Chapter 33: Glitch Techs, not Mitch Techs

(A/N: ok, yes Mitch is usually nice to Kit at this point. But in this moment let's just say he's a bit irritated and guilty of being called out he lashed out at Kit. And I mean, these two have to have something obstacle their relationship. Let's just say his ego is getting the best of his this episode. Also thank you for all the love! Lucky for you guys, I pre-typed this chapter out long before I had season 1 finished because I liked all the Mitch scenes we get. Which means I'll just be updating/editing these chapters, making sure it fits in with the stuff already typed out, instead of my usual "typing out all of the episode".)

[Start of Episode 4, Season 2]

Third P.O.V

3 Hinobi vans rush down the street to the glitch location. The house was staticy as the 3 vans parked, surrounding the house. "Glitch techs..." Zahra and Bergey began, as Five and Miko  finished with "Go!" as the five of them epically exit their vans. "Did somebody call for Tech Support?" Five said in a cool voice. "This looks like a job for..." Miko began, only to get cut off by a whoosh.

Mitch speeds by with a booster, stealing the show. "Boosh!" Mitch chuckled as he struck a pose and swiped his hair back. "Mitch.." everyone whined. Kitty just casually getting out of the Hinobi Van her and Mitch came in on. "Not thinking about hogging all that juicy XP for yourselves, I hope." Mitch said. "Of course not, Mitchy." Kit said with a smile as she rested her elbow on her boyfriend's shoulder, of course having to elevate it with her being shorter than him. "Yeah, we got a high level-glitch in there that's gonna take a whole team to take out." Five said as he looked at the glitch stats on his gauntlet.

"So, let's party up, guildies! Whoo!" Miko cheered. "Hang on." Mitch said blocking their path and placing Kitty from beside him to in front of him. "As the highest-level Glitch Tech here. I will, of course, be leading the team." Mitch said. "Uh..." Miko started, only to get cut off by Kitty and Five. "Aye, aye Mitch!" Kit said with a salute, "Wow, okay, great Mitch." Five said with a smile. Making Miko pout and grumble at them. "What do you have planned babe?" Kit asked. "We're dealing with a copycat Glitch here. Its sole purpose is to spawn Glitch clones of anything it touches. So we need to be careful." Mitch said.

"Careful, got it. Good strategy." Miko said, wanting to get this team meeting over with so that she could punch some glitches. Only for Five to pull her back. "So do you have a plan or not?" Zahra asked with an eyebrow raise. "Huddle up and I'll give you newbs a lesson you'll not soon forget." Mitch said as everyone besides Zarah go towards Mitch. "Okey, what do we do?" Bergey said. "Stay here and be quiet, while I take a closer look." Mitch said as he chuckled. Kit gave his a confused look, "That's your strategy?" Kit said confused, bummed that he didn't include her in his plan since they are technically patrol partners now. "What kind of lesson is that?" Miko said, not buying his strategy lesson.

"Relax, just sit tight, until I give you the all clear." Mitch said to everyone. He then goes to Kit, taking her head into his hands and kissing her head, "Can you do that for me, love?" Mitch said quietly for Kit to hear. She smiles and nods, trusting him. "Be careful." She said with a smile, the two sharing a small kiss. Miko pretending to barf in the background. "Yes, sir." Bergey said as he saluted and stood still. Five, Zarah and Miko were not convinced by his plan.

Mitch then kicks the door open and walks inside. "Well, he is number one on the glitch tech leaderboards." Five said with a shrug. "Yeah, but he acts like a number two." Miko scoffed. "But hey, the sooner we're done here, the sooner us three can get back to HQ, 'cause guess who scored a used copy of Pixel Panic for game night?!" Miko said as she revealed the game from her back pocket.

"Um, Mitch said to maintain muted chat channels, guys. You're endangering the mission." Bergey whispered, who took Mitch's commands more literal than it needed to be. Making Miko do a face palm, Five give a 'really?' look to him, and Kit to roll her eyes.
