"Hey, Vicki," Beca said, placing a single red rose on her fiancé's tombstone. "I know it's been a while. I just wanted to talk to you about some stuff that's been going on. If you were here, you'd know exactly what to do, but honestly, I just feel lost."
Beca sighed as she contemplated what to say next. Coming to the cemetery had been a spur-of-the-moment decision. Beca had started her day the way she had every Saturday by volunteering at the local animal shelter. However, it wasn't the same without the bubbly redhead.
It had been three weeks, and except for the voicemail she left on Cora's phone, no one had seen or heard from Chloe. Beca, Aubrey, and Emily had all gone over to her house, and there was either no answer or worse, Jamie would answer and tell them that Chloe was out running an errand. He also made it perfectly clear that Chloe wanted to be left alone. But Beca didn't buy it. She knew there was something real between them. Even if there wasn't, Beca swore that one way or another, she'd find a way to get Chloe away from Jamie. She just didn't know how. Beca had even tried going to Chloe's work only to discover that she had taken some time off.
"I wasn't planning on coming here today. I just wanted to tell you I.." Beca stuttered. "I met someone. Her name is Chloe. She has bright red hair, deep blue eyes, and the biggest smile I have ever seen. She is like the sweetest person in the whole world. You'd totally love her. Anyways, I think I'm in love with her. And it scares the shit out of me. It's like ever since you left, I've been stuck in this never-ending storm, and no matter what I do, I can't escape it. But it's not like that when Chloe is around. When I'm around her, it's like the whole world just disappears."
Beca found herself telling Vicki everything she could about how she met the redhead and the events leading up to today. As she spoke, her mind wandered back to the night of the dance. The way in which Beca, against her better judgment, had curled up into Chloe's side as they watched Netflix. She could still feel their legs intertwined and how their bodies seemed to fit together perfectly. Beca remembered the fear she felt as Chloe got up to leave. The thought of something bad happening to the redhead, like what happened to Vicki, was more than she could bear. And in her fragile state, Chloe embraced Beca by kissing and holding her until she fell asleep. She could've never imagined the secret the redhead was hiding.
"I should've told her how I felt. Just like I should've told you on that day," Beca said. Tears were now uncontrollably flowing down her face. For the past few weeks Beca had tried to put on a brave face and be strong for everyone else in her life. Cora, Aubrey, Stacie, Emily, Benji, and even Jesse all need her to be strong. But, now Beca felt she could finally let it all out. "I loved you, Victoria. I loved every day we were together, even if I acted like a cold, heartless bitch a lot of the time. I would give anything to have you and the baby back. But we had our time together. And I have to go after her, or I'll regret it forever. I hope you can understand that."
Beca felt her chest tighten as she sat on the ground. Time seemed to stand still as she cried until she physically couldn't anymore. The tiny brunette picked herself up off the ground and was about to leave the cemetery when her phone started to ring.
"Blair?" Beca answered.
"Hey Beca, I have a letter for you from Chloe," Blair started.

"Remind me why we are here again?" Aubrey said, slightly annoyed.
"Because it is Saturday, which is the best day to go to Costco," Emily practically squealed as she led the pair from the heated parking lot in the cool air-conditioned store. Aubrey didn't see what the big deal was. To her, Saturday was just another day to run errands, but by the way Emily was acting, you would've thought that it was Christmas. The younger woman had been practically bouncing up and down the whole car ride over. She was starting to make the blonde feel like they were undressed. Emily was wearing a white t-shirt with a giant black heart on it with a matching pair of black jeans, while Aubrey was wearing an orange tank top with a black bra underneath and white shorts. Aubrey felt somewhat insecure going out in public in her current attire, worrying that she may look fat. However, Emily had insisted she looked hot. Her exact words were, "If I weren't straight, I'd tap that."
