Evelyn's POV

I'm officially elated! I can't believe this is happening!

I was happy with Mark but not like this, this is a whole new level. Maybe I was only happy with Mark because I knew I wanted someone on my side, I felt like the world was against me. But being with Dimitri is a whole new feeling.

I feel like I could run a million miles without losing my breath. Like I can conquer the world if I wanted. I feel powerful being this happy.

My hair is down, loosely hanging. I'm wearing black skinny jeans with a red low cut shirt, showing a beautiful amount of cleavage.

Raeni and Kim suggested that we go to a wine and art day. They've already scheduled all of us, plus Martin! Wine, art, and friends sounds like a good day to me!

Hopefully what I'm wearing is okay, I went for casual, but sexy. At least I think this is a little sexy, I'm not sure.

I don't do much makeup, knowing if I do try to put more than just my usual, I'll look like a poorly paid clown.

After spraying my perfume, I check the time. I have thirty minutes before they get here to pick me up.

Deciding to spend more time with Dimitri before I leave, I enter his room and hear him suck in air through his nose.

"Where are you going looking that good?" He smiles smoothly.

I laugh. "A wine and paint thing with Raeni, Kim, and Martin. Does it look okay?"

His eyes roll. "Okay? I want to rip them off of you right now."

While laughing with him, I sit next to him on his bed.

We talk about what work is going to be like once we go back, which will be in a few days. He said that everything will be normal for the most part. I'll still work on his floor with him, he will still work in the same office. Although he did bring up how he'd come out more just to see me. I think that's super sweet.

We also talk about if we should tell our parents, and if we do, what we would say. Ultimately we decided to not bring it up yet. We agreed to just be with each other for a little bit and ease into the relationship before telling our parents.

Time goes by quickly by the sound of a car horn beeps in the driveway. "Have fun piccola. Don't drink too much." He winks.

I giggle and promise I won't get drunk before leaving the room and going out the front door.

"Hey guys!" I say happily jumping into the back seat. "Where's Kim?" I ask, noticing she isn't with us.

"She's going to meet us there, she said she will probably be a few minutes late." Martin answers.

I wonder what she's doing, I hope she's okay.

"Where have you been girly? You haven't been at work or answering any of our texts and calls for two weeks! I thought you died!" Raeni complains.

"I'm sorry," I grab her shoulder while she drives, "something important came up and I had to be away for a while. I wasn't ignoring you guys or anything, I was just busy."

She smiles. "As long as you're alright." She pats the hand I laid on her shoulder. I'm happy she's forgiving.

"We were pretty worried about you. I'm glad you're alright but next time can you give us a little warning before you fall off the grid?" Martin asks.
