Chapter 8: Tutarials pt 2

Kitty's P.O.V

Inside the tutorial room we were startled by an adorable digital 'H' that had a face, arms and a hat. "Welcome, Glitch Tech newbies, or 'noobs' as we like to call you."  It giggled. "Oh no." Miko said with a horrified face. It must be hard for a high level gamer like her to be called a noob.

"I'm Helpie, your helpful host. Haha! In this tutorial, you'll learn the 'leet skills needed to pwn glitches as a first level Glitch Tech technicians!" Helpie said as it splits itself into 3s and one of them following Miko's eye view.

"I can't shake him!" Miko said as she kept trying to fight off Helpie. "Don't leave us like this, BITT!" She said as she hugs BITT. I giggle at her actions. "I'm sorry, but this tutorial is mandatory. No skipping ahead, shutting down, or requesting false pee breaks will be tolerated." BITT says as Miko slides down him.   Five, BITT, Helpie and I looking down at her as she's on the ground.

"Ooh! What about lunch break." I say with stars in my eyes." I ask with my hand up in the air like a child asking a question at school. "There's a vending machine in the main level. Caution on selecting the egg salad, however, we have lost 12.5 trainees that way." BITT said.

Miko still trying to fight Helpie, Five looking at Helpie with amazement as it performs some tricks and me cuddling Helpie and squishing it. BITT flying towards the door as it opens for him.

"Did you say point five? How do you lose half  a—." Five asked but was interrupted by BITT saying goodbye to us. The door shuts behind him as Miko yells out to him. Wanting to get out of this tutorial. "I see you're trying to punch something." Helpie said as it popped up in between Miko and the door, making a punching motion. Making her jump back.

"We'll cover that in step 12, punching." Helpie said as it giggles, making a cute face. "Gah! Too cute." I say as I snuggle the Helpie that was with me. "This is my nightmare." Miko said. "I know it's cheese, but, come on, we're three of the rare few who get to learn about game glitches and where they come from." Five said as Miko made her way back to us.

"Where do glitches come from?  Allow me to drop some knowledge on ya, playas." Helpie said. "The Hinobi central processed is a highly advanced but extremely delicate piece of equipment, so a glitch may occur as a result of corrupt software, overheating, under heating, sudden loud noises, sudden soft noises, poor ventilation, good ventilation, spillage..." Helpie said as it listed all of the things that could cause a glitch within a Hinobi product.

Third P.O.V

"Thank you for choosing Hinobi, where we're always game to help you." Phil said as he scanned an item for a customer. He frowns as he sees the customer is not paying attention, so then he screams "NEXT!". Capturing the boy's attention and got him to leave.

"Sir, there's still the matter of the I dread message in your—." BITT said as he hovered over to Phil. "BITT I'm with a customer." Phil said, interrupting BITT. Then a woman walks up to the font counter.

"Hey Phil." The woman said. "Bookworm Barbra?" Phil said, surprised to see her here. "Long time, huh?" She asked. "I haven't seen you since you were a rookie Glitch Tech." Phil said as he got out from behind the counter.

"You know, you had your nose buried in all those safety manuals." Phil said. "Sir the message is time sensitive." BITT said as he got in front of Phil again. Trying to express how urgent the message was, but Phil just pushed him aside. "You remember BITT? Yeah." Phil said as he chuckled. "Hinobi Corporate told me to trade him in years ago—."

"Very t-time sensitive." BITT said as he stuttered a bit. BITT continued to try and tell Phil about the message in his inbox that was very urgent to the situation at hand, but Phil continued to push him away as he talked to Barbra. "So what brings ya by, Bookworm?" Phil asks. "The 'fools' in Hinobi corporate. Safety inspector Number 7. Oh! I'm here to investigate the premises." Barbra said.
