Blind Date

A/N: Someone - your friends, your parents, some family member, whoever - set you up on a blind date. That doesn't mean it goes according to plan.

Tanjiro:

Tanjiro was happy to hear that you had been set up with someone. So when who else but Genya showed up, he was dumbfounded. Happy for both of you, but utterly dumbfounded. How had anyone roped him into this?

Genya seemed just as surprised to see him. Face red, he insisted that he'd been set up, and he didn't know he'd be seeing any of you. He stormed off right as you came to the door, having given yourself another two minutes to fix some smudged concealer. When you expressed confusion, he said the guy just didn't show up (mostly so Genya wouldn't feel embarrassed later. Or at least, that's what he told himself).

You ended up just going on a walk with Tanjiro, intent on not wasting the effort you'd put into dressing up a little more than usual.

Nezuko:

You had heard from a cousin about a cute guy she had met in one of the surrounding villages, so she arranged for you two to meet. It just so happened that you were on a mission near that very village, and there also happened to be a festival happening. Two for the price of one - you meet a cute guy, and you take down a menace!

Nezuko couldn't help but feel a little pouty when you dolled yourself up for the festival and ditched your group to meet the guy, wishing she could've walked around with you. But she still has Tanjiro to walk with, and Zenitsu and Inosuke seemed just as eager to take in the local food and festivities.

At some point, she wandered away from the boys and found herself near where you were sitting and laughing with this guy. Something about him seemed... off. But as soon as she realized what exactly it was, you were pulling out your katana and leaping at him, all levity gone.

What luck. Your date turned out to be a demon in disguise. Nezuko rushed to your aid, but he headed for the rooftops, taunting you all the way.

You eventually took him down, but at the cost of a nice kimono you'd spent a lot of your money on. As you walked home, you lamented that at least you weren't left totally disappointed.

Zenitsu:

Zenitsu couldn't help but froth with jealousy. You? On a date? With someone else?

With enough needling, he managed to find out from one of your friends where you were meeting someone - and sure enough, he's staking it out. Totally so he can save you in case the guy was a creep! Definitely for no other reason!

The longer the date goes on, the more he sulks. You seemed to be having a genuinely good time with the guy, and he hadn't done anything so far that could provide a justifiable excuse for him to come to the rescue.

Eventually, he gave up and went back to the inn - and then you came back an hour later, aglow from a successful date. You couldn't help but talk about him, detailing everything you did to your friends.

When Zenitsu gets in a jab about you falling in love with the guy, you laughed. "Zenitsu, don't be such a stick in the mud. It was just a harmless little outing. It's not like I'm planning to marry the guy!"

Inosuke:

When you mentioned that you were going on a blind date, he was utterly confused. Blind? Date, like the fruit? Zenitsu gives him the rundown, and he's even more confused. Why would you agree to go on a romantic hangout with someone you didn't even know? Still, he waits for you to get back - and you come back a mess, damp and dripping with water and a mystery blood smear on your cheek.
