When we got to my house something just didn't seem right. I didn't want to get out the car.
"What's wrong Josephine?" Gabriel asked making me shake my head even though I really did know.
"Nothing, my parents here?" I asked him and he shook his head.
"They're at work, I promised to have you home by the time they got back" he told me and I nodded and got out the car with him.
As we walked to the door the unsettling feeling just got worse and worse and I noticed Gabriel's trail behind me as well as someone looking out the blinds as we walked up which made my eyes go wide.
I turned around to walk away because now I'm scared and something is telling me to run but he grabbed him and crossed my arms across my chest before carrying me up my stairs.
For some reason I couldn't scream but I know I should be, this isn't right. Somethings about to happen that I will remember forever in a bad way and I am too fearful to do anything.
The door opened and I seen my dad and some man before I was in the house and seen my mother in the kitchen.
Her face was red and her body was shaking while my dad stood with a can of beer in his hand.
Gabriel let me go and I just stood there between them all.
"You ready to come back home?" My dad asked and I looked up at him and shook my head.
"I don't want to stay here" I finally spoke and he chuckled.
"Why? You've let that sick boy inside of you already?" He asked and I furrowed my eyebrows.
"He's not sick" I argued.
"If he enjoys that "little" stuff with you then his sick" he told me.
I sighed and looked back down.
"So what are we doing?" The guy asked making me look up and look between everyone.
My dad looked over me and smirked.
"You can take her, as long as I get 70%" he told him making him nod and then look over me body.
My heart raced again but once again I remained silent. My mind wondered where he was trying to take me though. I just was afraid to speak to him.
The man walked closer to me making me stop looking down at my feet and up at him which made my uneasy.
"Jahseh's your 'daddy'?" He asked making me furrow my eyebrows but answer.
"Y-Yes" I stuttered but looked at my parents, fearful of their reactions but neither changed.
I looked to Gabriel to see he was only standing there on his phone.
"We've got a deal then sir" he told my dad before he turned to him and they shook hands.
He began to walk out of the house shortly after.
"Thank you guys for your business" he told me parents before his eyes landed on me.
"Come with me Joey" he told me and I shook my head.
I began to cry because I was getting overwhelmed, I don't even understand what the fuck is going on.
"Look Joey my name is Bruno, I promise to take good care of you."
