"Alright, Mr. Miller. Are you ready for the tour?" I couldn't shake the feeling of this man. He even sounded like William. But I knew my mind was just playing games with me...William was gone.

"Please, just call me Dave, and yes I am, dear." He even used those stupid pet names...I held back tears trying to forget the harsh memories.

"Is something wrong?" Dave asked, walking beside me.

"It's just that...you remind me of someone." I sighed in defeat.

"Who?" Dave asked with full curiosity.

"Just someone special to me..." I continued to glance at the checkered floor as I painfully thought of William.

"What was his name?" Dave continued.

"I don't know if I should tell you. I'm sure you've heard him on the news...don't want to scare you." I shot him a fake smirk while his face remained confused.

"Hm, nope. Name?" Damn, he was stubborn. I rolled my eyes as we approached the kitchen.

"This is the kitchen. Don't go in here unless you're told and don't mess with the chefs...they're very grumpy." I ignored his previous question as I continued to ramble. In hopes he'd drop it.

"You're very grumpy." Dave inquired. I let out a low growl as we slowly moved onto the next area.

"You'd understand if you knew." I answered bluntly, not caring what he had to say in response.

"I'd like to know. Maybe we could get coffee sometime..?" Coffee. That was another thing William was so fond of. I shook my head. I need to stop thinking of that murderer!

"I don't know. The man I'm waiting for may possibly still be alive." I tried to give as little detail as possible. But it was as if Dave understood ever word I said.

"Then don't consider it a date. I just want to get to know you, love." Dave and I came to a hault as we approached Funtime Foxy's room.

"Fine."

I should've denied Dave on that coffee date. I seriously was not ready for it. I've barely even talked to a man, besides Henry, since William left!

Sure, I'd have guys flirting with me. But I'd never per-sue them on it. It was just too painful and I wasn't sure if I could learn to trust again after William left me.

Sighing, I walked inside the coffee shop and sat down at the booth Dave was in.

"Good morning, Y/N." Dave sipped his coffee.

"Morning, Dave...what exactly did you want to know?" My eyelids drooped, slightly glaring.

"I just want to get to know this William guy." Dave responded nonchalantly. But that only made me more confused. Why was he so eager on getting to know me...especially William? Did he know something I didn't?

"What do you want to know?" I sipped into my own mug.

"What was he to you?" Ah, that's why. He's probably just trying to learn my love life so he can get with me. Typical.

"Listen, Dave. I'm not really interested in dating right now. I'm still getting over William." I answered honestly, but truth was...I may never get over him. Hell, I live with his kids!

"I'm aware. Tell me about William." Dave replied sternly. Was the man really just curious about my personal life? I couldn't read Dave. He was so mysterious? He's definitely different from past employees I'll say that.

"Um, well, William and I were pretty much a thing. We met at Freddy's. I honestly didn't like him at first but I guess things change. Our time together was too short and most of it was painful. But it was better spent with him than anyone else." Dave looked appalled. As if he was still registering what I said. He even stiffened slightly. The silence was too loud so I decided to continue.

"I took in his children after he left. I just thought it as his goodbye wish. Besides, I love his children as much as I love myself. I wouldn't dare abandon them." I smiled at the thought of the three Afton's. Dave's mood lightened as well.

"That's really sweet of you, love." I shivered at the nickname. I was still getting used to someone else calling me that besides William. Maybe it is time to move on...

"Yeah...as William would've said to me, maybe you should meet them sometime?" I grinned. It was worth giving this Dave guy a shot. Also he was very hot-

"I'd love to, daring..." Dave hesitated. "Don't give up on William yet." My eyes widened. Did he know William was alive? If so, what's their connection?!

"I didn't plan on it. But why are you so curious about him?" I wasn't sure to think if Dave was some secret detective, or another hidden brother of William's.

"Uh...just curious. It seemed to be a pretty easy topic to get you to ramble about." Dave chuckled. I blushed slightly now realizing how much I said about William.

"If he ever comes back...do NOT say a word about all I said." I remained serious. Dave held a sly smirk on his face, obviously enjoying my torture.

"Sure thing, dear." Dave chuckled as he took one last sip out of his coffee.

"Anyways, I know nothing about you. Tell me." My tone shifted to a more calmer one. Truth be told, this guy was hella shady. He just waltzed in here and asked me about my boyfrie-...why did I trust him with this information?

"I'm 27 years old. I grew up in Hurricane and I got the job at Freddy's because I'm interested in mechanics." It was definitely believable. But I still wanted to know more.

"Hm, alright. But why at Freddy's? Haven't you heard about the murders?" I knew that slipped out of my mouth, but I didn't regret it. For some reason, I felt like this guy wasn't going to run.

"Yes, I have. But I heard a rumor that Afton wasn't the cause of them." Dave's face remained emotionless. How did he know so much?

"Most of them." I corrected him.

"True."

Huh?
