I stand on snow, nonblinking, as I look into countless faces that are unfamiliar to me.

My grandfather sits in the middle of these people, he's the only one surrounded by flora. Perhaps because he's the only one without a shadow hiding his face, he looks so happy and I am incapable of saying anything. He is holding something, a photo. I stepped through the crowd as I feel their eyes on me and I halt behind my grandfather, staring at a photo of him, with his brother, and a face I have seen before.

I don't give away any emotion, but deep down...

I am screaming.

Falling. Falling into the depths of water, waiting for me to drown.

Memories and images flashed in my mind, and the people surrounding us began muttering... Until it turned into screaming. Images I didn't want to acknowledge haunted me like never before, and it finally clicked.

"Eren... Can you hear me...?"

This is... It's--

I opened my eyes slowly, blinking many times to adjust my sight to the blinding light. My hands were chained to the walls and more cuffs tied me to the floor by the waist, I couldn't speak because of the metal gag. I lowered my head and found myself in a white, strapless dress. It was long, maybe too long. I heard footsteps and I looked at Historia walking towards me with a worried expression, I didn't tell her anything about this, and she knows that I knew something like this would happen.

I couldn't keep myself from crying, and tears began flowing down. Everything, from the dreams, the images, the memories, all of this shit... It's ruining me. But it's now or never, I must confirm the theory, both Yadhi's and mine. How long as it been since I got captured? 2 days? Maybe more?

"(Y/N), you're awake? Just hang in there a while longer. Please, listen to me. My father has been an ally to all of humanity within the walls, for many years past and many years to come. We were clearly mistaken about him. It's true that he's been a problem for the Scouts, and his people did kill Pastor Nick... But he didn't have any other choice. Everything he's done, he had to do for the sake of humanity." Tears kept running down my cheeks as an old man stepped closer. Rod Reiss. "Historia, let me explain the rest."

I looked around the place, it was beautiful, the pillars glowing so elegantly in a mixture of white and blue. I watch Historia and her father stepping up the stairs to come to me. "What's wrong? This is the first time you've come here. Though, it wouldn't be strange if you recognize it."

I almost snorted. Margaret told him I have the Founding Titan.

"F-Father, explain to (Y/N)."

"Yes, I intend to. However, there's something I want to try first." Maybe Eren should've been here to see what has truly happened to him and his father, but who knows, maybe he already found out by what Hange discovered. "If we do this, she may remember all on her own." Historia touched my back, and for a few seconds I didn't feel anything, until my blood began boiling unexpectedly, and voices whispered in my head. I glanced back slowly, both our eyes widening without her father noticing. What... Was that...?

Historia rested a hand on her head, a small tear appearing in her eye. "Well? Did you remember? Your father's sin..." Rod said to me and turned to his daughter.

"Why...? Why this...?" She muttered.

"You met Frieda." The blonde looked at his father with a slightly confused expression, not knowing what he was talking about. "If who you saw was a young girl with long, black hair... It was most likely Frieda Reiss. She was your half-sister, she must have been worried and came to check up on you occasionally. If she was erasing your memories, it was all done to protect you." Historia averted her eyes even more, and I furrowed my eyebrows as she began remembering alone, with no necessity of touching the Founding Titan. What is happening?!
