Chapter 3: The Truth?

(If it wasn't obvious before. I'm changing some things here and there to appeal to adding in my character :3)

Kitty's P.O.V

Five and I were at the grill, cooking form food as the TV was on. "Mitch Williams secured his number one spot at the Hinobi Smash Tournament today." The gamer girl said. I cheer, "yes! What I tell you Five? No doubt about it, Mitch is the best." I swoon. "Need that order up here, niños!" Papí said. "You letting Five fall asleep on me, niña?" Papí calls out to me. "Oh I'm. Sorry Papí. I'm awake." Five said.

It was late and I was helping Five put the trash away. When all of a sudden a girl with long purple hair on her bike rides in front of us. "Five, Kitty! I found you two! In an alley! No judgements. I'm so glad that statue monster didn't crush you Five and that your ok Kit." She said as Five and I successfully placed the trash in the bin. But Five accidentally got hit by the lid.

"Do we know you?" I asked as I helped Five out from under the lid. "It's ME_K.O!" She said. Then Five got a flashback to when he kept getting defeated by a person with that gamer tag. He jumps back in fear. "Uuuh never heard of you." He said.

"We three just payed in the tournament together. You know, Nobi Smash? The game glitch? The statue monster?" She said making a weird pose. "We were in the tournament?" Five asked. "The tournament as in the one Mitch Williams won?" I said with a sparkle in my eyes.

"How could you two not remember?" She then gasp. "Maybe someone didn't want you to remember. Maybe some evil person who's trying to hide the truth like some kind of...some-spiracy!" She said worried and frantically looking around.

"Come on, I think my sister and I would of remembered being in Nobi Smash with a statue monster." Five said. "And I would of definitely remember meeting...Mitch Williams💕." I swoon. Five laughs at my childish behavior and punch my shoulder playfully as we make our way back to the food truck.

"So you didn't get a wristband, and you didn't go to the Hinobi Store?" She said. "The only place we've ever been for the last 3 days is this truck." I said. "And it never goes anywhere." Five said. "If this is a joke. I don't really get it but, haha you got us." Five said.

"You both were at that tournament! You got to believe me." She said desperately. "Why, why does it matter?" Five asked as he was cleaning the stove top. "Because you won, Five." She said walking off. I was taken back by her statement. "Some-spiracy?" I said confused. "Esta loco." Five said as she rode off. "Us in a tournament? Like we've been anywhere but-." I pause, about to pick up the stove brush Five dropped. When I see skid marks on the ground. Positioned exactly where our tiers always been. "Kit look." Five said. I look over and seen that the skid marks continued off onto the road.

"Uuuuh Abuela? Did you or Papi move this truck in the last few days?" Five asked. "Haha. This old beast hasn't moved in the last decade." She said. "Uhhh we'll be right back Abuela." I said as Five and I took off our aprons and hoped onto our bikes. "Hey, hold up!" Five said. "Ok let's just say we really did play in the tournament, you're saying I beat Mitch Williams?" Five asked as we pulled up next to her. "Uh yeah, with my and your sister's help of course." She said. "I don't know what is going on. But let's go find out!" I said cheerfully. Holding out my fist to her and my brother.

"Let's go! Setting new quest waypoint for the Hinobi store!" She said as we biked off. We leave our bikes in the middle of the parking lot and hide behind a car. "Man, my sister and I love this store. When we were little my dad would bring us here for all the masted game releases." I said. "Remember when we camped outdoors so that we get one of the first copies?" Five said as I nod. "Wow it's cool your family is so into gaming. Mine not so much." She said. "There's the wrinkly little sand worm!" She said pointing at the doors of the store.

And there stood Mitch Williams leaning into the counter with, who looked like, the manager of the store. "Oh please. There is not a single wrinkle on that specimen." I said with a dreamy look as I leaned on the car. "Oh man Mitch Williams!? He's like a local legend!" Five said. "Did you know he won his first competition when he was 6!? And he still got the highest global score on Nobi's bubble tea!" I said as hearts surrounded me.

"Well before your sister finishes her love letter, remember, Mitch is the creep who probably wiped your brains." Miko said. "Why didn't he do the same to you?" Five asked. "Maybe he did and it just didn't take. What if I'm like the one, you know? Chosen by destiny to protect the innocent from trolls like him! Or not. I dunno. Let's go! Wait stop!" She said as she pushed me and Five, only to drag us back down. We then see Mitch emerge from the store, looking boss as always. Getting into his Hinobi car and driving off.

"New plan. We follow him, stealth mode style till he leads us to one of his dens of lies!" Miko said, biking off. Mitch then pulls up to a fast food joint. So we hide behind the bushes and spy on him. "Welcome to mama Miyamoto's spaghetti in a bucket. Where we put spaghetti in a bucket." The drive through lady said, she seemed to preppy. (Example of me changing the story to fit w/ a good plot for my character, this is not the same ginger drive through lady in the episode.) But the next thing she did had me rolling off the rails. She leans over purposely as if to show off or get closer to Mitch.

Fire surrounds me and fills the look in my eyes. Getting ready to leap into action and cut this girl, but Five held me down and put his hand over my mouth as I growled and thrashed around. "Uuuh yeah. I'll have a small pail with a side of mmmm..no" Mitch said, me being secretly happy he didn't go forth with this girl's obvious flirting.

He then zaps her with a flash. Making the girl look stunned and drop her pencil. Five and I shockingly look and point as Miko calms us down. "Welcome to mama Miyamoto's spaghetti in a bucket. Where we put spaghetti in a bucket." The drive through lady said again. "Give me two mega buckets and two apple pies." Mitch said. The lady gets his order and says, "That will be $9.75."

"Boosh." Mitch says, which makes me swoon since it's his signature saying, as he zaps her again. "Welcome to mama Miyamoto's-." She started again. "You know. I'm not really hungry." Mitch said and drove off, laughing. "Holy smokes! that guy really can mess with minds!" Five said. "And just made off with about ten pints of free pasta." Miko said. "That. Is. Genius!" I said. Five and Miko look at me crazy. "What? It's free pasta!" I said. "New plan, get him!" Five said, ignoring my weirdness. "Good plan." Miko said.
