Water Surface Slash!

-Memory of the Hand Demon (3rd Person POV)-
A female corpse can be seen in a blood puddle. While a demon continues to feast on a male corpse. The demon looks up to see a young Urokodaki. The demon rushes toward Urokodaki, while he deflects the attack. The demon jumps up and slams onto the ground completely missing Urokodaki. But Urokodaki, however, sliced the demon. The demon retreats after being cut leaving behind a blood trail. Young Urokodaki follows the blood trail. The demon pants as he sees Urokodaki approach him. He runs in a last-ditch effort to lose Urokodaki. Urokodaki stood above a roof staring at the demon. He jumps and captures the demon.

-Hand Demon's POV-
I watch the boy approach my neck, as I picture him as Urokodaki. "Urokodaki!" I yelled. The boy slices my head clean off. My head falls as I see the boy soar. My head lands on the ground rolling to a stop. As I stop, I see my body crumbling to ashes from where I was cut. "Dammit! Dammit! Dammit! My body is crumbling and disappearing. I can't stop it!" I scream. The boy walks towards my body and places his swords inside his scabbard. "Dammit! To think that the face of a Demon Slayer will be the last thing I'll ever see..." I say again. The boy looks toward me with eyes of sadness. "How did it come to this?" I finish.

-Hand Demon's Mind-
A boy can be heard crying in the darkness. He speaks up, "I'm so scared. I'm all alone." He looks around and says, "Brother, where are you? I want you to hold my hand! Like you always do!"
(A/N: The 'Bolding' means it's happening in the real world)
Tanjiro walks up to the demon's hand.
"Why?"
"Why on earth did I bite you to death, Big Brother?"

The boy takes a demon's appearance.
"Huh? Wait, who's this 'Brother'?"

-Tanjiro's POV (Very short)-
I look towards the demon's hand. "What a sad scent," I say as I take the demon's hand. I say, "God... Please..."

-Hand Demon's Mind-
I see light behind me. I get up to look towards it and run.
"The next time this man is reborn, please make sure he doesn't turn into a demon."
The boy speaks, "Brother!" "Hmm?" the older boy answered. "Brother! Brother! Hold my hand, will you?" He said as he holds his hand out. The older boy takes it and says, "What am I going to do with you? Still such a scaredy-cat."

-Tanjiro's POV-
As the demon's hand disappears, I look up and think about the souls Mr. Urokodaki taught. "Sabito, Makomo... and everyone else who was killed... I won. You can rest easy now. I guess you're going home as promised. Even if only as souls, you're going back to Mt. Sagiri... and you Urokodaki whom you all love very much. If I'd ended up dead, my soul would've returned there, too," I thought.

-Small Time Skip-

A demon chases me as one question flows through my mind. I come to a stop as the demon is held back by branches. "There's something I wanna ask you! How do I turn someone who's become a demon back into a human?" I asked the demon. The branches start to creak as the demon pushes harder. The demon breaks through and charged at me. My blade makes contact with its neck and beheads it. Two more demons make an appearance. "Please tell me! How can I turn Nezuko... back into a human?" I ask the two demons before I kill them.

-Time Skip by 7 days-

I run towards a tree and make a stop. I look around to see any more demons. No more demons chased me so I kept running. I made another stop as I saw light emitting from above me. I sniff and smell wisteria. "Wisteria?" I sighed in relief. "I made it!"
Three other surviving participants made it out alive with me. I look around and ask myself, "Only four of us? But there were at least twenty of us. I also don't see that boy." "If I told the boy the help me with the demon, he may be alive, I couldn't save him," I say with regret. "I'm gonna die. I'm a goner." The yellow-haired boy said. "Even if I survive now, I'm gonna die in the end anyway," he finished. The guides both say in tandem, "Welcome back." They walk to the middle of the stairs. "Congratulations." The white-haired guide starts. The black-haired guide said, "We're pleased to see that you're safe." The boy with the mohawk rudely asks, "So? What am I supposed to do now? Where's my sword?" The white-haired guide spoke, "First, we shall issue you all uniforms. We will take your measurements, after which your rank will be engraved." The black-haired guide spoke, "There are ten ranks in all..." "Kinoe," the first guide started it off. "Kinoto." "Hinoe." "Hinoto." Tsuchinoe." "Tsuchinoto." "Kanoe." "Kanoto." "Mizunoe..." "and Mizunoto," The second guide finished. The first guide spoke, "Currently, you are at the lowest rank, Mizunoto." "And our swords?" The boy asked rudely. "Today, you will choose the ore for your swords. However, the swords will take ten to fifteen days to complete," the first hide answered. "Are you kidding me?" He said. Guide 1 spoke, "But first..." she claps her hands as three crows show up, and one sparrow. One crow landed on my shoulder. "We will now assign each of you your own Kasugai Crow." The first guide spoke. "Kasugai Crow?" I asked. "These Kasugai Crowd can be used primarily for communication." The first guide answers. "Did you say 'crow'? Isn't this a sparrow, though?" The yellow boy asks. "Don't give that crap!" The mohawk boy yelled as he swats away his crow. He furiously walks towards the guides. "Who the hell cares about some stupid crow?" He grabs the white-haired guide's hair, "I want a sword, you hear? Hand it over right now! The Demon Slayers' sword! The Color-Changing Katana!" As he was finishing up his demands, I walked up to him and grabbed his arm. "Huh?" He asked. "Let go of the child! Or else I'll break your arm!" I said with venom laced in my voice. The boy had the shivers, "H-Huh? Who the hell are you? Let's see you try it!" He said. I tighten my grip a bit as the boy yelps in pain. As the boy backs up groaning, he looks at me with anger and fear. I set the child's hair as it was before. "Are you finished chatting?" The second guide asked. He pulled off the covers on the table revealing ores. "Now then, please choose an ore. The ore for the sword... that will annihilate demons and protect you... will be of your choosing." The black-haired guide spoke. We four Demon Slayers line up at the table. "They're asking us to choose, but how are we supposed to pick one out? I've never seen an ore before, and I can't tell the difference between them." I mentally say. The boy to my left speaks up, "I have absolutely no clue." I thought about sniffing the ore that seems best. I walk up to the table and chose my ore.

-Meanwhile-
A crow informs a man that there were 5 surviving participants from Final Selection. "I see. As many as five of them managed to survive, huh? Excellent. The number of my children has increased again. I wonder what kinds of swordsmen they'll become," The man asks himself and the crow.

Chapter 10: End.

-A little secret-
1: The white-haired guide is a female, while the Black-haired guide is actually a male.
2: The fifth surviving Participant was so impatient, that he skipped the Final Preparation for becoming a Demon Slayer.
