Chapter 20: Multiplayer Glitches

(Start of Episode 6! Also as I'm publishing these chapters, I can't remember if I gave her robot cat a name. So sorry if it changes all of a sudden💀)

Third P.O.V 

It was another day at work as Miko, Five, and Kit shoot at a swarm of glitches flying in the sky. "Their shields are down, so let's split up." Five pointed as the pink shield that surrounded the others disappeared. "Miko and I will aim high while you-." Kit started but Miko interrupted. "On it!" Miko said as she summoned Ally and hopped on her. Kit summoning Cy-Nyan, her robo-cat, to help her up. The three of them shoot at the glitches until they were all gone. 

"Dream team!" Miko said as she and Kit landed back on the ground. The three of them cheering. "Who's the best bird int he universe? You are! Yes, you are!" Miko said with a baby voice. "Awe Cy-Nyan, you did great. Momma is so proud of you." Kit said also with a baby voice and sparkles in her eyes. Feeding Cy-Nyan some pixilated tuna from her gauntlet. Ally and Cy-Nyan put their heads towards Five for him to give them praises. "Nice work you two." Five said as he pet them both on the head. 

"Hey Mitch! We took out that drone swarm for you!" Five called out to Mitch. "Yay, you ganked a few minions. Want a cookie for following orders?" Mitch said sarcastically as him, Zahra and Haneesh shoot at the bigger/main glitch. "I wouldn't mind a cookie. I should make cookies later!" Kit gasped with joy  "Haneesh, give Zahra a boost!" Mitch ordered. "On it!" Zahra said as she summoned a giant sword from her gauntlet. "Speed boost!" Haneesh said as he swiped out a speed boost for her. Zahra sliced off one of the tentacles on its face and landed back down. "Now back off and let me finish her." Mitch said. "Uh, what about its splash radius?" Zahra advised.

"That was an order." Mitch said sternly. "Okay then." Zahra said, backing off. The glitch roared and Mitch powered up his blaster on his gauntlet. "Boosh!" Mitch said as he shot the glitch. The glitch then exploded, and Mitch laughed triumphantly. Zahra and Haneesh already had their shields up to cover from the splash radius. Resulting in Mitch, who didn't have a shield out, to get covered in slime goop. He brushed off the goop on his face with a cough. The glitch was then contained by Haneesh. 

"Woah! Haneesh and Zahra were so cool out there." Five and Kit said at the same time. "Why don't you go talk to them?" Miko said. "What?!" Kit said in shock. "Uh, I dont know. I don't even know what to say." Five said. "Just say...Hi, you're p cool." Miko said as she put her hair up to look like Five. "And Kit you could say...Wow you guys were so awesome~!" Miko said as she put her hair in pigtails like Kit. "A lot of people find you adorable." Miko mentioned to Kit. "What!?" Kit said, again in shock. "You two can do it!" Miko said as she pushed Five and Kit towards them. 

They tumble over, catching the attention of Haneesh and Zahra. Kit nearly falling and Zahra catching her. "Woah there, you ok?" Zahra said to Kit. "U-uh, I uh..." Kit stuttered as she stood up straight. "Hi!" the twins said at the same time. "Hey, what's up?" Zahra greeted back. Mitch was gagging in the background from the slime. Half expecting Kit to run over to help him, but it didn't happen. He looked over and saw her in Zahra's hold before she stood up franticly. He noticed the usual behavior of her nervousness around Zahra, because she does it to him. Deep down, he felt jealous. 

"Um, we just wanted to say, uh...you guys are p cool." Five said. "A-and awesome!" Kit said, feeling her face get flushed in embarrassment. "Awe, thanks High Fly." Haneesh said. As a distraction, Mitch walked in between Zahra and Haneesh, coughing. "Thanks KitKat, see you guys." Zahra said as she helped Mitch back to his van, since he was coughing bubbles from the slime. "High fly?" Five said in defeat, seeing that they didn't know his name. "G-gah! They knew my name! A-and Zahra is so pretty up close!" Kit said franticly as she fanned her face. "Hey, on the bright side, they almost knew your name." Miko said, as a way to try and comfort Five.
