A Mother's Final Trump Card

-Zenitsu's POV-
I screamed, "Nezuko-chan!" I walk around panting and yelled, "Nezuko-chan! Where are you?" I begin to cry because I'm lost and can't find anyone to help me. I sob into my arm as I say, "Nezuko-chan... Tanjiro... Wild Boar... Chuntaro! Where did you all go? I'm sorry for everything, OK?" I keep crying until I hear Chuntaro's chirp above me. I ask, "Chuntaro?" I grab him (or her idk) and yell, "You mean you came looking for me? You're so adorable! Second after Nezuko-chan, but still!" Chuntaro screeches as I yell, "I'm sorry for everything! All right, let's go look for Nezuko-chan together!"

-With Tanjiro (3rd Person POV)-
Inosuke laughs as he says, "Just look at that! Check it out! I've tossed up more than you!" Tanjiro says, "Right! One more to go!" Inosuke turns to the last controlled Corps member and says, "OK. I'm gonna do it one more time, so make sure you watch!" Tanjiro said, "All right! You got it! Just don't be rough!"

-Mother Demon's POV-
I begin to get frustrated as I say, "I don't need those fragile human dolls anymore! They're useless!" I pull the threads to kill them off.

-With Tanjiro (3rd Person POV)-
The controlled Corps member in front of Inosuke had his head turn 180 degrees, killing him instantly. Tanjiro gasped as the other controlled Corps member's died off one by one. Inosuke yells, "Aah! Dammit! Now they're all dead!" Tanjiro walks up to the dead Corps member as he seethes with rage. He kneels in front of it as he regrets not being able to save them. Rocks and dirt patches started to float as his rage burns deep. Inosuke feels his rage as Tanjiro gets up saying, "Let's go." Inosuke says, "Right."

Tanjiro and Inosuke run down the forest in search of the demon responsible for killing the others. Inosuke says, "This way! We're getting close!" Tanjiro thought, "Now that the wind's changed direction, my sense of smell is starting to come back! So, I'll be able to pinpoint the demon's location! There are two more scents! There!" "Inosuke!" Inosuke answers, "I detected that thing before you did! I'm going to hack its head right off!" Inosuke jumps into the air ready to slice the demon's head off. As Inosuke closes in, the demon had no head. Inosuke yells, "Hah?" The demon and Inosuke clashed, sending Inosuke back to Tanjiro. Inosuke says, "That thing... has no head!"

-Zenitsu's POV-
I yell, "Nezuko-chan! Where are you?" Chuntaro chirps after my yell. I pant as I come to a halt, then say, "Where are you, Tanjiro, Inosuke? Don't leave me here all by myself in this terrifying forest!" A tree rustled behind me, startling me as I scream. Birds fly off after my scream reaches them. I ask, "What was that?" I start to get angry and drop my arms while saying, "You know what? This is starting to make me really mad! I'll find Nezuko-chan as soon as possible, and then it's so long scary forest! Nezuko-chan!"

-With Tanjiro's battle (3rd Person POV)-
The demon jumps and slams its blade into the ground between Tanjiro and Inosuke. They both jump in opposite directions as Inosuke says, "That thing's got no weak spots! I can't slash something that's not there!" Inosuke gags and screams as Tanjiro yells, "Inosuke!" Inosuke yells, "What do we do? What do we do?" Tanjiro says, "Stay calm! We can use the Kesagiri Maneuver! Let's try slashing from the base of its neck on the right side to the left waist! It's a lot to cover, and I'm sure it's really tough, but I bet..." Tanjiro was cut off by Inosuke charging in to cut it. Tanjiro yells, "Wait! I mean together." Inosuke charged at the demon as the demon got ready to slash Inosuke. Inosuke says, "It's fast!" The demon thrust its blade at Inosuke barely cutting him. Inosuke gained three different cuts around his body from it. He ran around it as he said, "But not so fast I can't dodge it!" Inosuke noticed spiders crawling on him as he says, "Uh-oh! I forgot about the spiders!" Inosuke was caught in threads spun from the spiders, rendering him immobile. The body of the demon took the perfect chance to stab Inosuke as Inosuke struggled, "I can't move! I'm a dead man!" Tanjiro deflected the demon's blade and swung at it. The controlled body hopped back giving Tanjiro time to cut Inosuke loose. Inosuke shudders as Tanjiro said, "Inosuke, let's fight together! Let's think together! Let's work together, so we can bring down this demon!" Inosuke yells, "Damn you! Don't make me any giddier than I already am!" The demon got ready to swing as Inosuke yelled, "You're in my way!" Tanjiro got to the ground and ordered, "Inosuke, launch yourself off me!" Inosuke stepped on Tanjiro's box while cutting the demon's arms off. Tanjiro yelled, "Inosuke, jump!" Inosuke jumped into the air while Tanjiro used,

Total Concentration... Water Breathing! Fourth Form... Striking Tide!

Tanjiro used Striking Tide to cut the demon's legs off. The demon's body fell to the ground as Tanjiro screamed, "Now for the Kesagiri!" Inosuke thought, "Dammit, what the hell? This is annoying! It's all going his way, huh? It's as if this whole thing was predicted by him... as natural as water flowing down a river's course. It's not about going first for this guy. It's the battle! It's the overall flow that he's watching!" Inosuke falls to the ground as he slashed the demon's body from the neck to the waist. Tanjiro thought, "Great! What a cut! All right! We defeated it, Inosuke!" Inosuke stood there frozen before Tanjiro asked, "Huh? Inosuke?" Inosuke stood up, looking at Tanjiro and ran to him. He dropped his swords as he ran full speed at him. Inosuke yelled, "Anything you can do, I can do, too, dumbass!" Inosuke grabs onto Tanjiro and launched him into the air. Tanjiro looked around as he noticed the mother demon. He took a sniff as he said, "This scent... So, that's what this is about, huh, Inosuke?"
The mother demon thought in frustration, "They got me! They got me! Even though that doll was my fastest and strongest! It's Rui's fault for coming to me with his threats! That's why I panicked! I panicked! Panicked!" She then hears Tanjiro get close as she gasps, "From above?" As Tanjiro falls to the demon's location, he used,

Water Breathing, First Form!

The mother demon thought in fear, "He'll kill me! He'll cut off my head! Think! You have to think!" She whimpers as Tanjiro got closer. She kept thinking, "But," she drops her hands and cuts off her threads. She finished, "If I die, I'll be freed. And then, I'll find peace." She raises her hands as she prepares for death. Tanjiro noticed she is giving her own life to him and switched his forms,

Fifth Form... Blessed Rain After The Drought.

Tanjiro successfully cut the mother demon's head as he reaches the ground. The mother demon thought, "This is... It feels like I'm being showered by a gentle rain. It doesn't hurt at all. It's not agonizing. It's simply warm. I never dreamed that my end would be this tranquil. And now, I'm free."

-Mother Demon's Memory-
The mother demon screamed as she covers her eye. Blood sprays as she says, "I'm so sorry! I apologize, so please forgive me! What made you angry? What caused you such displeasure?" The father demon said nothing as Rui answered, "Your offence is not knowing what made him mad." The mother demon asked, "But how could I?" A laugh was heard from the brother demon as he said, "Father's angry with Mother again!" He laughs as the mother demon was grabbed by the hair of the father demon. She screams in pain as she yells, "Stop it! No! No!" The sister demon looks at her in pity as the mother demon sobs.

-With Tanjiro (3rd Person POV)-
As the mother demon's head falls she looks at Tanjiro's face as she thought, "Those eyes... Such kind eyes... Back when I was human, I think someone used to look at me with kind eyes. I wonder who that was. I can't remember. It was someone who always treasured me. I wonder how that person is doing now." She then warns Tanjiro, "There's a Twelve Kizuki here." Tanjiro gasped at the mention and run up to her saying, "Eh? Wait!" The mother demon said before disappearing, "Be careful." Tanjiro said to himself, "A twelve Kizuki is here... An actual one... here on this mountain!"

Chapter 33: End.

-A Little Secret-
Tanjiro's excitement reached new levels at the mention of the Twelve Kizuki. Testing his strength has been his goal since he was smaller.
