Chapter 18

After I calmed down from my panic attack, we began speaking about the matter at hand. Not only were we expecting it to not make sense, but also some kind of plot twist, the reason grandpa Dhalis disappeared and never came back is because he was trapped here. "So that's it. This world and ours are connected somehow? I don't find it hard to believe really." Needless to say, Haco was still overreacting. He might be the genius in the group but he's not good in stressful situations. "This tells me we were destined to come here, as stupid as it sounds." Acay started, lowering his gaze. "We should stop treating this as a joke and start making serious plans. Because... What happens if one of us gets killed...?" We furrowed our brows as we gazed at Acay with widened eyes.

"Take that out of your head. There's no point in thinking about death when you're so young." Grandpa added. Both are right, now that we have permission to do what we want, we should definitely not lose time and do a brief preparation of plans before reuniting with the others.

"You're the man that gave their own waste to prisoners and you're saying to take our heads out of death..." Yadhi muttered as she grabbed papers and a pencil. "And the man that forced the prisoners to do that happens to be your family." Zachary grinned at us and it almost made Yadhi throw out. He has a point, we probably got the looks of our grandfather, but in nature, we are mostly like his brother, back at the expedition, Haco was so mad at Annie that he was capable of almost chopping the arm of her titan form, and just thinking that my younger cousins were considering killing someone... "How about we just forget about that and get back to work?" I implored and my family agreed. Haco was sure to give out most of our information along with grandpa. The date that each of us appeared here including Margaret, where we opened our eyes, the first thing we did, strange feelings and smells, relationships, etc...

"About the name Dhalis Zachary, is it truly your name?" I questioned with curiosity, receiving a shake of the head from him. "My name is Lisandre (L/N)."

Acay snorted. "You are a Lisandre? Really?"

"Stop making fun, I know how dumb the names from my time are. Oh, one thing, know that after this I am publicly announcing that you are my relatives." Haco and I weren't necessarily surprised at this, but the same couldn't be said for Acay and Yadhi. "That means we'll have to wear the Zachary name! We have infinite power!"

"Don't be stupid, Acay." Haco started, making their mouths pout as he looked at grandpa. "We will accept that, but please only announce that to the Three Regiments and the Monarchy." I couldn't agree more Haco, it could be dangerous, not only for us but for the Scouts. "We don't want anyone on our asses asking questions when they see who we are. It will be enough with our Squad." I affirmed. He agreed, grandpa didn't want to lose his line of sight with us. I'm afraid we won't be able to follow Eren to the basement in Shiganshina, seeing as our plan to look for a way out is to disappear from their lives--

My head started to hurt, and grandpa helped me to sit. I saw more flashes I didn't recognize and broke the cup in my hand by accident. I flinched and stared at the rapidly healing wound. "More memories, (Y/N)?" Acay asked as everyone stared at me.

"This is getting annoying..." I muttered under my breath, not once breaking my stare. I thought they would've stopped by now, I guess I was wrong.

I walked outside and felt fresh air hit my face, the moon still in the middle of the night sky. I sat on a bench as I inhaled and exhaled many times, and I heard footsteps and a door closing. I raised my head and saw Eren, his eyes widening slightly but he didn't lose time and walked toward me. "Did you... That man--" The teen was getting a bit angry at millions of thoughts in his head, and I decided to stop him before he would do something irrational. "Nothing like that, he just called us to chat a little." He visibly relaxed and sat beside me. "Is Historia going to accept the demands of the Regiment?" I questioned, and Eren nodded. Knowing how the true her is, she is forcing herself to do this when in reality all she wants is to be with Ymir.
