In just over a week (hopefully) my youth orchestra is going to read a piece that I wrote. This is really exciting for me because it's the first time it's happening! Ahh! My parents are going to record it, I think, so there may be a recording in the near future... if Wattpad and my computer don't conspire to stop me from posting it...
Also, I'm principal cello for the season finale concert, and the piece we're playing has a cello solo (which means only one person gets to play it — me). Orchestral solos for cello are pretty rare, but I think this one is the third one I've had this year!
