Dark clouds spread over the main shrine, with thunder and lightning soon following. The weather forecast for today is bright and sunny showers highest of 14c. At least that was the plan.
Leaping between the trees, I webbed under one dodging a vast bombardment of electricity as Shiraishi came flying through, blasting me more, keeping me on my toes. Most had fled during the chaos, and it wouldn't be long before the pros showed up.
Launching myself off a branch, I spun around trying to web the electrical villain, only for my webbing to melt before even making contact. Then, I held my hands out, perched on a tree, yelling. "Wait, Shiraishi!"
He stopped looking conflicted. "How do you know that name? How do you know who I am?!"
"I know what happened, Shiraishi; I know the experiments they did on you. They lied to you, but I want to help you. I know some people who can get you the help you need. Let me help you, Shiraishi. If not for you, think about Rumi."
"Rumi..." He whispered, holding his head wild bolts of electricity exhausting out everywhere. "Keep my sister out of your damn mouth!"
Leaping back, I avoided more attacks swinging away, losing hope I could get through to him. But I wasn't about to give up so soon. "You miss her, don't you? I bet you wish more than anything in the world that you could be reunited. But, it doesn't have to end this way, Shiraishi; you don't have to be the villain, please!"
Zapping beside me, I was hit by a massive jolt of electricity holding me on the spot. My web-shooters were fried as I fell back, crashing into the trees dropping my school bag. Quickly scooping everything up, I tried webbing up, finding them toasted again. "You liar! Osborn promised me that too! He promised me a way to escape this curse, but he used me. Just like you! I'm done having people like you hunt me down like a monster!"
Fleeing into the tree line, I had no choice but to run. I wasn't going to win this fight, and Shiraishi wasn't listening. If I was to beat him, I needed to figure a way out of overcoming his quirk. Jumping over the shrine wall, I began climbing a set of buildings leaping between them. Once I knew I had lost him, I sat down, taking my poorly patched together mask off, seeing my hair sticking up in my phone reflection.
Throwing my web shooters in my bag, I sighed, lying down. "I really need a way to keep my webbing in check... Maybe Peni can brainstorm some ideas, work a shot? But I need to hurry before Osborn gets his hands on Shiraishi... Somehow I just don't believe he really wants to cure his condition even if that's possible." Checking my phone, my eyes widened as I jumped up. "Crap, I'm late again; Doctor Connors will kill me!"
Throwing the last of my spider equipment in my bag, I jumped off the side of the building, making my dash for school.
Shiraishi landed where he had just been fighting the Spider, frustrated; this was the third time they had battled now. But, unlike Norman and his lackeys, the Spider wasn't giving up. That was until he noticed something in the corner of his eye. A bolt of lightning brought the small card to him as he looked on with a smug look.
It was a student card. "Y/N Parker, UA High Support Department..." The smirk turned to a laugh as he threw it away, rippling around with crackling lightning. "You won't hunt me down anymore, Y/N Parker!"

"What do you have to say for yourself this time, Mr Parker? This time, you must have some incredible excuse for being nearly an hour late to my class again." Doctor Connors sighed, fed up and clearly frustrated with the repeating case day in and day out. "And before you say you slept in, I already called your Aunt; she confirmed you left in time for school."
