"Nope," Chloe said as she skipped yet another song on her phone's playlist.

The veterinary assistant was in her car, waiting for Beca to show up at the Animal shelter. Chloe had gotten to there 30 minutes early on the off chance Beca showed up earlier. While she was waiting, Chloe tried to distract herself with some music. But she just wasn't in the mood for anything that she normally listened to. No matter what she did, her mind kept going back to Beca.

The first part of her plan had been easier, then she had initially thought. Beca's boss didn't hesitate to say yes to anything that Chloe had asked him. In fact, the redhead was pretty sure she could have gotten more money out of him if she had tried a little harder. But she didn't want to press her luck. The most important thing was getting Beca away from work and out of her apartment.

The second part of Chloe's plan was going to be harder. But nothing worth doing was ever easy, she kept telling herself over and over again.

Eventually, Beca pulled into the shelter on an old Harley Davidson and Chloe wasted no time exiting her car to greet her.

"Hey, Chloe," Beca said as she got off her bike.

"I want a ride," Chloe said with a giggle.

"Yeah, like that's ever going to happen," Beca scoffed.

"Why I'm not bad-ass enough?" Chloe said as she rubbed her hand on the bike's handlebars.

"Well, for one, I don't have a helmet," Beca said. "And for another, I ride alone."

"Oh, we got a bad-ass over here! She's too cool to ride with other people," Chloe announced to the empty parking lot.

Beca chuckled at Chloe's over the top remarks as she unzipped her black leather jacket. Chloe caught her self, staring as Beca removed her jacket and sat it on her bike. Beca was wearing a tight Dark blue shirt with matching jeans. Chloe was sure Beca caught her staring, but the smaller woman didn't say anything. She simply said, "Lead the way, red."

Chloe couldn't help thinking about how their outfits matched as they walked to the shelter's main entrance. The redhead was wearing a blue button-up shirt with matching denim capris. It was almost as if they had coordinated what to wear.

"I will get that ride one way or another," Chloe whispered into Beca's ear as she entered the shelter. The softness of the redhead's voice was enough to send shivers down Beca's back.

Once in the shelter, the two women were greeted by a smaller woman named Cathy, who gave Beca and Chloe both a mop and a bucket. She then took them to a room where the dogs were usually kept and left them to work

"So how come no one else is here?" Beca asked as she began to mop.

"Well, to be honest, my group is pretty small right now," Chloe replied.

"How small?" Beca asked.

"Including you, there are four of us," Chloe said confidently.

"Let me guess; the other members are Cora and Aubrey?" Beca asked.

"Yeah.." Chloe replied, trying not to make eye contact. She didn't want Beca to figure out that Chloe had set this up so that it would be just the two of them at the shelter. Knowing her luck, Beca would think her some kind of strange pervert. But the truth was Chloe thought Beca would be more comfortable if it were just them and no one else.

"You know my boss only agreed to this because he wants to fuck you," Beca said.

"I know, but what's a girl to do?" Chloe said, trying not to think too much about the implications of her actions.
