Chapter 2: Hinobi Smash pt. 2

Kitty's P.O.V

"Relax, bro. No matter what happens our there. We're all gamers." Mitch said as he put his arm around my brother. What I would do to be in his place righ now.

Then the announcer started to count down. "And gamers...play to win!" He said as he shoves Five. Making him knock into ME_K.O and falling off the platform. "Five!" I yell. "Hey, Kit." I turn around and it's Mitch. "Hope to defeat you at the final platform." He said with a wink and blew a kiss mockingly. But it still managed to get me frozen. Lucky for me my reflexes are quick because one of the other players tried to snipe me out. I dodge and shot them with my orb. Getting a point. I then run to help ME_K.O and my brother. She managed to launch my brother into the air. Herring him back onto the platform. Afterwards she hoisted herself up.

"You owe me one." She said as she ran towards the other platforms. "Oh it's on. Come on sis!" Five said. We hop from each floating platform. Managing to orb out some players. In the distance we see Mitch take out other players. I swoon at how boss he is at games. "Can you believe that rager?" ME_K.O said as we hid int he distance. "I guess that's why he's number one." Five said. "Number one dingleberry maybe." ME_K.O said. I will admit, Mitch is ambitious. Resulting in him doing what ever dirty trick in the book to win.

"I so want to beat this guy." She said. "Alright look, I just say we hang up on him. When its down the the three of us, best shot wins." Five said. We were getting rid of players back to back. Working together to make it to the final platform.

"Hey. I think I have a plan for us to get to the final platform." Five said. "We're on it bro!" I said. "Ok we gotta slow down though. There could be booby traps." He said as he stoped ME_K.O from continuing. "Slow down? It's a race." She said. Then someone shoved us out of the way and hoped right on into the final area. Getting himself eliminated.

"Ok that's a game changer." She said. We all fist bump each other and make our way towards the end. I then had eyed on Mitch. I could see his striking smirk as Five got closer to him. He was distracted with Five, giving me and ME_K.O an opportunity to attack. Mitch rolls off out of the way, "you realize this isn't co-op, right!? There's only one winner, me." he shouts. I shoot my orb again, almost hitting Mitch. He was then pre-occupied with trying to escape me.

"Look out." I said as Five and ME_K.O jumped to another platform. "Five look." I said as the platform I was on glowed. Five looked towards the statue in the middle. There it had a symbol similar to the one I was standing on. "It's a puzzle." Five said. He spots the other symbol and jumps to it. "Yes! This is for the win!" He said as he made it to the final area. Then I see Mitch aim his orb shooter at ME_K.O. "Look out!" I said as I tackled her. Taking the hit. "Kitty!" I hear Five yell before I'm out of the game. I look towards the screen and see Five shoot his orb at Mitch. Unfortunately ME_K.O ended up hanging off the edge. But oddly enough Five's orb glowed green and wouldn't return back. "Did this game just glitch on us?" He said.

"Ugh I'm showing a major software bug in there Mitch. We need to pull you from the game." The manager said. I look towards the screen as the camera was focused on Mitch. "Not until I secure this win." All of a sudden ME_K.O shoots her orb to Five. He catches it and shoots it into the ring. I cheer, "yes! Way to go Five! That's my brother!" I scream with joy. The crowd going crazy. "Yes! I won." Five said.

"You can score with another players ball like that! That's not fair!" Mitch said as he was pulled from the game. Mitch was now back and he went to the manager. "You guys saw that bogus shot, right? It can't count!" He said, in raged. "Tell me the game's glitched so it can't count." He said.

"We've got bigger problems than your high score right now Mitch!" The manager said. All of a sudden a green fist emerged from the TV. I gasp and fall into the floor. "Techs! Gauntlets up!" The manager said. Mitch then morphs on some cool Hinobi styled protective gear with a gauntlet on his right arm. I accidentally drool a bit at the sight. Him looking bad a** as ever. The other workers gear up as well. Shooting pink beams towards the glowing green fist. Everyone, like me, shocked at what they are seeing. "Let's hear it for augmented reality folks." The manager said. Trying to calm the public.

More green fist emerge from the TV and slam some of the workers out of the way. I too accidentally get hit off towards the side. My back and head hitting the wall and knocking me out.

Third P.O.V

Mitch seen the glitch smack his coworkers and Kit off the platform. "I'll do this myself." Mitch said with a determined look. But then he too was smacked to the side. Coincidentally landing right slightly on unconscious Kitty.

Inside the game Miko and Five was trying to fight off the statue glitch. "Think we can take him?" Miko asked. "Just one way to find out!" Five said. But then the glitch stepped on him. Proofing him back out of the game. "Oh nerds."

Mitch gets up and realizes he was on top of someone. He gasp and blush, seeing its Kitty. Shaking it off and quickly getting up to fight off the glitch. Using his gauntlet to hold it off. Five comes back and sees this, "what the.."

"Zahra! Nix, with me" Mitch yells. "Take it down!" He said as they shoot beams at the glitch. Five almost getting hit. He then sees his sister on the floor. "Sis? Kitty! Kit! Come on get up." He said. "Huh? What happened?" Kitty asked. Then a flash happened as the glitch was defeated. After the flash occurred everyone was bug eyed. Five and I look around confused.

"What kind of game is this?" Five said. "The kind nobody's going to remember." Five and Kitty then gets shot with the beam that makes people forget the events that occurred. "Good thing you were never here." Mitch said as he took the wristband from Kitty and Five. "We were never here." Five and Kit said. Mitch then looks at Kit. His eyes widened, he felt a warmth in his chest when he looked at her. He shakes off the feeling and reverts back to his cocky self. Kissing her cheek, "Thanks for the challenge." he whispers.
