The bus ride was long and atrocious. Slouched at the back of the coach, I had my headphones in, feet up on the chairs in front as I scrolled through my many tabs looking up everything related to this new Desert Delquients. Then, lost in thought, I felt someone tap my foot, forcing me to look up, taking off my headphones.
Kirishima squeezed over, glancing at my phone. "What you looking at, dude?" Sighing, I handed him my phone as Kirishima looked confused. "The Desert Delinquents... Hey, I've heard of these losers."
Taking my phone back, I raised my eyebrow. "You have?"
"Yeah, they were causing a mess at my local supermarket throwing fruit, toppling over stands, among other stupid petty things. So why are they on your radar?"
"I had a run-in with them earlier this morning trying to destroy the All Might statue in the park. Punks like that aren't even worth my time, truth be told. It's their leader I'm interested in." I state, spinning my phone around and showing him. "Penelope Marco, she's the apparent leader of these drop-outs. She also happens to be the daughter of the infamous Flint Marco, also known as Sandman."
"I remember that guy; he would rob banks and get away using his quirk. What happened to the guy?"
"My uncle put him away like many other crooks. But, without his quirk, he was a nobody; truth be told, during a prison brawl, he was killed and stabbed by a crude made knife. I thought that was the end of that; uncle Ben did too. I had no idea he had a daughter, nor could she pack quite a punch. I can still feel sand in my shoes."
"Oh, so this is the next criminal you have on your watchlist. It's hard to go from a worldwide crime lord to a little girl playing house."
"Remind me how many villains you've brought in, Kirishima?" I jab, turning my phone off and looking out the window.
"Ouch." He sighs, glancing back at Ashido. "Say, did something happen between you two?"
"No? Why, did she say something?" I question.
Kirishima shook his head. "What, no. Nothing in the slightest; it's just I thought you two would be sitting together, that's all."
Feeling my eyebrow twitch, I kept staring out the window. Finally, I just began ranting to myself. "I don't get her sometimes, you know; I mean, she knows I'm busy not only doing school work, training with the Avengers but also fighting crime. I mean, I don't ignore her on purpose; I try my best to take the time out of my day to see her. Does she see it that way? I mean, of course not? She's clearly jealous; I'm hitting it big before we've even made it to year 2. I'm sorry, I got a big break, and I'm killing it; evil isn't just going to wait for me, right?!"
"Whoa, easy there, Tiger, you don't really mean that, right? I think you really need to talk to Ashido; you know both hear their side of the story."
Scoffing, I leaned back, yawning. "Why am I even bothering to talk to you about this? Like you'd understand."
"What the hell does that mean?" He snapped back, staring at me, annoyed. "Did you bring your superhero costume along? Why?"
"If it's all the same to you, Kirishima, I'd like to be left alone."
"Something is wrong, something is definitely wrong, yeah? You usually aren't like this Y/N, not this bad. Wh-."
"What part of leaving me alone do you not understand?! It means back the fuck off!" I shout, getting everyone's attention. Kirishima flinches, standing up and sitting back in his original seat. Noticing everyone watching, I put my headphone back on, patrolling the message boards and news reports on my next score.

After some time alone, the coach stopped on the cliffside. Aizawa stood up, clearing his throat. "Everyone out. We're here."
