Chapter 9: Game Glitch!

Third P.O.V

Phil, BITT and Barbra was currently in the locker room as the first destination for the inspection. "Well this store did suffer a recent glitch attack during a public gaming event,..." Barbra said. Phil noticing a yellow bunny glitch in The open locker, quickly closing it before Barbra saw.

"And I'm here to make sure it doesn't happen again." Barbra finished as she glared at Phil, who just smiled sheepishly. "Uh, that glitch was chased by faulty software that corporate' approved. Since then, this store's antivirus programs has detected zero hazards." Phil said as he crossed his arms. "Am i right BITT?" Phil asked confidently.

"That is correct. It detected no hazard because it ha snot been running." BITT said, of course saying what he is programmed to say: the truth. Barbra gave an angry look to this revelation and Phil was flabbergasted at this sudden news. "Because you paused the download update to stream the season finale of... familia de policías." BITT said as he showed the show that Phil watches on the screen. Phil looks at Barbra and gulps.

With an unamused look, Barbra raised her pen and clicked the screen to log an infraction. "Oh, Phil. You're only allowed 3 total infractions." Barbra said, seeing Phil getting scared by possibly being shut down. "So...what happens at 4?" Phil asked, relived. "My bosses close the store, fire you and memory wipe your entire staff." Barbra said with a straight face.

"Ok! Then let's keep it to three." Phil said sheepishly. "Great!" Barbra said as she continued the inspection.

Kitty's P.O.V

"Woohoo!" Miko said with a fist bump into the air. Five playing the game. "The crowd can't look! They are nauseated! Regretting every life choice that lead them to attend this event" Five said as he used the Snot Rocket character to beat up Scabs McGee. "Yeah no kidding." I said giggling but also grimacing at the gross graphics and sounds of this game. "Final finish!" The game said as Five did a combo defeat on the opponent.

"My turn!" Miko said as she snatched the controller from Five. "Eeny, meeny, mighty gross, pick the one who stinks the most." Miko said as she moved the joystick to choose a character. "You have selected Gabriel." The game said. Showing the avatar and it's stats. "Wow, look at bio." I said as I clicked a few buttons on the controller as Miko held it.

"Garbile escapes space prison after being out there by his rival Sanitron." Five read. But then next thing we know there is a giant red 'G' on the screen. "It froze up on me!" Miko said. The game was glitching on the screen and the audio and then the game shut off, but the Game was still there. "Um guys...I don't think the 'G' on the rating meant 'gross'..." I said as I backed up a bit. "You mean, I could of meant..." Five said but was interrupted by the screen popping out green pixels and Garbilr actually coming out! "GLITCH!" We all said at the same time.

Garbile laughs, "who wants to tussle with the mess master of muscle!?" Garbile said as he stoke a pose. "We are so fired." Miko said as we all looked at the Glitch. "E-easy, fella. Nobody wants to fight." Five said as he tried to calm the glitch down. "What's the matter, brother? Too afraid to get your hands dirty?" The Glitch asked, then he leaped into the air.

"Pretty much. RUN!" Five said as we split up. Avoiding the hit from the glitch. It then grabs Five and throws him across the room. "I'll mop the floor with ya!" It said as it farted towards five to give him another hit. Miko and I trying to help him up, but also avoid touching all the sludge on him. Miko and I manage to get Five out of the way and she grabbed Five by the shirt. "We need glitch gauntlets!" Miko said. Knowing that glitch gauntlets were the only way to get rid of this thing.

"We could have gotten them if we had finished the tutorial, but somebody decided to destroy Helpie." Five said, reminding Miko that she didn't want to do the tutorial in the first place. "And I'd do it again!" Miko said as she pointed at Five. "Besides you were the one who just had us play Nobi Gross Out." Miko said, reminding Five he was the one that encouraged playing the game over finishing the tutorial. "I know right? Nobody is going to believe it." Five said forgetting the real issue at hand. "I'm just an innocent bystander" I say with my hands up as I leaned against the wall.

The glitch then noticed, not that it too much effort, where we were and started shooting green gunk at us. Making us scream.

Third P.O.V

Unfortunately Phil, Barbra, and BITT were passing by the simulator room where Five, Miko and Kitty we're completing the tutorial. "If someone in the simulator?" Barbra asked as they heard a thud coming from the simulation room. "Oh yeah, the um new trainees are taking the tutorial." Phil said with a smile.

"Ugh! I remember the tutorial. No wonder they're pounding on the door. Oooh, let's say hello." Barbra said wanting to see how the trainees were doing.

Inside the training room Five was running from Garbile as it tries to fight him. Miko and Kitty standing in shock bear the sludge covered door. "Open the door, open the door!" Five screams as he gets kicked by the Glitch. Miko and Kitty work together to get the door open through all the gunk but then they see Phil down the hall approaching them. "Ah! Phil's coming!" Miko said as Kitty tried to close the door again. "Ahh!  Close the door!  Close the door!" Five screams as he's getting womped to the ground by Garbile. It then spits out more gunk, covering the door even more.

Outside the door Phil tries to open it but it wouldn't budge. "Hehe...that's perfectly normal door behavior is what that is." Phil said nervously as he looked at Barbara. Trying to open the door by punching in the code. "Um, you guys alright in there?" Phil asked as he put his head near the door to listen for an answer.

But they were not doing alright. Garbile has all three of them in a headlock, laughing. Squishing them into his green, gross, gunk filled body. "It stinks! It stinks!" Miko said as the green gunk practically consumed her.

Phil heard her response, "yeah we all know that tutorial stinks. Why don't you pause it now and just open the door?" Phil asked. Thinking that Miko was talking about the tutorial. "Sticky door are a safety hazard Phil. If this was an emergency—." Barbara said as she was about to take not of this. However, Phil grabbed her pen from her and laugh nervously. "It's not a problem. BITT why don't you show Barbara here how handy you can be?" Phil asked. "My pleasure sir." BITT said.
