Chapter 18: Boss Fight

Third P.O.V 

Still taking on the mini-boss, Five puts on some amor that was lying around and an axe. He kept charging and charging at the boss, but failed. Miko and Kit were occupying themselves by either watching or taking pictures. Kit and Miko 'ooo'ed as they saw Five decked out in all the gold amor he could find int he room and gold weapons. Charging at the guy and failing once again.

As Five looked up, he saw the mini-boss level up and aim his blades at Five. "Uh, okay Miko. I tired him out. But uh...maybe we could use a tag team here?" Five asked nervously as he smiled, trying to stay casual. "Really? Why?" Miko dragged out. "Uh...B-because...cause...Because I lied!"  Five said as he mini-boss cornered him against the spike wall. "Look, I never beat this game. So if you don't take over right now, we're gonna end up stuck here forever! Ok, Miko? Miko!" Five admitted, shocked to see Miko and his sister not any where in sight. 

The mini-boss aimed his saw blade at Five, inching closer and closer. "I never beat the game. I never beat the game." Five admitted. Suddenly, two hands emerged from the spiked wall and pulled him in through. "Huh?! Wha? Huh?" Five said in shock. Kitty and Miko laughing at his scared look. "I knew you never beat that game! You should see your face right now. Its all like..." Miko said as she imitated Five's face. 

"That spiked wall was-..." Five said in shock at he pointed at the wall. "Not so spike. Who'd a thunk?" Miko said as Kit poked at the wall, causing it to glitch a little. "So the only way to defeat the blade demon was...not to defeat it?" Five said in shock. "He said it himself. All who try shale fail. Truth." Miko imitated dramatically. Five was even more shocked at the realization. "I was stuck for so long hating on this game for being so impossible. When the answer was right in front of me the whole time." Five said. "Look, don't beat yourself up, hermano." Kit said as they continued on. "Yeah! That's just Castlestein, man. It gets in your head. You could of told me you never beat this game before you know. Like Kit." Miko said.

"In my defense, I only never got back on this game because Five was whining at how hard it was." Kit said. "I know...But you made such a big deal out of beating every game." Five explained. "Ok, maybe not every game. Besides, I wouldn't have thought any less of you. Beating one game isn't that important." Miko said. "Yeah, well, I'm gonna beat it now." Five said with determination, as the three of them got onto the platform that raises them up.

"Hear that Castlestein! I'm coming for you bro!" Five yelled out. "This elevator goes to Nogrog's clock tower. Ready for some classic boss battling?" Miko asked as the three of them put their fist on their hips. "Ready!" the twins said at the same time, cueing Miko to cut the rope and send them up. They propelled up and landed on the top floor; Nogrog appearing in front of the clock tower. "The time is nigh for you to join my collection!" Nogrog said as he sparkled and struck poses, tossing his cape around. Kit was captivated by the sparkles and a little captivated by Nogrog. "I put my heart and soul in them. You will enjoy everlasting life...as my toys." Nogrog said, Miko mouthing the words since she memorized this game. Nogrog ending his speech with a evil laugh.

"Why must the villains always be hot?" Kit said as her face turned red and flush, fanning herself. "Time is nigh...heart and soul...Mua-ha-ha." Five said, trying to analyze his words as a way to figure out how to beat him. "These must be clues to a riddle." Five concluded. "If I fall, you may rise, but time is always on my sides!" Nogrog said as he walked in the air and shaped his frame with his hands when he said 'sides'. "Or maybe this game's dialogue is just really bad." Five also added. "Just take my hand and learn the pattern. And aim for the guy with the fabulous hair." Miko said as she grabbed Kit's hand and held her other hand out to Five. 

"You got that right!" Kit said with determination. "Let's do this." Five said as well with determination. Nogrog started his attack pattern and Miko guided them through avoiding the hits on the first wave. "Got the pattern?" Miko asked the twins. "Got it!" the two responded. "Now!" Miko yelled after they got through another wave of attacks. They whipped out their weapons and charged at Nogrog. Striking him and causing him to explode, some pieces of rock falling in front of the way they came in. The three of them cheered triumphantly, thinking they defeated him.
