#Joel's POV#
I woke up at 8:30am in a really somber mood. After I posted my 25 minute video last night, I got lots of good comments, like how I haven't died yet after 90 hours out of my 100 hours. But because I added a little clip from Lizzie's adoption video saying we adopted a thirteen year old girl, there were also a lot of hate comments about Lyn, saying that we don't deserve her and that she was ugly. We do deserve her! She's all we want when we wanted to adopt! I thought angrily to those people.
All my fidgeting woke Lizzie up, too. "Joel..." She groaned, eyes fluttering open. "I forgot to tell you something last night..." I turned to her. "Yes?"
"Lyn wants to make her own YouTube channel."
Those words hit me hard like a punch. I realised now that some of my viewers don't like Lyn, she may not get a lot of subscribers or viewers when people realise who she is. I have to tell Lizzie and Lyn. But not now. "We'll... um... see about that," I replied. "We'll have a family chat later after breakfast." I smiled. "Our first one."

"We'll have a family chat after breakfast." Said Joel. "Our first one." Then he stretched, yawned and rolled out of bed. "Where are you going?" I asked and checked my phone. "It's only 8:32." He sat on the edge of the bed and slipped on his slippers. "Going to make breakfast, baby. I don't want to sleep anymore."
I smiled. "Please make me scrambled eggs and heat up those hash browns," I said playfully. "Thank you for your order. Your food will come in about 15 minutes." Joel stood up straight like a waiter taking an order in a restaurant.
#Lyn's POV#
After I woke up, I went down the stairs to find Joel sizzling some scrambled eggs with salt. It smelled amazing. "Morning, Joel." He looked up. "Morning, Lyn. Want some eggs? I also heated up some hash browns if you would like... and can you please take the ketchup to the dining table?" "Sure." I snatched up the ketchup and while I did that I sneaked a piece of cooked egg from a plate. Joel saw, and he raised his eyebrows, but laughed. "Sneaky little girl," he said as he ruffed my long, messy blonde-and-brown hair.
In 10 minutes, all three of us were sitting at the dining table, chatting about my life in the orphanage and when Lizzie and Joel were my age while eating lightly salted scrambled eggs and hash browns and sipping milk. Then after we ate, Joel called Lizzie and me into the lounge. I sank into a grey sofa and asked: "What's this about?" "This is our first family chat." Joel replied. When I heard those words, my heart leapt. This means we are now truly a family.
"Okay." Lizzie said. "I'll start off. Lyn, you said you wanted to create your own YouTube channel?" I nodded. "Yes," I replied. "I have no problem with that, as we each have our own very successful ones. Joel? Um, you alright there?" Lizzie saw Joel staring at the ceiling, daydreaming, and not talking at all. "Um, yeah. I'm okay. Yeah. With, uh, Lyn starting a channel. But I have to say..." He stopped. "What?" Me and Lizzie asked at the same time.
"I have to say, I realised that not a lot of people like Lyn. If she starts a channel and everyone knows that she's the adopted daughter of LDShadowLady and SmallishBeans, she might not have a lot of viewers or subs, because...well...there were lots of hate comments about her on my video."
