The school bell screamed out as everyone burst from the building seeking freedom. I was one of the last to leave deflated, finding my belongings thrown across the field. My paperwork is flying away.
Stepping down, I wiped my chipped lip taking a deep breath. Senkō and his group of bullies pushed me out of the way, making me fall down the stairs.
"Ooh, watch where you step, loser!" Senkō barked, running for the bus.
Staring at my sworn enemy, I dropped my head in shame. That's when a girl came running down the stairs throwing her juice carton and shouting. "Cowards! Why don't you pick on someone your own size?!"
Picking myself up, I patted myself down. Then, ignoring the girl shouting like a madman, I began approaching my broken bag and inspecting the damage. "Hey, you alright, man?"
"Yeah... I'm used to it." I chuckle, holding back my tears. "Senkō is a joker; we were just messing around." Holding my back, it fell from my hands, the strap tearing off. "Damn it... Uncle Ben is going to kill me."
To my utmost surprise, the girl began running around, catching the pieces of paper flying away. Then, scooping them all up, she came back over. "Here you go."
"O-oh. Thanks." I reply, stuffing them in my broken bag. "You didn't have to do that, you know. No one else messed with Senkō; you'll only get on his bad side if you do."
The pink girl howled with laughter swinging her hand around. "That pathetic loser? Please, he's afraid of me. If you stood up for yourself, bullies like Senkō would leave you alone."
"Easier said than done," I mutter, rubbing the back of my neck. "I won't keep you. I've got an internship at Oscorp I'm running late for."
"You're the guy running the internship? I was hearing the rumbling of some genius in our school. Fancy meeting you, huh?"
"Yeah. Crazy." I whisper, dragging my bag behind me. "See ya."
The girl ran in front of me, licking her thumb and rubbing the blood off my face. "You can't go looking like that! Hold still. There you go, good as new."
Blushing faintly, I looked down, smiling. "Th-Thanks."
Holding her hand out, she returned the smile. "My name is Mina Ashido."
Taken back for a moment, I cleared my throat, shaking her hand. "I'm Y/N Parker."
"Parker, Parker, Parker. Y/N Parker. I like that name; if those pricks ever give you any trouble again, give me a shout. I'll come running and give them a piece of my mind."
I couldn't help but laugh at this, wiping my eye. "My hero. I'll keep that in mind, but I'll be fine. Thanks."
I stared at Ashido, fumbling around and walking back. "Well... See ya."
I quickly ran off down the road for my bus. Ashido watched, smiling; glancing down, she saw a stray piece of paper. Picking it up, she shouted. "Yo, Parker, wait! You left yo-."
She paused, looking at the piece of paper. It wasn't any school work or notes. It was a drawing of a red and blue superhero costume looking like something straight from a comic book. It wasn't of any pro she was known of. Ashido couldn't help but admire the work smiling, folding the piece of paper up and putting it in her bag. "Y/N Parker... What a funny guy."

"No more riddles and tricks. It's over, Osborn! You failed; you failed to take my Aunt from me. You're finished."
Even with what looked like a victory, I didn't feel any safer as Norman kept grinning. "Tell me, Spider-Man, why didn't I just kill May when I had the chance? I could have, but I didn't."
