Chapter 24: Quest Completed

Third P.O.V 

Miko decided to call up the guys on her gauntlet to see what they were up to. "Five, Bergy, where are you guys?" Miko asked. "Hey Hermano! Hey Bergy! Hope the XP quest is going well." Kit called out in the background. "Headed to the next quest point. You wanna join up?" Five asked. "Oh, yeah! There's just one thing..." Miko said, not clarifying on the phone. They then met up with the guys. Nica leaning on the Hinobi van while Five, Miko and Kitty chat. "Come on Miko, you can't bring your older sister on a mission." Five said worriedly. "We're sort of a package deal right now." Miko said with a shrug. "Uh, the next signal's inside guys!" Bergy said in excitement. "Fifteen minutes left. Uh...okay fine. She can come. Let's just hurry up!" Five said anxiously, not wanting to lose this opportunity. 

"So, what are you guys looking for in here?" Nica asked as she followed them into the carwash. "Oh, we'll know when we see it-" Bergy said, only to hit a forcefield that was invisible. "That's something alright." Kit said, trying her best not to giggle. Miko knocks onto the field as her and Five push onto it. Miko, Five and Kit activate their tech and seen there were hidden blocks. "Woah! Now you see em'....now you dont!" Miko said as she activated and reactivated her visors. "These plixel objects are frozen in stasis, like a paused game." Five said. "I can't see anything you guys." Nica said. "That's because those 3D Models have no skins on them." Bergy said as he got up from the ground. "He means these objects don't have any graphic layers turned on." Kitty explained. 

"uh,..Miko...you're..." Her sister said in shock as she saw Miko and her friends floating in the air. "Don't freak out sis. It's weird but its also science." Miko explained. Bergy then jumped on himself and the graphic layers activated, allowing Nica to see the blocks. "Woah! I can see them. I can see them! How is all this real?" Nica asked. "Let's just say it's technical." Miko explain without giving away too much. "Hey, I'm not finding any gems here. Uh, the timers still ticking Bergy! Where are the gems!" Five said in a panic. "These blocks seem familiar some how." Nica said to herself, then her phone went off. "Miko, selfie time!" Nica called out to Miko. 

"Uh, coming!" Miko said in defeat, not wanting to interrupt the quest. "Oh! I always wanted to be a photo bomb!" Bergy said excitedly. "Come on guys! We're on a quest timer over here." Five yelled out as Miko and Nica take a selfie with Bergy photobombing. "Ugh, need more XP if I'm gonna get those shoes. Come on, where are the dang gems?" Five yelled out in frustration. Five sees the block and shoots it with his blaster to see if it would do anything. But it only caused the blocks to collapse and break the soap and water dispenser in the car wash. Washing everyone out from there. "That was awesome!" Miko said as she emerged from the soap bubbles. "Tell me about it!" Kit said excitedly as she scooped up bubbled and tossed them in the air. 

Miko then burst out laughing as she sees her sister with a bubble beard, Kit trying to hold a laugh in. "It's not funny Miko!" Nica said irritably. "You look like Santa Clause!" Miko laughed. "Yeah, well!..." Nica started, wanting to insult her sister at first but then started to laugh herself. "....You look like you lost a fight to a 100 foot marshmallow." Nica said as the two of them laugh. "Hey Nica!" A girl said from behind them. Behind her is a car with three people holding their phones out, taking pictures."You've got to be kidding me." Nica muttered to herself. They snap a picture of her and then drive off laughing. 

"Wow...everyone really is watching you." Miko said in shock. "I just thought you were being over dramatic!" Kitty said in a panic, thinking all the high schoolers are watching their every move. Nica crumbles in embarrassment into the bubbles. As they get out of there, Nica's phone is going off a bunch. "Uh...you may not wanna go on sosh meds for a little while." Miko said with a scrunched look on her face. "I want to find the nearest hole in the ground and throw myself in it." Nica said in despair. "Hey! You guys!  We found a hole in the ground!" Bergy called out from the hole in the ground.
