Chapter 16: Final Smashdown at the Bridge

Third P.O.V 

Kit and Miko quickly make their way to where Five was located on the tracker, which was a junkyard. "Five! Where's Sino?" Kit asked as she drops down from RoboCat. "On a rampage." Five said in a panic. "It's about to get worse. According to BITT, if we don't get that glitch out of him quick, the glitch could take over permanently." Miko explained. "I just wish I knew where he was going." Five said. "Well, if he's following the game program, didn't you say Smashozaur games always ended on a large bridge?" Miko asked. 

"A bridge. Let's go get our friend back." Five aid as she activated his tech gear. Five and Miko ride on Ally as Kit rode on RoboCat. "Hey, it's Mitch!" Kit pointed out. "Oh, man. Where did he come from?" Five said with worry. "Mitch only cares about the XP. Mush!" Miko said as she ushered Ally. "Miko, you and Five deal with Casino. I'll handle Mitch." Kit said as she goes towards Mitch's van. Miko helped Five get to the bridge faster by using a portal. Miko decided to hold off at the front while Kit was still on Mitch's van. 'I've had just about enough of you two!" Mitch said as he first tried to get kit off his car. But then started to charge at Miko. Mitch began to panic as Miko wasn't turning away. 

Upon impact, Kit activated the kitten bubble blaster. Encasing all of them, even Ally and the Van, in a bubble. "Eeee! I did it! Did you guys see that?' Kit said as she floated inside Mitch's van with cats in her arms. "You're loving this aren't you?" Mitch grumbled as he crossed his arms. "Yes I am, boop!" Kit said as she booped Mitch's nose, then proceeds to snuggle more kittens. Come on Mitch, I know you like cats." Kit said, remembering he had a pet cat when she would watched his streams. "Ugh, how much longer before we lose air in this thing?" Mitch grumbles. 

Meanwhile with Five and Casino, they were at a stand-still as they faced each other on the bridge. "Well, look who showed up for a reunion." Casino said, his voice sounded more robotic and glitchy. "Sino, the fun's over. We have to get this glitch out of you." Five said. "Oh, no. I know what face. Five wants to forget me again." Casino said. "I didn't forget you Casino. That's the glitch talking!" Five said. 

"Five, I haven't seen you in two whole years!" Casino said in anger. "It hasn't been that long. Has it?" Five asked in realization. "Yeah, time really allied when you're having fun. Without me." Casino said. "Casino, I'm sorry, I didn't realize. But I'm here now." Five says. "Yeah, so let's finish this! I want to,...smash!" Casino said as he grew bigger. The moment he smashed his foot on the ground, the glitch changed the bridge to the same setting as in the game. "Smash..." Casino continues as he grabs a piece of the ground. "Smash it!" Casino said as he threw the rock. Only for Five to stop it with his gauntlet. 

" I can't let you do that." Five said as he broke the rock, and then went to his gauntlet to activate some amor. "You really want to finish this? Let's finish it!" Five said as he activated the smashozaur amor. The two of them begin the match with a jump in the air and a punch at each other, the two of them stopping it with their own fist colliding. Five throws pieces of rubble at Casino; while Casino takes a piece of the bridge and uses it to try and crush Five. 

They then begin to wrestle each other. "Yeah, that's it! Now say it with me, 'smash, smash-." Casino said as the glitch started to try and posses Five. "No Casino! I'm through playing!" Five said as he pushed Casino away. Casino then continues to punch five, taking him by the tail and smashing him into the ground. He then throws Five as the side of the bridge, where the amor is now broken. Five groans and makes his way out of the amor suit, Casino taking a bolder and was about to smash Five. 

But then two blasts hit Casino. "Aren't you two smashed out already?" Miko asked as she and Kit aims their gauntlet at Casino. Casino throws the bolder at Miko's direction, but Five jumps in the way. The bolder breaks the amor in pieces as Five is launched into Miko. Casino began to laugh as he inspects the damage, but then it falters as he sees Five and Kit on the floor. "Five! Kit! You two okay? Say something!" Casino says in his normal voice. 

Five sniffles a bit and then started to sneeze rapidly due to the smoke and dust that was in the air. Casino, Miko, and Kit laugh at Five's sneezes. "See? Like a chipmunk with hiccups." Casino laughs. "Casino the glitch!" Kit yells out. "I know, I can feel it! Get out of me, you glitch!" Casino said, as he successfully breaks free from the glitch. The glitch roars as it bust out. "Hey noobs!" Mitch laughs as he comes in and sucks the glitch into his gauntlet. "Thanks for the distraction." Mitch said as he brushed his hair back. "Hehehe, n-no problem M-mitch." Kit stuttered. "What evs" Miko said. Kit and Five then go to make sure Casino was alright. Mitch then goes to wipe out the fisherman's memory and reset him, and to see if there were other by standers. 

"Sino! Are you alright?" Kit asked as Five rubbed his back. "Yeah, embarrassed mostly. Not sure what came over me. You know what would help? If a certain someone gave me a kiss to make me feel better." Casino teased as he nudged Kit. Mitch heard this and growled a little as he glared at Casino. "Yeah, not gonna happen buddy." Kit said. "Then I wish we cold just forget this all happened. "Actually..." Five said. "We can." Miko finished as they shared a look. They then reset Casino and he was back at the arcade, with no memory of that day's events. 

Five, Miko, Kit, and even Mitch, Kit convinced him to come, comes up behind casino in the arcade. "Hey buddy, Sorry we're late. It's been a really long day at work." Five said. "Yeah, whatever." Casino said, not sparing them another look. "I missed you hermano, It's been way too long." Five said as he hugged Casino. Kit joining in that hug. "Thanks guys. I missed you guys too." Casino said, Five picking up the second player controllers. "Awe, reunions give me the feels." Miko said. "Oh and this is my pal Miko. Mind if she joins in?" Five said, pointing at Miko. "And this is our work friend Mitch." Kit introduced as she pulled Mitch back by his arm because he was trying to escape. 

"What's up Miko? You bring your game face?" Casino asked. "Pssh, it's the only face I got." Miko said. "And you, are you trying to steal my Kit from me?" Casino joked as he wrapped his arm around Kit. Mitch had to fight the urge of punching this guy, but he just removed his arm from Kit casually. "Come on Mitch, you know you wanna join." Kit said in a singing voice. "Fine. One game." Mitch groaned. "Alright, then! Get ready to..." Casino started. "Smash, smash, smash it up!" The three of them say with enthusiasm as Mitch said monotone 'smash'.

Five, Miko and Casino was still playing Smashozaur while Kit and Mitch decided to sit that one out. "So...who is this Casino guy and what is he to you?" Mitch asked out of no where as the two of them lean on a near by game console watching the other three play. "Haha, what Mitch? Jealous?" Kit teases as she took a sip of her drink and wiggled her eye brows. "Just answer the question noob." Mitch grumbled. "Hehe, he's just my brother's best friend. We three have been friends ever since we were kids. He just likes to flirt with me that's all." Kit said. Mitch didn't want to admit how relived he was that this guy didn't mean anything to Kit. 

"Ok." Mitch said with a shrug. "Awe, you sure you aren't jealous Mitch?" Kit teased as she nudge him. "No! Just...concerned is all." Mitch said as he crossed his arms. "Even more shocking!" Kit said with a dramatic gasp. "Shut up. Let's go play another game." Mitch said as he began to walk off with his hand in his jacket pockets. Kit following after him. Casino peaked real quick from the console, seeing the two walk off, and then return his focus to the screen again. 

"Hey Five, is your sister and that guy dating?" Casino asked. "Who? Mitch? Haha, no. But she is obsessed over him." Five said as he was playing. "And it would be a miracle but also the end of the world if Mitch return the same feelings." Miko said. Little did anyone know, Mitch was slowly warming up to the short pigtailed girl as he watches her play a co-op game with him. He couldn't help but stare at her. She had a determined look on her face as she franticly hit the buttons and moved the joy-con around. 

In Mitch's eyes, her hair was shimmering as it swayed around and the game screen light shined on it. "Mitch! I kinda need your help over here!" Kit said as she was being chased in the game and his character wasn't moving. Only for the screen to flash 'game over' in red text. Kit groveling to the ground in defeat as she screamed 'no' for a long time. Mitch rolls his eyes at her, as she's being overdramatic, and swipe his card for another play. Which causes her to immediately change moods back to happy and went to start playing agin.
