"Hey I'm here!" I texted him
"Perfect, come on up and I'll let you in."
Not too much happened that day honestly, we spent the day watching tv, talking and laughing, just enjoying each other's company.
It's now 2 am and neither of us have made a comment about when I should head out...or if I even should.
"Ah, well it's getting pretty late.." I said kind of vague, leaving the idea out in the open for him to suggest I just stay with him.
"Well, I don't want to make you uncomfortable because I know you said no last time, but like I said before, the offer is always there if you'd like to stay over."
My heart starting racing, but I knew it was what I wanted.
"You know what, I may actually take you up on that offer...that'd be nice" I said with a small grin spread across my cheeks.
"Really??" You could see on his face how happy that made him, he didn't expect me to take him up on his offer.
We headed downstairs to his room and he closed the door behind us.
"Why don't we put on a movie for bed." He suggested.
We both got under the sheets and set up the movie on his laptop.
"Just let me know when you're feeling tired and I can head to the couch so you can sleep here."
Huh. So he really didn't expect anything to happen after all of this. Thinking of him sleeping on the couch without me was the last thing on my mind.
"Um, that's ok actually, you can sleep here, I don't mind." I said shyly, hoping not to make things awkward.
"Really? Ok, as long as you're comfortable with it." He smiled, then proceeded to take off his shirt, getting ready for bed.
Now I don't know if I made some sort of noise, or whispered something under my breath as a reaction to him getting undressed, but it apparently loud enough for him to quickly turn to me and laugh with the biggest grin on his face.
"Hah, what was that about hey?" He said flirtatiously, obviously trying to make me flustered.
And he succeeded.
"Erm, nothing! I didn't say anything..."
We both knew that was a lie but didn't entertain the thought.
He laid on his back and I on his chest, feeling how fast his heart was beating, I let out an admired giggle.
"Oh my goodness, what're you giggling at now woman"
"Oh nothing nothing, I just like listening to your heartbeat."
He smiled, then gently pushed my head deeper into his chest and started running his fingers through my hair. It was at this moment that I knew. I was in far too deep. I was falling in love.
I wanted to kiss him. That was the only thing on my mind in that moment and time. I've never been the first one to initiate the first kiss, so my heart was outside of my chest.
I looked up at him and just stared. Stared at him the same way he did to me before. Every being in me wanted to just not say a word and grab him by the face and just kiss him...but I couldn't, I had never been this nervous with a guy before, and because of that all I could do was just stare into those hazel eyes and smile at him.
He smiled back. "May I help you with something??" He said as he continued to play with my hair.
"No sir. Just wanted a look."
He blushed and pushed my face away.
"Watch the movie you dork..."
I just laughed. I love laughing with him, he makes things so easy you know?
I continued to lay my head on his chest and we eventually both fell asleep in each others arms.
January 4th
I woke up to his alarm blasting in my ear from under the pillow. Scared the shit out of me.
We both roll over as we're just waking up.
I let out a giggle, looking at his crazy curly bed head.
