Veronica and Wilbur had gotten back to the trailers late at night. Wilbur dropped Veronica off before heading back to his apartment. Veronica walked up to the Jones trailer door, attempting to open it. It was locked. Veronica didn't have the key, she had left it on her bed inside the trailer she was currently locked out of.

Veronica sighed, knocking and hoping someone was still up. No one answered the door so she backed away from the door and walked over to the Flame trailer. She would have gone to the Minecraft trailer but they all were staying in a hotel instead because Tommy kept complaining about the trailer beds.

Veronica knocked on the trailer door. Sapnap opened said door.

"Veronica? Can I help you? It's like 2 am." Sapnap told her, surprised to see her.

"Yeah, I just got back from Wil's and I'm locked out of my trailer. Can I stay here tonight?" Veronica asked, looking anywhere but at him.

"Sure. Can I talk to you first though?" Sapnap asked, stepping outside of the trailer and shutting the door behind him.

"I don't seem to have much of a choice." Veronica sighed, stepping back from the door.

"Listen. What happened in your trailer the other day.." Sapnap started.

"It was something we shouldn't have done." Veronica cut him off.

Sapnap opened his mouth to speak but closed it immediately. Veronica sighed.

"You don't have to tell me that you didn't mean it." Veronica told him, going to walk around him.

Sapnap carefully grabbed her arm, making her face him.

"Who said that I didn't mean it?" He asked her.

Veronica looked at him, "You left right after it happened. We haven't talked since it happened." Veronica told him, pulling her arm away from him.

"I did that because I didn't know how you felt about it. Clearly I got my answer." Sapnap scoffed.

"You could have figured out how I felt about it by asking me."

"It's not like you tried to talk to me about it." Sapanp countered.

"I don't know what I'm doing!" Veronica told him, clearly a little frustrated.

"Then tell me that!" Sapnap exclaimed.

"What do you want me to say here, Sapnap?" Veronica asked.

"Tell me how you feel about it."

Veronica stared at him for a moment, "It was different from any other kiss I've had. I liked it."

Sapnap's face seemed to light up. "I agree."

"So what now?" Veronica asked. The two were face to face now.

"I want to try this." Sapnap told her, grabbing her hands gently.

"What about the fans? Last time something happened between me and another racer they wanted the other racer to crash." Veronica said, chewing her lip, a trait that both Jones's had.

"Forget the fans. Okay? This isn't about them. Give me a chance. If it doesn't work out then we will decide what to do from there." Sapnap told her.

Veronica looked at him, sighing quietly and nodding.

"Fine. How do we do this? I haven't done anything romantic in over two years." Veronica told her.

"Well." Sapnap smiled, pausing to kiss the back of her hand, "Will you go on a date with me?"

Veronica chuckled, nodding, "I will go on a date with you Sapnap."

Sapnap grinned, "great. How about tomorrow? Does 6 sound good?"

"Sounds amazing." Veronica smiled at him.

"Great, it's a date then. Dress nice." Sapnap told her, kissing her cheek and letting go of her hands.

Veronica chuckled, nodding. She blew him a kiss before walking into his trailer. Sapnap followed, showing her which bed was his.

Veronica told him goodnight and went to sleep. Sapnap immediately woke up Dream. Dream was not pleased to be woken up and almost punched, Sapnap grabbed his hand before he got punched and told him to meet him outside.

It took almost 20 minutes before Dream finally got up and went outside where Sapnap was pacing in circles, stressed out.

Dream walked up to his best friend, stopping his pacing.

"Why are you burning a Sapnap ring into the ground?" Dream asked, grabbing his friends shoulders and keeping him in place.

"I asked her on a date. I have no idea how to plan a date." Sapnap's tone was panicked.

Dream was surprised but he laughed a bit at his friend's state.

"Okay, calm down. I assume you asked Veronica out. I know just the thing to do. When is the date?" Dream asked.

"Tomorrow at 6. I told her to dress nicely." Sapnap explained, worried he messed up.

"That will work. Just stay calm. Can we go to bed now? I am tired as fuck." Dream chuckled, yawning in the process.

"Sorry, yea, let's sleep." Sapnap mumbled, knowing he probably wouldn't sleep for a while and instead overthink.

Dream smiled, tiredly walking back into the trailer and laying down, he crashed almost instantly. Sapnap followed him inside, sitting next to Dream's bed and staying like that for an hour before finally falling asleep.
