#Joel's POV#

"Hey, Lizzie," I asked when we settled down in bed. It was nearly 10:30, and Lyn already went to bed, excited about tomorrow, when we would go shopping. "Huh?" Lizzie raised an eyebrow. She was scrolling in her Instagram, checking her comments. "I think it was a very good idea to adopt Lyn. She's such a sweet child." I finished, looking at her, wanting her view. "I know...I think, Joel, we made a very good choice to adopt Lyn."

#Lyn's POV#

"Rise and shine, Lyn!" Lizzie's voice echoed through my sleepy head. "Today we're going shopping!" I felt sunlight float in from the curtains that she just opened and I groaned. "I was having a good dream..." I muttered. "About me having my own channel...." Lizzie heard me, and cried: "Yes! That's such a good idea! You should totally make your own channel. But not today. Breakfast is downstairs. See you!" Then she left, leaving me alone with my pillow and blanket.

15 minutes later...

I went down the stairs with my outfit for the day: A turquoise top with long, skinny ripped jeans. "Good morning, Lyn!" It was Joel. "Hi, Joel," I smiled and replied. He was in the kitchen, whipping up some pancakes for breakfast, and they smelled amazing. There were already six on a plate, and he plopped one more onto the stack and told me and Lizzie to share that stack. On the dining table was a bowl of whipped cream, some butter and a jug of maple syrup.

"Enjoy!" Lizzie slid the pancake on the top onto my plate. "Joel's pancakes are really delicious. Almost as good as he is at Minecraft." We all smiled at that joke, then Joel joined us and we dug in, stuffing the pancakes in our mouths.

Timeskip to 10am

We were going shopping. I had made a list last night:

1. Clothes for everyday wear

2. Clothes for school (yes, I am going to attend school, North London High School, next Monday)

3. Shoes for school

4. Sandals

"Ready?" Lizzie asked me, holding open the car door for me. "Yes!" I replied, sliding onto the back seat. "Let's go!"

We drove to the nearby mall and went into the Marks and Spence. I picked out some cute skirts and jeans there. Then we went into another clothing store and picked out some shirts and crop-tops, not for school, but for weekends and holidays. We had lunch at a sushi restaurant, which was famous for its hand rolls.

Joel got bored after lunch, so he told us he's going back home to record his 100 Hours in Hardcore Minecraft video.

Me and Lizzie continued on, going to a few shoe stores and trying out sneakers and sandals. I finally chose one pair of turquoise and white sneakers and one pair of golden sandals that were not so expensive.

We got back home just in time. Joel had just finished recording his video, and reported that he had not died yet, fortunately, because it is a Hardcore world. Then we settled down for dinner then I organised my new clothes and shoes while Joel and Lizzie edited his video.

I lay on my bed, relaxing after I put my shoes downstairs in the shoe cabinet and threw my new clothes into the washing. Then I had a genius idea. I logged onto my computer and went to Youtube. These few days have been so busy that I didn't have time to check my subscription list for any updates! There was a small red dot next to LDShadowLady and GeminiTay, so I first pressed into Lizzie's channel and there it was! Her adoption video.

Once I finished watching the ten-minute video, I was beaming. Lizzie said so many nice words about me! But then I scrolled to the comment section. Lots of people said that I was pretty, and Joel and Lizzie were so lucky to get to adopt me. But there were hate, too. A dozen people called me ugly, and said that they don't deserve me, which is the direct opposite to what the good comments said. But I chose to ignore those comments exited the tab and went to bed.
