doon ha?" I smiled.
"Oum. Hanggang sa kabilang buhay hahanapin kita Riki. Hihintayin kita mahal ko." He kissed me.
That kiss was very passionate. Slow but full of love.
"Te amo Riki." He said with a smile.
"Saranghae Sun." I grinned.
We went for a swim. We made splashes. Sun's smile radiated the whole place. He was happy. I was too.
Nang mapagod na kami sa pagligo, humiga kami sa mga loungers.
"You look happy." I smiled.
"Yes, I am." He winked at me.
"I'm glad to hear that from you. I just want you to be happy." Sumiksik ako sa lounger niya.
"With you, I'm happy." He whispered to my ear as he combed my hair using his hands.
