Adopted By My Idols #1: A Jizzie Adoption Story

Chapter 7

#Lizzie's POV#

I gasped out loud after hearing Joel. "What? Hate comments? Why-" I went into my Twitter where I posted two pictures of the adoption. And there, the second comment: 'Why would anyone adopt that little ugly, ugly thing of a girl' and the sixth comment: 'Who is she and why don't Lizzie have her own biological baby instead of this fricking monstrosity'. 

That comment hit me particularly hard, as it was directed to me. "Oh, Lyn. I'm so, so sorry-" Then I realise Lyn didn't say anything. "You okay?" Lyn nodded, tears watering in her eyes. "Wait. Do you know about this?" Joel asked sternly. She nodded again, and his look made her tears trickle down her cheek. 

"You do?" I sucked in a breath. "How long have you known?" "Since...since last night." Lyn's voice was quiet. "I...I was watching your adoption videos, and...I scrolled to the comments, and..." She didn't finish, but I knew what she meant. I hoped Joel did too.

I snuggled closer to her and embraced her in a warm hug. Then the thought hit me. "Joel, how do you know about this?" Joel looked at the ground. "I was looking through the comments in my 100 Hours in Hardcore video I posted a few days ago, and, as I added a clip of the adoption video you made, there were comments about Lyn on my video, too." 

"We have to do something," I said. "Wait." I made a new post on my Twitter, and copied it on my Instagram and YouTube comments. "Now check any one of my social media." Joel swiped into Twitter while Lyn grabbed her phone and clicked into her Instagram. A smile appeared on both of their lips when they read my posts. 

"That's so smart and sweet!" Lyn cried. "'If you don't respect my daughter, you don't respect me or Joel, and so get out of my channel!' Awww, Lizzie, thanks! You sacrificed your viewers for me!" I grinned and looked away. I hope the viewers who hate commented Lyn would understand that I would never replace her by anything. 

#Lyn's POV#

Lizzie is really smart for a YouTuber... I can't believe she did this for me! I thought as I put my phone away. "So, Lyn," Joel asked. "Do you still want to create your channel after you know that there are people who don't like you very much?" "Yes!" I replied, confident. "This makes me want to create one even more so I can show people all around the world that think I'm not perfect that I can a great YouTuber, like my adopted parents." 

Lizzie started tearing up and Joel wrapped his arms around me. "That's my girl," he said. 

So then after the family chat we went to my room and set up my YouTube channel. We decided on TheSolarEclipse as I thought this is a very powerful name as solar eclipses are very powerful and it would show my viewers that I am not afraid to show who I am. And for my first video, I posted about being adopted by the famous YouTubers LDShadowLady and SmallishBeans. There were not many views at first, but the morning before my school started, everything changed. 

#Joel's POV#

Today was the day Lyn was starting at her new school, North England High School (a school I made up). I hope she makes friends there. I suppose friends would not be a problem, as her adopted parents are me and Lizzie. But I'm still a bit nervous.

I woke up at around 6:30am. Lyn starts school at 8, and we'll set off at around 7:15. I then woke Lizzie, and we went downstairs to make breakfast before Lyn wakes up. At around 6:45, we heard her alarm clock go off and a minute later, she came into the kitchen, yawning.

"Morning, Lyn." I said, looking up my cooking. "Hi, Joel... Morning, Lizzie..." She replied, shaking the sleep out of her head. "Excited for your first day?" Lizzie asked, ruffling Lyn's hair. "Yup!" She replied, suddenly energetic. "Hopefully the teachers are all nice."

After breakfast and preparing for school, we all piled into the car. Lyn's school wasn't too far of a drive, it was just 10 minutes away. While I was driving, Lyn checked her YouTube channel and let out a squeak. "Oh my gosh... Lizzie... Joel..."
