Chapter 19: Victory!

Third P.O.V 

 "Ugh, nothing's working. Give me something else! Anything!" Miko said as she shook Five. They then had to move because he knocked down the pillar they were hiding behind. "Let's see...uh, trophy, werewolf rib, uh, porcini mushroom." Five said as he passed it to Miko and she threw it at Nogrog, but none of those worked. "We're down to the dregs here!" Five said. "What's left?" Miko asked. "What about the spork?" Kit asked. Five fished out a shield and tossed Kit the spork. "Here." He said.

"What the heck is she supposed to do with this Five? Serve him a hot lunch?" Miko complained. Next thing they know Nogrog is shooting green lasers out of his third out. They spit up to avoid them. "Watch out for the lasers!" Five said as he noticed his arm turn into stone. Miko was hit on the leg and Kit was hit on the shoulder. "We're gonna end up like the others! Stuck in desperate and uncool poses!" Miko cried out in despair. Five seen the fireball about to hit Kit, who was being a bit weighed down by her stone shoulder.

Five swooped in and blocked the fire ball. Causing it to hit the statue that stood behind Nogrog. The arm of the statue fell off, resulting in Nogrog's arm also falling off. "Guys! Forget Nogrog! Just aim for the statue!" Five said as he helped Kit up. "With what Five!?" Miko yelled. "This." Kit said as she held up the spork dramatically. "Tis the legendary spword of Gygaggen!" Nogrog hissed. "I'm sorry did he say spword?" Miko asked.

Kit inspected the spork when it suddenly turned into a sword. Startling her as a blast was shot out of it. Hitting Bergy's statue and shaving half of his stone hair. "That shoots! Okay, Miko I'm gonna need a hand with this." Kit said as she gestured to her weighed down shoulder, and the fact that her normal arm was her non-dominant arm. While Miko still hand both arms. Nogrog continued to shoot fireballs at them.

Kit and Miko worked together to slash the sword in the air and attack the statue. Landing a hit at Nogrog's leg. "Inconceptual!" Nogrog yelled, doing another wave of laser strikes. Five lost his shield, Miko got hit in the hand, and Kit got hit on her other shoulder/arm. "Your almost out of time!" Nogrog laughs as he started to power up his laser attack again. Miko now struggled to help kit hold the sword, especially with her being almost immobile on both arms.

"Take my hand, and aim for the statue with the fabulous hair." Five said, repeating what Miko said to him. "And by that you mean Nogrog, and not Mitch right?" Kit said jokingly. The two gave her a 'really?' look. "Sorry, not the time for a joke?" Kit said as she stood in the middle of them, holding the sword. The three of them worked together to do one last strike to the statue. Succeeding; causing the statue to break in half completely and explode. "Who does you think you are?!" Nogrog yells as he turns to stone. Falling and breaking as he impacted the ground.

In big red and yellow letters, the word 'victory' stood above their heads; along with 10K XP gained from that fight. The stone was broken from their bodies and they powered up their tech gear. "We're the D team crumb bum!" Five said determinedly as he aimed his gauntlet at the glitch to capture it. "Oh yeah!" Kit said in triumph. The house turning back to normal behind them. Once it does, they see all of their coworkers that were captured sprawled throughout the house.

"Crum bum is catchy." Miko complimented. "I'm sayin'." Five said. Next thing they know Nix pops up awake first. "You saved our skins back there rooks. Thanks." Nix said as he gave a fist bump. "yeah, thanks you two. Hey let me ask you, did I at least look cool in my statue pose?" Bergy asked as he was next to wake up. The three of them then reminisce about all the photos they took of scared statue Bergy. "Sure...totally....I'm not great at lying." Miko said.

"What the..." Mitch said as he was next to get up. "What are you noobs doing here?" Mitch said as he dusted himself off. "Well, these noobs just completed the mission for all you pros. So you're welcome." Kit said with a proud smile. "Ugh, whatever. I only got caught because that game is boring and I didn't feel like playing it anymore." Mitch said as he swiped his hair back. Kit then though back on the photos she herself took of her and statue Mitch, while Miko was debating what pose to take when she's stuck. Remembering his scared statue. "Mitch, didn't you record a message before you got statued?" Zarah asked as she was next to get up.
