Chapter 21: Realization

Third P.O.V 

"I'm coming for you, rod!" Miko yelled as Ally few in the air towards the rod. "Chickens? I hate chickens!" Mecha yells, powering up her blaster as she shot at Ally. Miko swiftly got pass the shots and took out the control rod. Miko then shot at the glitch. Mecha managed to shot at Miko. Causing her to fall off Ally and Ally going into the water. However Ally was safe, floating in a duck floaty. Miko groans as she stands up. Mecha laughs at her, "Hasta la vista." Mecha said as she powered up her blaster at Miko. 

"Ah, enchilada." Miko said. "Miko!" Kit yelled as she pushed Miko out of the way, resulting in her getting into the cross fire. However, before it got to her, Five and the others swooped in. "Defense formation!" Five yelled as the three of them swooped in and shielded Kit from the blast. "Shields? I hate shields!" Mecha yelled. "Techs, return fire!" Five ordered. They shot at Mecha until she flew off. "Haha! That was awesome you guys! Good plan Five." Miko said. Ally then came in and shook off the water, Five shielding his hair. 

"And who's still my butt kicking birdie, huh? You are!" Miko praised Ally. Ally then turns her head to Five for praises. "Ah! Not now Ally." Five said as he pushed Ally away. "Miko, can I talk to you for a second?" Five said as he grabbed Miko's arm. "What's up? Are we telling secrets? Because between you and me. I think your sister has a very small crush on Zahra." Miko said. 

"I'm trying to lead this team and you rushed off before I could finish explaining the plan." Five said. "Oh, sorry. But no big deal right? You lead, I co-led and we busted up that rod!" Miko brushed off. "Dream team." she said as she held her fist out. "This is not the dream team right now. This is a mission and only one of us can be leading it. Okay." Five said harshly, not accepting the fist bump. "Um..okay." Miko said as her face fell. "Good talk." Five said as he pop his collar and walked back to the group. 

Meanwhile, one of the glitches set up another control point rod around Slushy Slide Island. "What primitive weaponry is this?" Tank asked as he saw the control panel for the water slide. "Water!" one of the glitches laughed. Tank pressed a button and that other glitch was going down the waterside screaming. "A torture device! I like it." Tank said as it spits out a picture. Mecha then flew down and landed beside Tank. "Sir! It was an ambush. I hate ambushes!" Mecha said, getting all up on Tank. "Boundaries!" he yelled as he pushed her face away. "There is a defending team. They took our control point." Mecha informed. "Change of plans. We've got some payback to deliver." Tank said. 

Back on Marshmallow mountain, Five had them sit downs so he can go over the plan. "Okay guys! Now we took back a control point, but we still have a team of four multiplayer glitches to frag out there." Five said. Haneesh then raised his hand, "You cant just defeat them-." he tried to inform, but Five interrupted again. "Miko and I will pull ago from that rhino guy while Zahra takes flank." Five informed, Miko yawning. "With Haneesh as support, we converge on the big ugly leader, and then boom!" Five said, once he said 'boom' something crashed behind them. 

"Go on." Tank said as he analyzed Five.  "What comes after boom?" Tank said as the other glitches laugh. "Oh, nerds." Five said nervously as his hair pops to his normal poof. The others stood, waiting for orders. "Zahra, can you give us some cover?" Five asked. "In 31 different flavors." Zahra responded. "Do it." Five said. Zahra shot a blast that caused a flash. Once the flash disappeared, Tank saw them still there. However, once he got to them he saw that they were just holograms of them. He looked around with a snarl, seeing them run into Fudge Falls. 

"After them!" he ordered the other glitches. "Run? That was your plan?" Kit yelled to Five. "This ride is uber cheesy guys." Zahra said. "They're panicking just like Mitch said they would. Admit it Five, you don't know what you're doing--No! You can do this. They're all counting on you." Five said to himself. "Ok, just keep it together guys. We can take those glitches down." Five said. "Actually they can't be just--" Haneesh said, trying to inform Five important info on the glitches.
