The countdown to the New Year was vast approaching as the Osborn household was throwing a party to celebrate.
Harry waltzed in with two drinks bobbing and weaving through the crowd of people. "Here you go, Miss Watson, just for you."
The red-haired girl took the drink, looking around. "Cool party. Your father must be pretty cool to let you have a New Year's Eve party."
"O-oh. Yeah, he's umm." Harry paused, hearing the door ring. "Sorry, I should answer that."
Letting even more guests in, Harry continued laughing, tipsy tripping over a bookshelf. "Who put that there right? But, hey, there's food and drinks in the kitchen. Senkō just ordered pizza. Should be here any moment."
Continuing his mascarade, Harry paused, spilling his drink, dazed, staring towards the balcony. "Y/N?"
Standing in the doorway, I had my suit on full display, my mask down by my side. I glanced around, finding Norman to be nowhere in sight. "Where is he?"
Harry put his drink down, smiling. "How are you doing, buddy? I didn't know you were discharged from the hospital so early; If I had known, I would have come down myself. But, that doesn't matter; now that you're here, please enjoy yourself."
"Where's your father, Harry?" I reply coldly again, gripping my mask tightly.
"My father?" Harry whispered, looking confused. "Do you have business with him? He's not here; he's on a trip out of town."
"Is that what he told you? Is that what he always tells you when he abandons you like trash?!"
The music died down as this got everyone's attention. Harry looked at everyone else, laughing. "We're. We're just messing around. Look, I can see you are upset. Why don't you have a drink and relax? I need to meet the new arrivals."
"Don't you walk away from me, Osborn!" I bark, making him turn on the spot. "Where is Norman Osborn?"
"You want the Green Goblin, right?" Harry sighed, making me flinch. "What you thought I didn't know? No, ah, ah, Y/N, I put the pieces together quite quickly. I'm pretty sure my father knows that too, probably why he lets me throw so many parties. Why he doesn't give any fucks about my failing grades."
"You knew all this time and never told me?!" I whisper, staring daggers at him.
"Like how you never told me you were Spider-Man. You don't get to pull that card, Parker; I thought we were friends. Best friends, but you made that very clear otherwise, lying to me all this time. And then when the truth came out, you dumped me for your super friends leaving me in the dirt. So you have no right coming here lecturing me."
Harry turned away as I snapped, shouting. "He killed Ashido! Your father murdered her in cold blood."
Pausing for a moment, Harry looked sympathetic. "I'm... I'm sorry to hear that, Y/N, I am. But I can't tell you where he is; he's still my father. So I wouldn't expect you to understand."
I didn't even hesitate as I punched Harry in the face making him stumble back. Everyone at the party stepped back, egging us on. Harry wiped his bloody lip, shocked. "So that's how it's going to be, yeah?"
Harry returned a shockingly powerful punch making me slide back. "You like that? I'm not the only one with a few tricks up my sleeve!" Hissing, I picked up a sofa throwing it at him blasting Harry back into the kitchen. As he tried getting up, I webbed his leg, tossing him across the apartment into the mirror, shattering it. People began screaming and running out of the building.
Standing over Harry, I stepped on his stomach, threatening him. "You're going to tell me where he is, or else I start breaking each bone one by one." Tackling me back into the balcony, we began our scuffle, exchanging blows. Mine is far more devastating. Harry threw another punch which I caught, twisting his arm and crushing his fist. Kicking him back, he fell against the barrier.
