Wrong Direction

Cora woke up to find herself once again naked in Benji's bed. The 21 year old couldn't remember exactly how she got there, but by her lack of clothes and the slightly older man, who was also naked cuddled up next to her, it didn't take the redhead long to figure out what had happened. Obviously, she had gotten too drunk and hooked up with Benji yet again.

Cora wasted no time getting out of bed as she carefully slid out from under Benji's arm, trying not to wake him. She then frantically began searching for her clothes, which scattered about the small bedroom.

I wondered where this went, Cora thought as she picked up a black and white zebra striped bra, which she had lost at least a month ago. The redhead stuffed the bra in her pants pocket and continued looking for her other pieces of clothing.

She quickly found everything but her underwear, which was nowhere to be found.

Fuck it. I'll go home commando, Cora thought as she slid on her ripped jeans. The redhead threw on her red beanie and shirt as she made her way out of Benji's apartment.

I gotta get a car, Cora thought as she pulled out her phone to call an Uber.

By the time the Uber driver finally got Cora home, the young redhead was ready to go back to bed. Sadly, she had to be at work in less than an hour.

Cora quickly took a shower then threw on some makeup and her work clothes. She wore a green flannel with dark Blue slacks with her long red, naturally curly hair down.

Just as she was about to leave, it dawned on her that the house was oddly quiet for 11:30.

Where is Chloe? Cora thought.

Figuring her sister was still mad at her for the night before Cora made her way up to Chloe's room to make peace. However, she was surprised to find that Chloe was still fast asleep with Sunshine curled up next to her.

Holy Shit! How late was she up last night? The redhead thought.

It wasn't like Chloe to sleep in. Usually, she was up at 6:30 for a run on Saturdays.

Cora decided to look at her phone to see what Chloe had texted her the previous night. Her sister had blown up her phone once they had left CR's Party, and Cora hadn't bothered to even look at Chloe's texts until now. As she skimmed them, one caught her eye. It was a picture. But not just any picture. Chloe had managed to get Beca to take a selfie with her. Her sister even had her arm around the smaller woman.

Woah, That's not like Beca, Cora thought as the younger Beale smiled into her phone.

Quickly Cora texted Emily, Em, What happened last night?! What did Beca think of Chloe?! I want to know everything.

As soon as her texts were sent, she received a message from Benji.

Benji: Hey, you disappeared this morning quicker than my magic career.

Followed by another text which read,

Benji: But it's okay, last night was amazing, and I can't wait to see you again :)

Cora rolled her eyes.

I'm glad someone enjoyed last night, Cora thought, still not remembering anything about it.

After a painful car ride with her neighbor, Meredith, Cora was back at work. The nice thing about being the assistant manager was that she got her own office all to herself. She also only had to deal with the customers' complaints, which meant that she had a lot of downtime at work to watch Netflix. It also meant that at times her shifts seemed to last forever.
