Without any warning, Chloe was woken up by a screaming Beca. The tiny brunette was screaming her lungs out as Chloe came too. She was shaking violently and uncontrollably as the redhead wrapped her arms around her. Chloe wasn't sure how long they had been asleep but considering it was still dark out, she figured it couldn't have been long.

"Beca, you're okay," Chloe said softly, trying to both wake the smaller woman from her night terror and comfort her. "Take a deep breath. Listen to my voice and breathe."

Beca clutched the redhead tightly as she struggled to breathe. She was sweating, crying, and shaking uncontrollably—her bare body—hugging Chloe's for dear life as she struggled to wake up. After making love, the two women were too exhausted to bother getting dressed. Chloe knew that Beca occasionally had night terrors, but with everything else going on, the fact she might have one tonight hadn't crossed her mind.

"I'm right here, Becs. Just breathe," Chloe said, trying to comfort the smaller woman.

Not knowing what else to do, the redhead started to sing, hoping it might help Beca calm down.

"I'm bulletproof, nothing to lose
Fire away, fire away
Ricochet, you take your aim
Fire away, fire away
You shoot me down, but I won't fall
I am titanium"

As the redhead sang, she gently stroked the brunette's bareback. Beca felt her breathing slowly return to normal. The younger woman was wide awake now, but her mind was still processing what was real and what was only just a dream. Just a few hours ago, Beca was on cloud nine as her body was entangled with Chloe's. Even as it was happening, she couldn't believe that she was making love to the redhead head that had stolen her heart. She was sure that at any moment, she would wake up to find that it was all a figment of her imagination. However, when sleep finally overtook her body, Beca dreamed that she had to watch Chloe die. Beca was no stranger to night terrors and nightmares. She had similar ones about Victoria after her girlfriend died. But this was the first one she had about Chloe.

While Beca struggled to differentiate between dream and reality, Chloe just held her and kept singing. Beca comfortably rested her head on the redhead's chest. Her arm was wrapped around Chloe's bare stomach while their legs were perfectly intertwined.

"You shoot me down, but I won't fall
I am titanium
You shoot me down, but I won't fall
I am titanium"

Neither of them said anything as Chloe's song came to an end. The redhead just placed a soft kiss on the top of the smaller woman's head. She then closed her eyes as they just held each other in silence.

"I'm sorry, Chlo," Beca eventually said, breaking the silence.

"It's okay," The redhead said before placing a soft kiss on the brunette's cheek. "But you did wake up the babies."

Beca looked through the darkness to see four beady eyes and two wagging tails staring at her from the foot of her bed.

"Hey, guys. Well, come on," Beca said, motioning for the two dogs to join them on the bed. Both Max and Sunshine were well trained, and neither would jump on the bed without a direct invitation. However, after they were given the go-ahead within seconds, the two Labradors joined Beca and Chloe in bed.

"Okay, guys calm down," Beca said as she was swarmed by the two dogs who were intent on both licking her face and cuddling with her. "I'm okay, I promise. A little help here, Chloe?"

"They're just worried about their momma," Chloe said in her cartoon voice, which Beca thought was way too cute. The redhead just laughed as she watched both dogs fighting for Beca's attention.

"You know those dogs are just about as big as you are," the redhead added.

"You're not helping," Beca squealed.
