"Can't I just call in sick? No one will notice if I were to slip outright?" I debate getting dodgy looks from Peni. "What? You know I don't do well with large crowds..."

"You promised you would give it your all, Y/N/" Peni exclaimed, frustrated.

"Yeah, well, that was before the giant crowd of people screaming and shouting. I'm just some guy trying to do good; I'm not some celebrity."

Peni patted me on the back, nodding. "I hear ya, you can do all the good in the world, but you have to do this every once in a while. Just think of it this way, what you do today will inspire kids to follow in your footsteps. That there is some good."

"Well, when you put it that way," I mutter, tying my shoelaces. "I'll give it 60%, maybe 65. Of course, I have no interest in winning this thing, but I'll try and have fun."

Holding her fist out, I fist-bumped her as she smiled. "That's all I'm asking, who knows, maybe I'll take part next year? My invention will be up and running soon enough."

"Don't think I'll go easy on you."

"I wouldn't want it any other way. Oh, and try and be careful. Mei has gone crazy with her inventions this time around."

"Don't need to tell me twice," I say, standing up and seeing everyone getting ready. "Well, I guess I'm up? Wish me luck?"

"You don't need it. But I'll cheer you, Ashido and Otto on."

"Deal," I shout, running off. Meeting with class 1A, I began moving around stretching. "So Ashido, I thought we should make this a competition. Whoever can the furthest wins?"

Ashido's eyes perked up as she was on board from the get-go. "Now that sounds like fun; they'd be penalties for whoever loses, right? Ok, I can get on board. If I get further than you... You have to swing me to and from school each and every day for a month."

"You're taking no prisoners, aren't you?" I scoff, stroking my chin. "And you, in turn... Have to join the same agency as me. After the festival, we will have to start looking into placements, right? I've already got mine lined up, so what's say it? If you lose, you come and train with me?"

"You're serious? Do you want me to join your agency? You want me to join the Avengers?! This isn't some kind of joke? Holy God, dude... You know what I'm somewhat tempted to lose now, but swinging to school does sound appealing... Not to mention you'll have to meet my parents."

"Say what?" I croak. "That wasn't a part of the deal."

"Is now Tiger." She smirked, flicking my nose. The two of us stared at each other for what felt like forever. At that moment, everything slowed to a crawl as we both leaned in close. Before anything could happen, the sound of a loud cannon went off, making me jump. Ashido looked away, going red. "We should probably."

"Yeah, yeah. Right the festival." I cough, nodding. Turning around, I saw Uraraka, Momo and Jiro watching with giant grins across their faces. Looking away, I tried hiding my face under my shirt.

They saw everything!

Readying, everyone soon began lining up as they were called up. Taking a deep breath, I started keeping myself in good spirits. "I can do this... I can do this."

That was until I stepped out seeing the stadium overpacked with roaring fans. Gulping, I swithered up in fear. "I can't do this."

"Stop acting like a loser and get out of my wayside character!" Bakugo roared, pushing past.

Stumbling back, I took serval breaths only to have Midoriya place a hand on my shoulder. "You've got this Y/N. You're a hero like us."

"Yeah. Yeah, I can do this." Walking out into the open, the crowd picked up as cameras flashed all over. Drones swooped around, focusing on the group. Looking at the large TV screen, I noticed the drones were focused on me. Giving a half-assed wave, I kept walking, focused on the goal ahead.
