"You look amazing," Beca said as Chloe came downstairs. After about a half-hour of preparation, Chloe was feeling as confident as she could about herself. She wore a beautiful green dress that cut off just above her knees. It was the first time since Jamie had beat her that Chloe felt confident enough to wear a dress that had spaghetti straps and showed her bareback. The scars on her back were still visible, but Chloe was a survivor, and she refused to let what had happened to prevent her from living her life.

Beca knew that even though she was trying to be brave, Chloe was still a little insecure about her back. And she couldn't describe how proud she was that Chloe was going to Amy's party. The two didn't know anything about the party except they were told to wear their "sexiest outfits."

The redhead gave her girlfriend a soft smile before taking Beca's hand. Without another word, Chloe grabbed Beca by the hand and led her out to their car. Beca was once again wearing the black fitted dress that she had bought to go to Aubrey's prom with Chloe. She was hoping to rekindle some of the magic of that night again tonight.

Six weeks had passed since Beca had rescued Chloe from Jamie. In some ways, it had felt like a lifetime, and yet at the same time, it felt like no time at all had passed. However, Beca couldn't deny that she had changed. A year ago, Beca wouldn't have been caught dead going to a party. Before meeting Chloe, every day of Beca's life after Victoria died was lonely. Even on the nights she brought someone back home with her, there was this emptiness inside of her, and no matter what she did, she couldn't get rid of it. And although she didn't know it, Chloe had the same exact same emptiness in her life prior to meeting Beca. They were both lost stars searching for meaning. However, now that they had finally found each other, the emptiness inside them was gone. And even the bad days didn't seem so bad now.

As Beca and Chloe entered Benji and Amy's Bar, they were surprised to see a familiar face with long blonde hair waiting there for them.

"Aubrey!" both Beca and Chloe screamed as they ran towards the blonde. A giant smile crept across Aubrey's face as both women pulled her into a group hug. Aubrey could help but cry as her two friends hugged her. She had missed them both so much and was so happy to see them again.

"I'm so sorry I wasn't there for you when," Chloe said. She couldn't help crying at seeing her best friend again.

"No, I am so sorry. I should've done something sooner to help you," Aubrey said, breaking away from their hugs. She couldn't help but cry as she saw the marks on Chloe's back.

"Hey, I'm okay," Chloe said, trying to comfort her best friend.

"Aubs, you look amazing!" Beca said, trying to keep the conversation positive. And the truth was Aubrey did look amazing. The blonde was wearing a beautiful gold mini dress that showed an amply amount of chevage. However, Aubrey's appearance was more than what she was wearing. Her whole persona was glowing. While in rehab, the blonde had put back a lot of the weight she had lost. The color in her face had also returned. But most noticeable of all was that her smile had returned.

"Thanks," Aubrey said. Her smile slowly turned into a smirk. "So, I heard a rumor about you two."

"I have no idea what you could possibly be talking about," Beca quipped, causing Chloe to swat her on the arm playfully. Beca pretended to be hurt and said, "What?"

"We're very happy together, Bree," Chloe said as she slid her hand into Beca's. Their fingers interlocked and Aubrey felt her heart melt as she saw the way Beca and Chloe looked at each other. She knew how heartbroken they had been. But seeing them together again was almost enough to make her believe that her story might have a happy ending one day.

"I'll let Chloe tell you all about it while I go and get us some drinks," Beca said.

As Aubrey and Chloe caught up, Beca quietly slipped away to the bar where Cora and Emily were hanging out. The two clearly stood out of the crowd as Cora was wearing a baby blue dress with red flowers on it, and Emily was wearing a bright purple dress. However, the two friends were too preoccupied to notice Beca approaching. Now that Beca and Chloe were together, the two had decided it was time to use their match-making skills on a new couple. Cora had just introduced her old high school friend Jessica to Emily's old high school friend Ashley. The pair had immediately hit it off, and Cora and Emily couldn't be prouder of themselves.
